Stroll in the moonlight: or "How to Walk a Dragon" (open)

Sammy saw the two spells coming at her, the protection one and Ne'Os's crucio spell. She tryed to get out of the way in time, but the combined force of the two pushed her backwards in mid-air. "Aaahhh!!!" She flew backwards hitting her head on a rock. She sat up, felt the hot pain and blood dripping down her head. She was even weaker now, and she was angery. Luckily for Ne'Os, Miseria and Alester, Sammy didn't have her evil side anymore. So she stood up, pointed her wand at Ne'Os. "Sectersempra, Petrificus Totalus, Expelliarmus." Sammy said throwing them all at Ne'Os and hoping for the best.

Alester remained staid watching the action play out before his eyes. He was able to follow the flow of the events as they played out; even though he was the sole human entity in the clearing. His eyebrow arched as Ne'Os cast unfirgivables as easily as he used his Tarot for spellwork. So true evil then, perhaps a worthy ally then. He was never one to act without thinking, and he had allied himself with the power who seemed stronger, Alester was not stupid enough to think that men were ever stronger, which had been his reason for pausing as he did. What had changed him was Ne'Os force of attack, adn quick wit.

He saw the spells collide in front of the tree and even he could smell the blood as Samantha was struck in the head. He was an unassuming human, yet even he had a blood fetish. Perhaps he wasn't quite in such unexpected company after all, monsters weren't they all?

His eyes were black with bloodlust and he only held himself rigid in ready pose by sheer force of will. He wanted to trace his fingers against the trail of crimson he could see on Samantha's pale skin, and he wanted it badly. Not a vampire, not even really a desire to become more than what he was, yet with a thirst of his own... he stood motionless watching the werebeing closely, she had defended only up to this point, but he was sure to become a target eventually; seen as the weakest link. A sneer curved his lips as he waited for the attack he had to assume was coming.

He wouldn't fight against the vampire unless he had too, they were too fast; and he didn't want to attack the weregirl, she had done him no direct harm; yet he was not dumb enough to think the encounter was over yet...

Ne'Os felt the curse hit him large dep cuts opened on hsi chest. He chucled at samantha the bleeding stopped with a wave of his wand. He aperated a short distance away to avoid the next two spells he then healed the wounds with magic and sent a killing curse at Miseria hopeing to distract her from protecting sam. He then turned the elder wand at her and thoguht, crucio. He noticed Alester seemed to not have fought. Well that was no problem if he failed to start soon. Ne'Os would do something to "persuade" him to fight.

Miseria looked at Sam who flew at the stone. She felt how her heart started beating faster and faster with every moment, when she turned her sight back at Ne'Os. "That is so unbelievable that i'm stepping against the vampire now..." she murmured to herself, putting on a protecting shiled, while he stopped bleeding. Swearing in thoughts. She was still starin at Ne'Os when she saw the light-green curse flying towards her. Gasping loudly, she jumped away. No, with just Protego, she couldn't protect herself.
And death seemed to already be in love with her. She always got some problems with the death eaters, and now, including one vampire who tryes to kill her - not so nice.

She was laying down on the ground, watching as cruciatus flew trough the air, not far away from her face. When it was finally lost in the air, she got up, and held her wand at him. "Well, that was so polite," she said sarcastically, still breathless. Then she started walking closer to Sam, putting on the protecting shield, so that both of them could be safe for a while. And for the beginning, she didn't attack right now.

"Well you see as she is no longer my wife and since i have no feelings for her i can do what i want to her" he said smileing at her "And well, bomburda maxima" he said sending the spell at the shield wondering if he could shatter it that way.

Miseria scowled at him, looking kind of deep with her emotions. "And that's how you get rid of your exes?" she shouted back at him. This part was unknown to her. She had felt love and she did love her boyfriend, though, she hasn't seen him around lately. Like the last time.
"Protego!" she shouted again, trying to make the shield stronger. And as the spell hit the shield, it hit her at the tree, although, the spell "exploded" in the air, making no harm to her.

She fell on the ground, gasping the air. Her head was beelding. Again. It seemed that the bad luck still loved her that much. And the death was looking for her even more. It was like it has been only on a vacation.

Alester decided that waiting was not helping things, so he looked at the prone figure of the werebeing, and drew yet another card from his deck, Petrificus Totalus he said softly intent on hitting her while she was vulnerable and her shield was momentarily destroyed. It was a dirty move, and he wasn't completely certain he had been successful...but he was tired of her interfereing. Apparently Ne'Os and Samantha had something to finish, and he was curious to see how that went...

Sammy jumped out of the way of the curses that Ne'Os, threw at her. She saw out of the corner of her eye that the Alester kid wasn't fighting. She didn't know if this was a good thing or a bad thing, but she had no time to think about it her or now. She refocused her energy on Ne'os, just in time to see Miseria standing near her. She saw the protection sheild that Miseria put up, she tryed to add to the protection but not in time. The spell hit the sheild and bounced off, but blew in mid-air. Sammy held her ground slightly, and watched as Miseria fell to the ground. She would have gone over and helped her house mate up, but she thought that protecting her from Ne'Os would be a better use of her energy.

Sammy pointed her wand at Ne'Os, thinking to herself that life really sucked right now. How did it come out that she was fighting the man she thought she had once loved. She shook the thought from her mind, and continued with the battle. "Bombarda, Avada Kadavara, Sectersempra, Petrificus Totalus!!" Sammy said throwing the Bombarda at the ground in front of Ne'Os, watching bits of ground fly around, then throwing the killing curse and the sectersempra to the sides of him and Petrificus Totalus in the middle so that at least one of them hit him no matter how he moved. She then watched as a spell flew at Miseria, she wanted to protect her but could only hope to get there in time.

Miseria took her wand, trying to move faster than she already did. The blood was pouring out of her wound and she didn't have any time to make it stop because on the next moment, she managed to put on a weak protecting shield. As the spell wasn't strong enough, she made it fly away and then she got up. She moaned quietly and fixed the wound, but still, she felt the pain.

Then she saw Samantha attacking Ne'Os and looked at Alester. it seemed that there was the balance again. Mortal against mortal and immortal against immortal. Not that they really had some chanses to winn, but Miseria couldn't step away anymore. Probably they'd hunt her down and there was one other thing what made her stay there. Sam. Not that she really knew her, but it was just that she was loyal. Maybe too loyal right now, but how could she turn her back at the one who needed help the most? And because Ne'Os was stronger than she was, Miseria was ready to help her, no matter how.

Then, raising her wand again, she looked at Alester. She didn't understand why he was on his side? Was it the bloodlust?

Ne'Os dodged the killing curse and the freezing charm but not the cutting spell he could feel blood pooring down his front. The bleeding quickly stopped due to his vampire healing "Oh Sam your spilling my pure blood all over the ground. maybe ill have to go visit the school and choose a wittle hufflepuff to drink from. Ive seen Sophia and Mariana and even Godric with this one child it wont be hard to find him i can smell his blood from here" he said wondering if this would have a effect on her. He raised his wand again and thought, Incarcerous,crucio. Thick ropes with thin lines of silver in them shot at Sam trying to wrap around her. the crucioters curse followed shortley after to add insult to injury.
