A Slew of Characters

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR
Hi all,
So I'm trying to get back in the game. I still have lots going on as I'm a full time student and working two jobs. With that said, I'd love some new plots, but I would like to plot stuff that either has some clear signs of promise, a direction, or feed into current plotting. I just don't have time for those threads that go nowhere. That said, I love talking characters and would love to hear ideas you have, or if you just really want to have our charries meet, I'm sure we can think of something. So hit me with everything you got.

ACE LONGBOTTOM
biography
Alice Longbottom. Fifteen. Hufflepuff. Potter’s Army Sympathizer.
What has she been up to? Mostly trying to prove that she knows more than the people around her. Not because she wants to put anyone down, but she’s just mad to prove her worth. She assumes that someone will one day hear how smart she is and suddenly really appreciate her. She loves people but isn’t good with them. She wants better for her world. She wants to help. She wants to help Christian remount Potter’s Army.
What does she need? A bit of everything. I don’t think she really has any close friends, but I’m sure she has a few friendly acquaintances and a study buddy or two. She has certainly annoyed some people so might have some rivals.

CASEY WEASLEY
biography
Casey Lou Weasley. Fourteen. Gryffindor.
What has she been up to? She’s been trying to convince her parents to let her go to this American school after hearing about an exchange program. She feels alone and marginalized at school, having made some enemies in her crusade to defend Lily Potter’s honor. She’s… over all of Hogwarts.
What does she need? Everything over at Ilvermorney. If you are interested and not going to Ilvermorney, throw something my way and we’ll see.

CLAIRE BISHOP

Claire Bishop. Nearly twenty-three. Former Durmstrang. Head of Magical Law Enforcement.
What had seen been up to? Lately, she’s just been treading water. She’s heard nothing from her boss in America so she is doing what she can in the meantime – her other job. Since Max has left, she’s felt a little more alone. She has Elsie, sure, but Elsie’s been a bit distant too. So she goes to work and comes back home and enjoys a glass of red wine and does it all again.
What does she need? A work friend, certainly. An interesting case that needs her involvement. Even a legitimate enemy might rouse her out of this funk.

DOM WEASLEY

Dominique Weasley. Twenty-two. Former-Gryffindor. Hogwarts Keeper of the Keys. Order.
What has she been up to? Awhile back, she went on a crazy adventure to save her little cousin from her scary elder cousin, and now she’s working on fixing her relationship with Declan Arryn. She should probably find a part time job for the summer, as she blew a lot of her salary… But she tries to ignore such worries.
What does she need? Some friends? A new job, since she’s so bad at hers?

DUCKY BAKER
biography
Jonah Baker. Seventeen. Gryffindor. Criminal-in-training.
What has he been up to? Adjusting. Ducky is pretty well known to the Hogwarts populace, but he’s been less social since his best friend Nora had to move. He’s relied more on Ali and Finn, as of late, but they have their own lives, leaving him to consort with his best mate Bev and his halfbrother Cain, both of who have not helped him avoid his life of crime.
What does he need? A tutor – he’s in great danger to not pass his NEWTs. Some more friends, more enemies. Someone willing to give him some crime work, someone trying to help him reach a career goal.

ELSIE NORTON
biography
Elizabeth Norton. Twenty three. Former Durmstrang. American.
What has she been up to? “Working”, not well. She feels trapped at work, and worse, she feels trapped between two hard decisions. She found out awhile back that her brother was a Death Eater and now she is thinking… maybe she should follow suit?
What does she need? Someone to push her one way or the other – I’d sort of prefer her go Death Eater. Everything else.

FINN GRIMM
biography
Fiona Grimm. Sixteen. Hufflepuff. Vampire
What has she been up to? Mostly avoiding home, where she know her father awaits with more surprises for her future that she simply cannot handle. She came down with a bad case of the black cat flu earlier in the year and used her recovery as an excuse to stay at Hogwarts. Ducky has been great company.
What does she need? Inspiration? Something to love for? She’s VERY open.


GABBY SHORT
biography
Gabriel J. Short III. Thirty-two. Former Gryffindor. Should have a job, doesn’t. Werewolf.
What has he been up to? Petty crimes. Using his family’s money. Pretending like it’s not a big deal that his best friend moved away and that she-devil got to say good bye last. Taking care of the Dyllan-Morrison kids. ‘Cause he’s a good bloke.
What does he need? A real job. And everything.

