What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Lily looked around at her group, a solid group. The only new addition was Marguerite, the girl she was never able to fully escape.

They were all dressed as pirates. Lily's Lipizzaner horse, Cap, had been painted in war paint, his white coat painted with patterns of waves and anchors, swords, and skulls. She held tight to him, holding the sword in her right hand.

"Inferno is present," she said, referring to herself. Her eyes flicked between them all. Viola, Concave. Amelia, Pin. Hitame, Storm. Chad, Howl. Rise, Fang. Rudolph, Split. Marguerite, Toxin. "We stick with codenames. We all know the spell to create fire. We're not using fiendfyre, just regular. But we're knocking everything over, blowing everything up." She handed around the bags of Weasleys Wizard's Wheezes products, full of noisemakers, fireworks, swamps, everything to destroy.

"We're not killing," she warned. "We're redecorating."

She mounted Cap, and he pawed nervously. "Let's go."

She squeezed her heels together and Cap reared, whinnying madly, before tearing forward. Lily pointed her wand for the Satan's nightclub, blasting it with fire. She weilded her sword, slicing the handing banners that had been posted for the holidays.

This was war.

((PM me if you want to edit your codename.

This is open to everyone! As our little group of rogues are just beginning, I'd loooove if you let them get away with this xD Also, they are all heavily disguised as pirates currently, so there's no way they'd be recognize))

Marguerite adjusted her mask, and took a look down at her costume. Upon her search for an adequate pirate costume, Marguerite had been horrified to find hundreds of horrid garments the shop keepers had the gall to call a pirate outfit. She had never known a pirate to be sexual, nor to wear such garish colors. Marguerite would not be caught dead in any of the garments she had viewed in that holiday catalog...or, well, she just wouldn't be caught.

A few days prior, Marguerite had snuck away from Hogwarts to visit her vault in Gringott's to browse through her vast collection of garments. She had finally found a white frock and added the outer layer from another garment to make it look more like pirate clothing. She finished the look by finding an old hat from the days of the revolution, figuring it looked enough like the views of today on what a pirate should look like. She had stuffed the garments into a leather bag, so no one could see. She kept it hidden until the day she and the rest of this 'crew' were to carry out their attack on Knockturn Alley. Wouldn't do for someone to recognize the garment as hers, after all.

At Lily's command, Marguerite instantly dug into her bag of Wizard Wheezes and produced some Peruvian Instant Darkness Powder. Perfect. She threw it towards a group of wizards who were making their way towards the group, looking angry. That should hold them for a little bit. She stuck her hand back into the bag and snatched a portable swamp. She threw it at the entrance of Borgin & Burkes.

"Should keep people from shopping there for awhile..." she thought to herself as she ruffled through the bag for more items.

Amelia went off in her own direction. She reached into her tote bag and took out one of the many different colours of muggle spray-paint she had in her bag. It didn’t work at Hogwarts put it should work here. She found it the perfect slap in the face. Using muggle means to insult people who fallow the dark arts.

She began to spray words filth, losers and traitors on the outside walls of the alley. She hoped someone was watching her back because she couldn’t watch her back and spray at the same time. She wasn’t defenseless but she preferred not have to use physically violence.

Hitamé separated from the group as soon as Lily took off toward Satan's. She looked off in the distance at the end of the alley and she turned around, heading for the Artifictium. She pointed her wand at it and ran across the front shooting streams of fire from her wand. Watching the store's entrance light up from the fire, she smiled and took a quick glance around before she ran away from the shop, heading else where.

She stopped for a moment to adjust the mask on her face, as she felt it was sliding off. She quickly rummaged through the bag of Wizard Wheezes and she pulled out some fireworks that she was sure would do some good. She lit them and threw them at as many shops as she could hit. A few landed in front of the Artifictium, which added to the flames that were already there. Hitamé smiled again and giggled softly before moving on again.

Eulalia sometimes felt like she never slept. Even when the shop was closed, there was the occasional special delivery or discreet shopper who preferred to do business outside trading hours. However, that wasn't what kept her up tonight. Tonight, she was merely balancing the books.

The first noises from outside did not attract any special attention. Satan's was only across the way and people staggered in and out of there at all hours, and in all kinds of states. Those sounds were background noise and Eulalia automatically blocked it out now.

However, a series of loud cracks and bangs closer to home did prompt her to look up and the flickering light from outside the shop piqued her curiosity. Strange though it may seem, Knockturn Alley was not the sort of place to host night markets.

