Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Potters Army Meeting Three Empty Potters Army Meeting Three

Post by Alexander Jones Thu Feb 21, 2013 2:05 pm

Alexander Jones had sent out the message to make it clear that there was a Potters Army meeting that day. The last Potter's Army meeting hadn't gone quite as how he hoped. So he set up a different exercise, but the same concept. So what he had set up, was that he had three trunks. One had mini mannequins that would turn into full sized Dementors, Boggarts, and a little special weapon of his, nifflers. Little rodent mice things that had giant snouts, and hunted treasure. They attack people wearing shiny things. So if any smart person came wearing Jewelery, you'd be bitten. And even if they didn't those things where creepy, and seeing them run around, might scare you. The point of this practice was not to take everything out. It was for one teammate to help another conquer their fear, help them, and more. He knew that there would be one motivated kid determined to take out everything, then thinking he won. But the real winner would be the one who helped his teammates. Because against death eaters, or dark followers, one person wouldn't be able to take everyone out. You'd win helping out your team.

Meanwhile he waited, he started thinking. He had lead the last Potter's Army session, was he good enough to be a leader? Was he even a leader? It didn't matter, they where all a team. And when the time came, they'd all be willing to die for each other. He crossed his arms, with his wand out. Wearing a shirt saying 'I Am Just A Rapper Wizard' and jeans, with red Nikes.

Potters Army Meeting Three Empty Re: Potters Army Meeting Three

Hitame bit her lower lip slight as she walked to the Room of Requirement with her sister. Neither one of the two said a word to the other and only continued to walk toward the meeting place of Potter's Army. Hitame honestly hadn't expected that Naomi would ever take an interest in being a part of the group, and then she'd found Naomi at one of the past meetings and she hadn't known how to react to it. Neither of them had brought it up afterwards either, it was strange and to be honest a bit awkward.

She'd always been the one who fought for everything and now her sister was in the group too and she was really disoriented by it. Naomi had changed.. a lot. A lot more than she had ever thought she would. First with what she had found out about Naomi with boys and everything. And now with Potter's Army. Hitame sighed, and glanced at her sister only to see her look away from her quickly. She raised an eyebrow and shook her head.

The two of them stopped at the doors to the Room of Requirement and Hitame looked at Naomi once more, She didn't say anything, only smiled at her sister and she pushed the doors open. The two of them stepped inside quickly and closed the door behind them. Naomi returned her smile once they were inside and stepped away from her. The Gryffindor looked around and only saw Alex there. "Hey Alex." she said, waving at him. Naomi waved at him as well, but didn't say a word.

Potters Army Meeting Three Empty Re: Potters Army Meeting Three

Post by Audrey Montague Fri Feb 22, 2013 9:46 pm

Audrey came into the Room of Requirements quietly. This was her first meeting with Potter's Army. She didn't know quite how to handle it. Gryffindors were hardly welcoming when they learned of her changed alliances, and if any Slytherin caught her here, her life would be over; Metaphorically, and seriously more likely than not. She stood at the back of the room by herself, because she didn't know anyone else who was already there. She had never been this quiet, let alone nervous; she took solace in the fact that she looked to be the oldest person there. She didn't recognize anyone else there as being in her year.

She looked around and started taking more interest in the people around her. There were two girls, probably sisters by their looks, and a boy, who seemed to be the leader, more or less. She was curious to who they were, but she made up her mind to stay in the back, at least for a while, since the last time she had tried to make "friends" with Gryffindors had turned out horribly. She kept her head up, and truly hope that this meeting might be different.

She sat down with her legs crossed, and decided to wait until more people arrived, or until someone here made it clear that they wanted to talk. Since it was her first real meeting, and she had the different circumstances, she decided it'd be best not to start out pushing any buttons.

Hitame looked at her sister when she felt a tug at her sleeve. Naomi nodded toward the girl who had entered the room after they had and she tried to think back to previous meetings, to see if she already knew the girl. She hadn't seen her before in any other meetings, not that she'd actually attended the previous ones much. Lately, she'd been too distracted to even show up, which was really bad for her.

She looked at the girl's robes and noticed that the Slytherin emblem was on it and she winced slightly. But she quickly regained herself. Potter's Army members were members, no matter what house they came from. She smiled and walked over toward the girl. Naomi watched her for a second before she also approached her behind Hitame.

"Hi, I'm Hitame Higurashi." she said as nicely as she possibly could. "This is my sister Naomi." she pointed to her sister who had taken a step forward from behind her. "You seem like you're new, what's your name?" she asked, trying to make some conversation.

Potters Army Meeting Three Empty Re: Potters Army Meeting Three

Audrey tensed when she saw the two girls coming to approach her. They seemed friendly enough, but she really didn't want any confrontation at her first meeting. After they started talking to her, Audrey relaxed.

"Is it that obvious?" she said laughing, letting a kind smile spread across her face. She was sure it was obvious how new she was, and that they didn't see Slytherins around here much, so she appreciated their kindness even more. "I'm Audrey. It's a pleasure." She opted to leave out her last name, to keep things as far from awkward as possible. She didn't know quite how much anyone here would know about her family, but her last name had been in the papers a few times, and she didn't want that sort of attention here.

"Is it always this empty at these meetings?" She asked, looking around the empty room. Audrey had expected to get here early, but she thought people would've been arriving by now. Not that she minded, it was just so different from what she expected and what she was used to.
