Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

My Life Is Over Empty My Life Is Over

Post by Roxanne Avery Weasley Sat Apr 14, 2012 2:24 am

Roxi’s life was over. She could not believe this. She had managed to ignore the flu- she had a vague suspicion that Spice had somehow muffled the symptoms. And the rash- well, it had been on her stomach and she had found a Ravenclaw who was happy to trade a bunch of potions for some cigarettes and Firewhiskey. The potions had kept it in place, sure, but it hadn’t spread. And then it had, and she took more and more and more and… nothing. It spread. She couldn’t take Spice because it had rolled under her dresser and she didn’t have the strength to lift it, not the ability to move it magically. She was starting to fail assignments. Her wand was malfunctioning or something. And now-

She was turning green.

She had a nightmare about being stuck on a rock in the middle of the desert and her skin was flaking off. She scratched and scratched and scratched and by the end of the dream, all of her skin had peeled off, and she was bright bubblegum pink. She awoke gasping for air and went to check her arms to see if they had actually turned pink. They had not. But there was a green tinge.

She ran to the hospital wing.

That had been two nights ago. None of her friends had been alerted and she was not sure if that was good or bad- on one hand, she did not want to worry them or have to think of an excuse. But the color was spreading every day and her limbs were now emerald green. She could not hide that from them. She was going to be ruined by this.

She felt like she could have died there.