JACK DYLLAN

Jaquellene Dyllan. Twenty-three. Former Gryffindor. Unspeakable. Beater for Falmouth Falcons.
What has she been doing? Saying good bye to a good friend. Getting used to life alone again.
What does she need? Bros. Blasts from the past. Work stuff.

KIP PARSONS
biography
Kipling Parsons. Twenty-seven. Former Slytherin. Professor.
What has he been up to? He has been going through the process of adopting a child he helped rescue awhile back. The paperwork is horrendous but soon he will be her guardian. Beyond that, he’s been trying to keep up with letters to Katarina as she goes to school abroad.
What does he need? Sort of everything. More friends. More rivals. Romantic interests. Help climbing the political ladder.

LILY POTTER

Lily Potter. Eighteen. Former-Gryffindor. Potioneer.
What has she been up to? Keeping her head down. She left Hogwarts notorious. She was the girl who had to repeat a year because she went off the deep end. She was the girl who had hidden her werewolf-secret until she hurt a fellow classmate.
What does she need? Some people to remind her of her Hogwarts years could be interesting. She’s beginning to ‘cope’ again, so some new friends could be good.

MARGO RICHARDS

Margo Richards. Fifteen. Ravenclaw? Really?
What has she been up to? Livin’ it up with her BFF Molly. She’s actually been chatting with this really nice guy. Older, super handsome, rich, might be a mobster, really likes her… She has a good feeling about this one.
What does she need? Lay it on me.


MOLLY WEASLEY

Molly Weasley. Fifteen. Ravenclaw.
What has she been up to? She really won’t let on. She has eyes that don’t tell and lips that rarely move. She saved Lily and now she’s back suffering through school.
What does she need? Idk I think it’d be really fun to have a plot with a professor.


TEDDY LUPIN

Edward Lupin. Thirty-one. Ex-Hufflepuff. Counselor. Order
What has he been up to? This is where I need your help. After everything happened with Lily and she wouldn’t let him help, he went on holiday somewhere. Went and volunteered and has come back with new purpose. Idk what that is yet. Any ideas would be welcome.
What does he need? EVERYTHING.

WENDY FUDGE
biography
Wendy Fudge. Fifteen. Hufflepuff. Ball of sunshine.
What has she been up to? Probably the most normal of the bunch, Wendy has just been studying her arse off for OWLs.
What does she need? EVERYTHING.

Ace

Well, if you know about Christian's plans, you probably know Jenna's as well.

I imagine you could get Lucy stuck in the middle somehow while you're at it.

Casey

I don't know if Casey would know Bethany (Dursely, she's in 3rd year) but I'm sending her to Ilvermorney.

Ducky

I want Jenna to try tutoring him.

Gabby

My Elliot is about to be turned into a werewolf. I dunno what's gonna happen after that but he's a muggle so it should be interesting. Maybe Gabby can show him how to be a "good" werewolf or something?

Kip

Ooooh, Monroe should have lunch with him. They can plan how to get Monroe a seat on the Wizengamot or something.

Lily

How do you feel about a massive argument? I feel like Lucy would either avoid Lily entirely or eventually explode and scream at her to stop being a self indulgent brat. Probably in public.

Molly

I got this one and Destrey if you want someone who'll overlook her bad habits.

Teddy

Shylock's going into rehab, so he'll probably need a counsellor at some point.

AcexJenna - I don't know anything about Jenna's plans, actually. I'm very curious.

AcexLucy - I imagine they sort of act like cousins, seeing how close Ace was to everyone growing up. And there's probably some competition there, since they both have tendencies to try to show off their smarts.

CaseyxBethany - I'd love to have them thread once they get over there.

DuckyxJenna sounds perfect. I'm 100% down for it.

GabbyxEliot - I've been wanting Gabby to have a pack for awhile. Ideally, I wanted him to have a pack of teenaged werewolves he was supposed to protect, ironically making him Daddy Gabby, but Gabby also is constantly in trouble with the Ministry. Perhaps one of his newest punishments is helping this poor turned muggle not get himself killed on his first full moon.

KipxMonroe - I'd be willing, except I haven't done much with the Wizengamot in some time. I might need time to get back in the political headspace.

LilyxLucy - Honestly, Lily wouldn't argue back. She'd just nod blankly and let Lucy berate her. I'm down for it, but there won't be much of an argument. However, if Casey is there, Casey would probably try to punch Lucy.

