Welcome to Potter's Army

And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Potter's Army- 2nd Meeting Empty Potter's Army- 2nd Meeting

Post by Jaquellene Jack Dyllan Thu Dec 09, 2010 5:14 am

Jack was early, as usual, though she sat on one of the random chairs that littered the room in case they ever needed one, drumming her fingers on her knee. The Marauder's Map sat on her other knee as she watched what seemed like a million thing at once. She watched the figures of professors and various authority figures, including the Imperium Squad, whilst her eyes sought out the members of Potter's Army.

Obviously, she worried for them. She doubted any of them held any fondness for herself, but she felt responsible for them and she was always relieved to see them walking down the halls. They were still fine... Unlike the kidnapped Slytherin, unlike Elijah who had been tortured. She put away the map. Times were getting dangerous.

Potter's Army- 2nd Meeting Empty Re: Potter's Army- 2nd Meeting

Post by Miseria Lupin Thu Dec 09, 2010 10:29 am

The second meeting. Miseria, who didn't listen much last time because she was busy with reading the books, was actually impressed that she got the invitation. Again. What will they do now? The Death Eaters, who were working here, were working so quietly that even the steps of mice were louder. She couldn't see any reason why should they practise some jinxes, not that they weren't good. They were, but what help would they give if an opponent is stronger?
But she decided to show up and entered the Room of requierments. It has been a very long time when they had a little action. Or when she Had a little action in her life. Though, shot by some bullets was fun as well.

"Hello, Jack," she said quietly while taking a seat on a comfortable chair which came out of nowhere for her. "I wonder what happened to the rest of the Potter's Army," the girl suddenly began talking. Miseria and Jack never were so called friends. It was more like working partners or something like that. "I mean Andrew, Nikki, Nick and the others." They couldn't disappear, now could they? And no one would ever kidnap them, right?

Louis walked through the door. He took at breath. He was thinking about the moon.
The moon. To look at it was romantic, It would be great to go up there. It was a story that a man was up in the moon and made a moon woman. He fell in love with her. But Alas, once he had run out of Oxygen and his Inhailer. Well he had to go back to earth and never to be seen again.

He looked at his friends. "Hi Jack, Miseria." He said. He notice Miseria saying something about where all the other kids where. "I was wondering the same thing." He said.

Potter's Army- 2nd Meeting Empty Re: Potter's Army- 2nd Meeting

Post by Lucy Weasley Thu Dec 09, 2010 10:54 pm

Lucy had her nose in the newspaper as she stepped into the RoR. They were still reporting on the Felix Barker case, and ever since the Ministry had taken Chase last Hogsmeade weekend, Lucy had been reading everything she could about it.

She threw the paper down on one of the chairs near Jack, but didn't sit herself.

"The confundus charm," she said. "If it was strong enough, it might give you enough time to get away from someone like him."

Potter's Army- 2nd Meeting Empty Re: Potter's Army- 2nd Meeting

Post by Brienne Ravenquist Fri Dec 10, 2010 3:48 am

The stone floor slabs made soft pittering sounds with every footstep. Brienne sighed as her steady run created a rhythmic sound that echoed coldly through the castle. Coldly, like her attitude. Daniel had been so bad to her that one day, she couldn't do a thing. Not without thinking about how lonely she was in the world. How cold people were to her. How she couldn't live much longer like this. She hoped that it wouldn't hurt for too much longer, otherwise she'd need to use drastic measures. Goodness knows what she'd mean by that. With the steady pitter pat of the cold floor below her, she reached the Room of Requirement. Her ears flattened to her head as she sat down, pondering the implications of having nothing to look forward to.

She sighed once more, and gripped her wand. Looking about, she felt a sigh wash over her once more. This was going to be tough. She'd need to cope and come to terms with it somehow.

Potter's Army- 2nd Meeting Empty Re: Potter's Army- 2nd Meeting

Post by Lily Potter1 Fri Dec 10, 2010 12:22 pm

Lily missed Potter's army, but due to her increased attempts to study and actually pass her subjects she hadn't had any time for the first meeting so she made a mental note to actually turn up to the second meeting. Mostly because she felt the whole Potter's army thing made her feelmore connected to her father.

