Magical Abilities Claim

Name: Jake Collins
Age: nineteen
Tier: N/A, though I think it's supposed to be Tier 4...
Ability Desired: Metamorphagus + Telepathy
A Detailed History Behind Said Ability:

Metamorphagus:
This ability is one that everyone in Jake's mother's side of the family has. His mother, grandmother, and even his great grandmother had this ability. His mother had never really told him about this ability that her family had, but only because he had never really shown any signs of having the ability to change his form. Well, not until he was around the age of seven almost eight. That was the first time he had shown signs of having it; when he accidently changed his appearance to that of his "hero". It was a young boy only about a year or two older than him, that he was watching on TV. His mother had left him in the living room to attend to his sister and he had been so focused on the show that he was watching, that when his mother came back into the room she didn't see him, instead she saw that other boy. She had frantically looked for Jake when she saw the appearance of that boy and he had only looked at her in confusion. His focus had broken and he turned back to his original form. Seeing the change back his mother decided to tell him about the ability.

Telepathy:
Telepathy is an ability that had always interested Jake. He learned about it around his fourth or fifth year in Hogwarts and ur decided that it was an ability he would like to have. He gathered any and all the information he could on the ability and he even asked others that actually had it for help in how to learn it. Not until his sixth year did he know that he was ready to learn the ability. He wasn't sure if a student or a Professor was best suited to teach him telepathy. But he thought that a Professor would be best and he asked one to teach him. It was difficult for him to learn this ability at first but after weeks maybe even months he began to get it. He progessed slowly and little by little he learned the ability more and more until it was strong enough for him to use correctly. After almost a year of practicing he finally learned the ability completely.

Hmmm.
Well, I have a question about the Metamorphagus, and that is what you plan on using it for? I'm all for giving it to you if you have something specific in mind, but if you're just having it for personal plotting and the sake of it, I'm inclined to say no.

As for telepathy. I'm gonna leave it to someone else, as I'm personally not altogether comfortable with having it as a power on this site, I'd prefer someone go for Legilimens, as it's a form of "mind reading" by which there are clearly defined limitations.

A Detailed History Behind Said Ability:

• MEMORY MANIPULATION
  
  When Matt was getting help for his drug addiction. He came across an older wizard in a similar situation as him. So they bonded and the older wizard said he would be able to teach him a very strong and powerful technique that would help him throughout his life; Memory Manipulation. Matt had nothing else to do because he wasn't sure that he was ready to go back to his former life so he figured he'd let the man humour himself. But this older wizard knew what he was doing and Matt took to this naturally. He had always had an interest in the mind so this was fascinating to him. And after Matt had gotten good to the point where the man could no longer teach him any more (cliche I know, shut up.). He had to continue on and train himself-and that's where he is now.
  
  
• WANDLESS MAGIC
  
  Bellatrix had been teaching him this on the side throughout his life. He isn't THAT good with it but he can do basic stuff and a few spells-not too many though.
  
  
• Selective Telepathy
  I don't have high hopes for this one :/
  
  Matt has formed strong bonds with many people over the years. Magic is an interesting thing and sometimes things just come naturally to people. So Matt can telepathically communicate with some of his closest friends of many years (You know who you are).

Ability Desired: Beginner in Leglimency + Animagus
A Detailed History Behind Said Ability:

Beginner in Leglimency
Leglimency is an ability that has always interested Atticus. Even though it is considered a dark act, he funds it very intriguing. There's just something about reading other's minds that fascinates him. But he knows that he shouldn't do it unless it's an emergency and even then it isn't a good idea to use it. Atticus first found out about this ability when he was around his fourth or fifth year in Hogwarts. One of his older friends had been talking about how his father had the ability and as he had been explaining how the ability worked, Atticus found himself more and not intrigued with every word he heard about the ability. It was something he definitely wanted to havr. So he began to study any and everything he could about the ability until he was finally old enough to be able to actually learn the ability. This was around the end of his sixth year, it had taken him a very ling time to learn how to use this ability and even now he isn't to good at it. It's very hard for him to remain concentrated enough to be able to read other's thoughts fully. So he is still practicing how to use the ability properly.

Animagus
An ability his father and several others he knows have. Around the time he learned about the Leglimency ability, Atticus also learned about the ability some had to change into an animal, commonly known as an Animagus. He'd heard about this ability from his father a few years before but he had forgotten about it until he began some research on the Leglimency ability. He'd come upon a few books about the Animagus ability and he'd also decided to learn to use thus ability as well. Though he'd asked his father to teach him how to do this because he thought who best to have as a teacher than your own father? After all he also had that ability, and he knew he'd learn best If his father taught him. So since his fourth or fifth year, his father taught him about the ability until one day during the end of his sixth year, he was able to finally become an animagus. His animagus is a Snow White Wolf. He was so glad that he'd been able to succeed after a few years of painful training and wanting to give up a few times.

With Leglimency I suggest you find someone IC that already has that ability and have he/she tutor Atticus. Athena is proficient in the art so I can be of help to you there if you'd like. Animagus looks fine! (:

A Detailed History Behind Said Ability: Marcus was always interested in a way that he could communicate with people without having to actually speak. He would rather communicate like that all of the time instead of using his "lip energy" to talk. Out of all of the situations that he's been in, this skill could really come in handy. If he talked at certain dangerous times, he would probably be killed.
