Fuzzy Bear

It was at Hogsmeade where Jack was today. He was 18 now, a full adult. He left Hogwarts a year ago, to this date. He smiled warmly at the thought. He was now looking for a job. Maybe Zonko's would work. He had always had a love for pranks and practical jokes. Those would come in handy sometime. He walked into the Joke store, familiar with all the knick-knacks and chotchkee's on the colorful shelves. He scratched his goatee thoughtfully and grabbed a punching telescope.

Aurora still loved going to hogsmede. She remembered meeting Hugo there years before. Hogsmede had always been place that made Aurora relax. Since she was still in school she was just visiting for the day so there were many people around. A thought that she could buy some pranking things for hugo as a late aniversary present since she didnt remember the exact date they both had met.

Walking into Zonko's, Aurora looked around smiling. She hadnt been in the old joke shop since she lived back with her brother. Now the lived on her own she never really thought about it.

Looking at the telescope, and remembering his old one, that broke, he smiled. Than the cursed bell rang and broke into his memories like a wrecking ball. He looked up at the door, and saw a girl, who didn't look much younger than him. She looked farmiliar.. like someone from Hogwarts. He walked up to her and asked.

"Excuse me, can you tell me your name, miss?"

He asked politely and quietly, hoping she wouldn't be one of those chicks that are like, 'I'm gonna call the cops on you, Creeper.' and she would answer him. But than again, things never particularly went Jack's way...

Aurora didnt like the sound of the old bell ringing when the door had opened but she was kind of used to it. She looked around for a little bit but before she could even head in the direction a bo, or maybe a young adult by the looks of him, asked her if she could tell him her name. "Well. I can.." She said a little teasingly. "My name's Aurora. im about to be a 6th year in hogwarts next school year." Aurora looked at the thing is his hand suspiciously. "Whats that in your hand?

Jack's eyes widened as she spoke her name. He knew it! Aurora Nye! He hadn't spoken to her since Hogwarts! He supressed a grin and replied,

"Ah, My name is Jack Kubin, currently unemployed."

He waited for her reaction before continuing,

"And this, my friend," He held up the telescope, "Is a boxing telescope, quite handy when trying to trick your friends during astronomy, or, in my case, the teacher."

He grinned down at her, his face radiating.

"I can tell by how you look who you are. I just couldnt but a last name to your face. And also by the cheap looking clothes iI could tell you were unemployed." Aurora stated before looking around again. She sometimes worried her brother would find her even though she hadnt heard from him all year. "So. How's adulthood? Seems like you're still into the same lame jokes like you were the day we met." Even though she wasnt as depressed as she was before, Aurora didnt express her happiness of seeing him by smiling.

Jack looked at her, a bit worried. Did she not want to see him? Than he remembered how she had slight depression, and how she might still be going. He shook it off (Mentally, otherwise it'd look pretty wierd) and looked down at her and replied

"Honestly, Adulthood sucks. No one offers any jobs, and I live in an apartment in the human world. It's pretty bad. What about you? HOw's everything?"

He asked it nonchalantly, as if he didn't care about what he said.

"You're worried. I can tell by some of your thoughts." Arora said before he said a thing. "Everything is fine with me i guess. I live at my boyfriend's house and other friends houses over the summers and I havent seen my fake family in the past year so i think they've given up on me but you never know any more." Aurora said looking over at a rack of many things. "Want to hang out for a while? I have nothing to do while my boyfriend's out of town."

Jack looked at her, surprised. How did she know? He racked his brains on if Aurora ever told him that she could read minds. He couldnt remember anything. He ran his hand through his hair.

Uh, sure, where do you want to go while waiting?"
He asked, scratching his hairy chin. He wondered whether if she was phsychiv to..

"I never told you I could read minds because i didnt know for sure myself for a while. I thought I was going crazy but the more research i did the more i learned about myself." Aurora said answering his thoughts. "I dont try to listen to people sometimes and it happens on its own." She looked around for a bit before sayind, "Want to goto the leaky cauldron? He wont be back for a while so I just have the full day to kill of. It kind of sucks."