Lily entered the room, a wide smile on her face. "Hey guys!" Lily grinned as she wiped back her fringe off her face. She tried to staypositive instead ofgloomyh about the state of things as they were currently. She tried to ignore the fact she was missing her brothers and mother. "Sorry about missing last meeting." Lily apologized as she sat down. She undid her hair, letting her red hair fly out in crazy curls as always.

Louis smiled as his two cousins came in. He agreed with the confundus charm. "Well we could always use Impedamenta as a back up spell." He said. He looked at the Felix Baker case on the newspaper. "Well then.... Anyone got anymore Ideas?" He asked.

He looked around that room. Surley one of thesse people had to have a Idea. They were all smart people well except for Lilly, Nah just kidding she was pretty smart. He wished he had Victoire here. Thats it! "Hey we could find out what the Orders planning. My sister is in the Order."

Potter's Army- 2nd Meeting Empty Re: Potter's Army- 2nd Meeting

Post by Miseria Lupin Sat Dec 11, 2010 6:06 pm

Miseria looked at Louis, who came soon after her into the Room of requierments. It was good that he was that active. He didn't miss any of the meetings which was always a good thing. When he said that he was wondering the same thing, she smiled at him. So she wasn't the only one who started thinking about the others.
But all of them could be busy with the school. She was older now, and a mother as well, and so was with the others (only non of them were parents). "Hi, Lucy, Brienne, Lily," she greeted everyone who entered in this room. Now she looked around once again.
If there will be another battle, how could they stand for themselves if there were only six students in Potter's Army?

Then she looked at Louis, and sighed quietly. "I didn't know that the Order is still active," she said in a low voice. She didn't actually know anything anymore. All this time, she felt more lost than ever. The time. It was running away from her.
But the Order... Did it even exist after the battle against the Death Eaters at Grimmauld's Place.

Potter's Army- 2nd Meeting Empty Re: Potter's Army- 2nd Meeting

Post by Jaquellene Jack Dyllan Mon Dec 13, 2010 5:22 am

Jack watched. Everyone had returned, it seemed, though Samuel was not here. She made a note to ask him about it when she next saw him. And Lily Potter had shown up. Jack nodded at her to greet her and then met everyone else's eyes to acknowledge that she saw them and was glad to see them, otherwise she was not much for pleasantries.

They were quick to begin discussing, and Jack was glad to see that Lucy was reading a newspaper. Someone had the intelligence to follow the news. Jack had been pouring over the paper to ensure she knew what was going on. Jack listened to them all discuss what they thought they should have work on now. Jack also had some questions to answer. They all settled and she cleared her throats.

"Hey, guys," she began. No need for formalities. There were six of them. She sighed and answered Miseria. "Potter's Army is dangerous to be in. There are Death Eater teachers. Some of the old members are more worried about their education, some have parents that forbid them, some are too scared, too busy, or really just don't care. It happens." She sighed. It particularly hurt her that Andrew had stop coming.

"And the Order is up and running." She knew this from Elliot who had been able to mention to her that he had joined the Order. "They are not telling us anything though. I'm working on it. I want us to be working with the Order. But, obviously, they don't care enough to let us know what is going on. So for now, we're on our own." It had been something that had been frustrating her. She planned to fix it though.

She leaned over and picked up the newspaper Lucy had set down and held it up. "Felix Barker. There are people like him we need to defend ourselves against. Lucy brought up the Confundus charm and has an excellent point. That's a great charm. We're actually going to start with that." She looked at Lucy and nodded her thank you, setting the newspaper down. "Thanks, Lucy." She looked back up at them.

"Imagine you are facing a dangerous foe. Most jinxes only temporarily distract them. The Confundus charm causes confusion, it can give you time to get away. So I want you to pair up and take turns. Cast the spell with the incantation Confundo. If it works, say Finite and they should recover. If something goes wrong, let me know. Hurry and get in pairs. Someone will be with me for awhile."

Leslie ran into the room of requirements breathing hard. Hey everyone! I hope I'm not to late!"said Leslie softly. "Sorry I didn't show up for the last one."said Leslie softly as she gotten out her wand and waited for Jack to tell them what to do. Jack nodded at Jack's stroy for she been reading the Daily Prophet every day keeping up with the stories. As Jack told them what they were doing today Leslie nodded and waited to be paired up with someone. Leslie was a fair dueler but she wasn't the best dueler out there but she wasn't the worse one out there.
