A Detailed History Behind Said Ability: Kasumi's mother is the one who has the speaking to animals ability. She discovered she had it when she was walking her dog Sadie one day. She was walking and Kasumi asked Sadie if she was tired yet and Sadie replied saying NOPE! Kasumi scared herself and jumped a mile...and that is when she realized she can talk to animals.

Empathy:

Ever since Yumi was a little girl she has had the ability to share the feelings of others. She's always been able to help others because she actually knows how they feel, even if she hasn't been through the same experience. She knows how to help others better with this ability, and now that she is training to become a healer, she believes that her ability to do this will come in handy for certain occasions. It will help her better understand anything the patient feels and she'll know how to help them better.

A Detailed History Behind Ability: Sasha has always had some talent for transfiguration, so it seemed like a natural step to try her hand at becoming an animagus. Becoming an animagus, however, is a very complicated and difficult task... This is not an ability that she excels at using, and she actually still needs her wand to make the initial transformation. She is registered with the Ministry, given that the penalty for not registering tends to be pretty steep.

A Detailed History Behind Said Ability:

Speaking to Animals:
Ever since Jayden was younger he had a special connection with animals. He'd always been able to communicate with them, even though he never really know it. Until he was around seven years old, that is. One day, the day before his sister followed him to his little secret campsite near their home, Jayden had been feeding a cat that had wandered into the camp. When the cat was about to leave, she did something caused Jayden to jump. She... talked to him. The cat had asked if she could come back later with her three kittens because they needed to eat something as well. Though he acted normal while he spoke to the cat, he was freaking out inside. Since then he's been talking to the animals he cares for at home so that he can get them exactly what they need or want.

Animagus:
When Jayden was a third year he heard about an ability that allowed some wizards to change into the form of an animal, an Animagus. The boy was immedately interested and he began to study the ability, hoping that some day he would be able to accomplish it. Two years of studying and training went by quickly for him and he's still not able to transform as well as he would have wanted. He can do it, but it strains him too much and he cannot keep the form for very long. So he is still working to perfect it.
(For this ability I was hoping to get someone to help Jayden learn the ability completely.)

A history behind said ability: Damon ever since he was a small kid learning about being a wizard he wanted to change into the form of an animal like his dad. His dad told him everything there was to know about turning into animagus form, all the work required to be able to learn how to do it. Then when Damon graduated from school he began studying how to have an animagus form. He worked really hard at doing this and ended up being able to have his wish come true. His animagus form was that of a Siberian Tiger which he thought was the best animagus he could have been.

A Detailed History Behind Said Ability:
Amelia learned this ability from her father because he was worried that the spell research he was doing and practicing with his daughter would be stolen by other researchers if Amelia's mind were not protected. Although this was the origin of her skill, Amelia tends to use her Occlumency more frequently to block people from knowing what she is thinking or feeling.
