ButterBeer for all!

Jack walked into the three Broomsticks, a grin on his face, a twinkle in his eyes, a piece of breakfast in his teeth, and a punching telescope in his hand. He just tricked some random wizard into looking through it, and he almost got reported for it. But it was joyful, so that was good enough. He sat down at the nearest table, regaining his breath before he ordered anything. He ran his hand through his hair, and looked around the pub.

Cecilia had come to the three broomsticks out of bodom she had been sitting at the table in the far back corner from the door watching it open and close when Jack came in. She smiled to her self slightly and giggled when he didn't notice her. she pulled her knees up to her her toes hanging off the edge of the chair as she watched him silently. he probably didn't remember her any way. she was most likely just a random girl that he once hung out with. though to Cecilia jack was an understanding guy and a friend.

Staring boredly around the place, he stood up, and looked around once more. His eyes spotted Cecilia, and they widened for a second. Jack decided to play a trick. He finished surveying the place, as if he hadn't seen her, He ordered two butterbeers, than strode out the place, after waiting about 5 minutes for someone else to enter, he cast a spell on himself, making him invisible, and quietly followed behind them. He silently strode behind Cecilia, holding the Butterbeer cups, and whispered 'Boo' in her ear right behind her. He grinned as he thought about her response.

Cecilia frounded as she watched Jack order two butterbeers and then leave. she just sat ther sadly watching the dor again at least when jack had been in there she had had something to look at. she sighed and then hurd someone speaking in her ear. jumping a little she turned to see who was there. "Jack is that you?" she asked seeing nothing but to flaoting butterbeers. she pushed her hair behind her ear. she took out her wand and casted a spell that would make him reapper again that is if she didn't miss.

Jack grinned as his figure reappeared in front of her. He laughed and set one of the butterbeers in fron of her, and sat down oppposite of her, setting his own butterbeer in front of him. He hadn't seen Cecilia in a while. He fiddled with his sleeves as he asked,

"Hey Ceci, what's up, I haven't seen you in forever. The exams have been taking everything up."

He said it quick and hurriedly, but his infamous smile was still everpresent. his cheeks were still red, whether it was from running away from the wizard or seeing Cecilia again, no one knew. He ran his hands thorugh his hair and waited for her answer.

"Hi Jack, and its not exactly the exams fault. its mostly mine. i haven't been around the castle much." Cecilia said pushing ht butter beer away from her. if she was going to drink something it'd bee something way stronger than that. "thanks," she whispered as she pushed it away. she held her knapsack close to her. she now never went anywhere without it. it held all the things she felt she could not live with out. this included her cigarette and a water bottle full of vodka. "how have you been?" she asked smiling slightly at him.

Jack took full notice of her reaction to the butterbeer and him and stuff. He worried, but tried not to show it. He wondered what was wrong, and if he could help.

"I've been fine. Pranking, detention, Being single, but I manage it all."

He said with a smirk. He hoped she took notice in the part about being single. He took a small sip of his butterbeer and watched her tightened grasp on the sack she held so close to her. He managed a smile, despite his worrying.

Cecilia smiled at him and giggled. "Sounds like fun," she said "well all but the being single part. she wondered how he could drink the butter beer. she had once loved it herself but now she perfered onther drinks over it. "Sorry I haven't been around school to hang out with you." she said, "i would have loved for you to teach me how to prank someone. I've tried once before but i'm not all to good at it. noticeing a strange look on his face she identified as a face full of worrie she reached across the table and placed her hand next to his, around her wrist was the hospitle bracelet. "Eli tried to make me stop cold turkey the doctor started giveing me certin amounts that slowly became smaller. now i'm fine. i just have to go back every once in a while." she whispered and slowly pulled her hand closer to her again untill it finaly fell into her lap under the table once more.

Jack's eyes widened.

"Are you sure your ok? Do you need me to escort you to the door, or to the Girls dormroom? Cause I can do that for you, if you want."

He tried making a joke about it, but he didn't think it would succeed. He watched her hand as it slid back down onto her lap, and he instantly regretted not grabbing onto it. He scratched his head and looked at her untouched butterbeer.

"If you don't want that I can get you something else if you want. I can sneak some Fire Whiskey or Treacle Tarts or something if you want."

"I'm Fine," Cecilia said her smile stretching across her face. she watched him quietly as he scratched his head "you don't have to get me anything else. Eli wants me to stop everything all at once but i was unable to do that she took the bottle of vodka out of her bag. "looks like water right?" she asked then put the bottle back. "I tend to prefer muggle drinks lately. they seem to be much easier to get ahold of." she looked around the pub for a minute or two then back at Jack and used her hands to brush the tangles out of her hair. even after an hour of brushing it she couldn't get all the tangles out. they always appears due to the curly-ness of her hair.