MollyxDestrey/Selwyn - I think she would enjoy attention from either, really. She hangs around the CoMC paddocks often enough that I'm sure one day Selwyn could approach her, and DADA+Weasley is just a natural fit.

TeddyxShylock - So I'm trying to transition Teddy out of counseling because he's not in the headspace for it but - idea. Perhaps Shylock comes to Teddy despite this and Teddy gets an idea and pairs Shylock and Lily up as partners in their rehabilitation? (He doesn't know she's begun to dip her toes back into that life.)

Jenna's going to be running a counter PA campaign. I imagine she'd try to use Lucy as an example of how dangerous it is.

Okay, now I have this vision of Lucy berating Lily at a family gathering and Casey trying to punch her and Percy being absolutely livid and then him and Charlie getting into a fist-fight...

We have such a family outing that we can use that for. Addie and I are working up to some personal plotting in that thread, but once we get that sorted, which should be happening soon, we should totally do that.

And sounds good. It'd be fun to see Jenna and Alice to go head to head.

Okay -deep breath-

Ace: I'm not sure who to give you for this one. Delwyn could be a friend, but probably not a close one. She's in the same house as Cesca, if you're interested in something a little more antagonistic.

Casey: Delwyn will be at Ilvermorney.

Claire: Rivah works in the Ministry. Also, if she needs a baddie to chase, she could be after Marie's darker half? But that would probably be a more hc thing than a decent thread.

Dom: I've... got nothing? Unless you're looking for a random run-in, in which case you can have any of mine.

Ducky: HE HAS BEEN ROOMING WITH TOBY ALL THIS TIME. JACKLES, WE MUST.

Elsie: You need someone to tempt her dark? Ooooh boy. I've got Scorp, Marie, Rivah (this one might be a little tricky, but could be done) and Kat-Car (which, eh, would probably be a bit much for poor Elsie). I don't know if any of these would work for you, but you know me, I'm always happy to assist in turning a charrie dark. XD

Finn: Is roomies with Cesca? Same year as Delwyn?

Gabby: Haven't got a job for him, but he could go drinking with Bal?

Jack: We've got a Viv thread. Toby is always down for seeing Jack, though.

Kip: Marie could be a friend? And could be helpful for the whole climbing-the political ladder thing. Come to think of it, Rivah also works for both of those.

Lily: Viv could be interesting. They were in the same year at Hoggies and both do Potions stuff now.

Margo: Delwyn...?

Molly: You know who I want to thread her with.

Teddy: Um, Bal via Order things? Rivah could go to him as a counselor!!

Wendy: Again, you know what I want here.

AcexCesca: I went back and actually read her app properly, and I think I agree with that. They wouldn't be good friends or anything, but I can totally see Ace being Cesca's fav roomie for the first few years at Hogwarts, and later second fav only to Alisha. Would be down for chatting about this.

CaseyxDelwyn: Womderful, let me know whenever you want it.

ClairexRivah: We did, they had lunch. And I'm pretty sure that thread mention's that they're buds. I would love to have a thread on them chasing down a vamp or something. Rivah is actually Wizengamot now, but she totally still spends time in her old Dept, and I could totally see her just jumping up and going "I got this one" before anyone who's job it actually is could do anything.

I also have two or three aurors but really haven't idea for specifically thread

About Elsie... Well, almost all of my characters are Death Eaters. I can offer you Audrey cause she was really into this and now she wants to try to come back to DE so they can help each other. Or Alessia, she is double agent loyal to DE, I mean, she would do anything in order to try to get some informations about her husband, even help one innocent girl to see why DE are so good

Then Lily. I have Echo who is potions maker too, so if she wants someone with who she could try new recipies, he's the right guy for her

and the last one, Kip.
I have Mia, she is student so if he's working at Hogwarts she will be glad to make him some trouble.

ClairexImogenxAurors - Could you send me info on the murder? That'd be really interesting. I think I'm going to start a group post soon for the entire Law Enforcement department, so please bring your Aurors!

Elsie - I actually have a plan for her now with Kitty, but we can definitely thread once she is a Death Eater.

LilyxEcho - Well Lily is currently working underground as a potioneer, but she used to work at a small potions shop in Knockturn. Maybe he commissions her every now and then to help with potions?

Kip - He's actually going to be moving to the new school soon.
