Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Old books and old shop keepers Empty Old books and old shop keepers

Jaden wandered around Diagon Alley until he finally decided to go into Florish and Blotts. “Books,” He said smiling breathing in the smell of the old books. He ran his fingers across the spines as he walked past a shelf. He picked up a random book and sat down on the floor leaning against the wall as he opened the book and began to read. He tugged at the end of his button up shirt idly as he read not completely sure what he was doing. When he was reading it was like he went into a trance and all he knew was what the words said. It didn’t matter what type of book it was every book did the same thing to him. Though it was easy to pull him out of that trance.

Steely blue-grey eyes swept across the expanse of Flourish and Blott’s as the owner of said mercury orbs stepped over the threshold. With his bright blonde hair plaited down his back and a crisp white shirt hugging his gangly torso, a tie loosely hanging from his collar, Sevastian Luka Krum looked the picture of everything a Krum was meant to be. He’d not skipped on the sophistication though there was a casual air about him. A beautiful leather satchel hung off of a strap that sat across his shoulders, the contents of which was unknown even to him. It was bottomless and contained everything he’d ever need; though, in fashion typical of him, he was rather disorganised and so, therefore, was the satchel he so prized.

At the desk, one of the sales assistants was reading. Sevastian bit his lip and decided to dip into the shelves. He exhaled a breath of air he didn’t realise he’d been holding as he walked and wrung his hands together. Sevastian blew a piece of hair out of his eyes and slipped into a dustier part of the shop. Sevastian took a book off of the shelf and ran his long, ringed fingers down the plum-coloured spine. He smiled a little to himself and opened the book up. The smell of age hit his senses at once and Sevastian breathed in the beautiful smell. He exhaled contently and dropped his eyes to the page.

“Page one,” He said to himself.

Jaden looked up from the book when someone spoke he looked around and saw a blonde who at first he thought was a girl. It didn’t take him long to relize that the person he saw as a guy. “Did you say something?” Jaden asked standing up and closeing the book in his hand. It was one of Gildroy Lockhearts books. Not something that truly interested Jaden but he would read just about anything. He shrugged and put the book back on the shelf. He picked up another one a slight smile on his face. It was the Tales of Beatle the Bard. He had never seen a copy of the book but he had hurd and told the stories many times in his life. His mother had found that it inertained his brothers and himself, then he found it entertained his younger siblings.
