Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

"That's how you wanna play?" he said, as a flock of birds attacked and pecked him, "Get off of me" he said at the birds swatting away. The birds flew out of the open door, and Chad gritted his teeth, he was expecting minor spells, it was time to get his game on, "Furnunculus" he yelled.

This spell would piss her off he knew it. Who would like a spell which covers you in boils, no-one. "How do you like that?" he yelled, he still liked her, but this duel was now personal.

Amelia knew he was going to pay when the spell hit her in her left bicep. It wasn’t her dueling arm luckily. Now she was furious. She didn’t care what the spells did anymore. He had her past boiling point.

“Enough! I’m not playing games! You brought this on yourself!” she snarled. She was going to end this right now. The boils were hurting a lot but she refused to cry. She knew that she should get it taken care of right away but decided this duel was worth the pain. He was being arse so she had to bring him down a few notches just like she did at the Clock Tower.

“Petrificus Totalus!” she yelled out the venom in her voice could be poisonous. She hoped he enjoyed it. She would have been yelling profanities by now if this hadn’t been in class with a teacher nearby.

"Pertrificus Totalus" she screamed at him, the spell hit him square in the chest, and his whole body froze up, that cow!. How long did this last he thought, the more you wriggled the faster it came undone, he wriggled all though his body looked frozen to the eye.

His body cracked and he could move, "Langlock" he yelled, aiming at her mouth, the spell, sticks the victims tongue to the roof of their mouth. He had to knock her off her pedestal

Amelia was taken surprise by the spell. She shot the most furious glare she could come up with. She drew out her wand and tried to cast Stupefy wordless but it didn’t really work that well. It was just a wispy little thing. She was in pain and now unable to express it. She wasn’t sure if she was anger anymore or desperate.

She knew she couldn’t win anymore but she had made her point. She also knew by the look in her eyes even though she wouldn’t win she would at least make him feel guilty about it. That’s the thing about liking someone, you feel bad when you do something to make them hurt, emotionally or physically. She knew it would have been the same if the roles were reversed.

He looked at her, unable to see her in pain, and waved his wand, and murmured the spell to reverse the jinx. He dropped his wand and went over to her and hugged her, "I'm sorry" he said smiling, he was about to sniffle but held it in, he wouldn't show his weak side, not in front of his peers.

He looked into her eyes and smiled, he could melt into them.

She winced when he hugged her. Her left arm still hurt. So now the headache she had for several hours seemed like nothing anymore. She could have pushed him away if she wanted to but didn’t. “It’s a duel. It’s fine,” she said. She didn’t hold anything against him for it.

She turned bright red when they connected eyes. She didn’t know much about this romantic stuff. It was so foreign to her yet. She was learning though, slowly but surely.

She was sure she was tearing up now. The pain in hair plus her headache was killing her slowly. She knew if this pain didn’t let up she’d end up splitting her soul again, in the middle of class of all times.

"Oh sorry" he said, "Colovaria Brown" he said, hoping her ponytail would return to it's original colour. "Thanks for forgiving me" he said smiling, he knew it was a duel, but he shouldn't've gotten so tough, he knew it wasn't ok, to hurt women.

He sat down at his desk, and watched everyone else duel, hoping she'd sit next to him and talk.

After being returned to normal Amelia gathered her stuff and went to sit next to him. She smiled at him as she sat down. She didn’t have much to say that she hadn’t said before. She decided to sit back and watch the rest of the room. No harm in that.

She began to hum a random song she had stuck in her head. Then she stopped suddenly. It wasn’t a random song. It was the lullaby her mum used to sing to Claire when Claire was scared during a thunderstorm. She wondered what this meant. Surely, it was just accidental that it happened to be that lullaby. She had to admit there was so many unexplained things happening to her lately.

He listened to her hum and he hummed too, "What is it?" he said. He had picked up the tune after a while of her humming, and followed suit.
"What's wrong?" he said, when she stopped, "Is something wrong?'. He said while the others fought.

“It’s nothing important. My mind drifted off, nothing to get worked about,” Amelia said not really lying. She knew she had to get hold of her mum. Maybe the Astral Projection was making her more open to signs of what the future holds. She knew what the nightmare meant, did the song mean it was going to happen soon. She started to dissect the song. Then it hit her what the song was, it was Ring Around The Rosy. Then the line ‘ashes, ashes, we all fall down,’ chilled her to the bone. She knew this wasn’t a good sign. Did this mean Claire was just the start? She was terrified for her family.

She tried to brush it off but it wasn’t going away. She had a feeling she had to Knatt about this too. This was much bigger than just Claire, her family and herself. Her mum was so important to the wizarding community at the moment it would cause a lot of problems if she were to die. It was all making sense. Her family was clearly in danger. She swore from that second on to protect Drew no matter what, she had to make sure at least one male family member survives to carry the family name.