Eulalia wound her way through the shop to the front door and stepped outside to see what was happening only to find dark mud squelching up between her toes. Hmmmm.

Lily was not one to be slowed down. Cap galloped down the main street, and Lily spent the first half of the ride getting used to her sword, striking and slashing at banners, ribbons, merchandize, and the few people who rushed her in an attempt to stop her. No one would be killed by her sword, she was careful only to deliver blows that would injure or maim, but never kill. Lily was not a Death Eater after all.

At the end of the street, she quickly tugged the reins. Again, Cap reared, letting out a whinny. She tucked her sword into it's sheathe and pulled something from her bag. She threw it into the air and pointed her wand at it.

There was a BANG like a gun, and in bright, shining letters, the words 'The Keepers of Peace' exploded across the sky. They hung there, sparks erupting from them. There was another band, and flashes of color spiraled around the street, splattering the phrase 'The Peace Keepers' everywhere. It etched itself into stone and wood, painted itself across doors and windows.

Cap landed on all fours and began running again. Lily flattened herself over her stallion, pointing her wand at strategic points. Again, more flames were sent towards Satan's, but smaller merchants and vendors were being lit aflame too.

This would not be ignored.

Marguerite finally produced her wand, using it initially to prod the fireworks left within her bag so that they would go off. She threw the bag into the air and the Wildfire Whiz-Bangs exploded. Shocking-pink Catherine wheels, fire-breathing dragons, sparklers that spell out profanities, rockets with long tails of silver stars, and firecrackers ran into each other; some making new forms to terrorize the alley, and some rebounding off each other to spread the devastation.

Her bag now not only empty, but gone, Marguerite turned her wand to the buildings. Lily was taking good care of the fire, so Marguerite decided to do something a bit different. Waving her wand over her head, then flicking it at each individual building, she began to methodically change the colors. Satan's, Borgin & Burkes, and the Artificium each received a makeover; receiving different designs consisting of the colors gold and red.

((Kind of assuming those are the colors of the banner the Keepers of Peace would fly under. I can easily edit the post if the colors are different....do we even have colors? XD ))

It was obvious that people were starting to notice. If anyone didn't notice what was going on then they were really thick. She could hear some shop owners shouting and rushing out of the shops, trying to stop what was going on. She had never been so glad to be dressed up as ridiculously as she was before.

An older shop owner rushed toward her, trying to grab at the bag she still held in her hands. Hitamé managed to duck out of his grip and she pointed her wand at the space between her and the man, sending streams of fire in the space to keep him from getting any closer. Of course that wouldn't hold him forever, he did probably have his wand on him.

Seeing the Artifictium covered with flames, she exhaled in something like relief and Hitamé ducked out of the way of other shop owners and people who were starting to panic as they saw what happened. She grabbed small fireworks from the bag and threw them at the ground just a bit before the people's feet, causing them to jump back in fright and surprise.

Post by Sofie Elkin Tue Nov 27, 2012 9:25 pm

Sofie had just come out of a tea shop in Diagon Alley when she heard the commotion. People gathered in the streets to point and stare at the column of smoke that was rising and soon spreading across the sky. Sofie glanced around, appalled that no one seemed willing to actually go and help. Weren't these people the basically moral and upright of their society? Why were they letting people possibly die?

What bothered her more than anything, however, was that she found the smoke to be a surprise. If it wasn't the Death Eaters doing this, then... who could it be?

She pushed her way through the crowd and realized what was currently going up in flames. Her face paled, ever so slightly, and she immediately pressed upon her forearm, where the concealed Dark Mark burned.

Eulalia wiped her foot on the bottom of the doorjamb, scraping the mud off as she retreated inside. Not far inside, however. Not even far enough to close the door.

"Corbie," she called for the crow that habitually slept on the desk at the far end of the shop, causing customers to believe it was a stuffed specimen right up until it tried to taste their fingers.

The bird ruffled its feathers and cocked its head, opening one beady eye to peer at her suspiciously.

"Get down here ye' daft bird. There's sommat up."

With an air of reluctance, the crow took to the wing and swooped to the other end of the shop, landing on Eulalia's shoulder.

"Look," she pointed into the night just as the shop's facade was hit with a garish charm, making it look like a Gryffindor Barbershop. "Hooligans. Go make a meal of them."

She shrugged, dislodging the bird from her shoulder and leaned against the doorway to watch as he went to work.

_____________

Corbie the Crow's attack is by swooping on people and trying to scratch their eyeballs out. He also likes to bite fingers. However, he is pretty stupid and can be easily fooled. You all are welcome to npc him.
