A Detailed History Behind Said Ability: With the burdens of battle still weighing heavily on the hearts of those who had fought in the first Battle of Hogwarts, paranoia and lingering fear existed in abundance within Hogwarts. Those who had not taken part in the war that changed the wizard world were told of the brutality of the Death Eaters, and the terrible tragedies that had occurred during Voldemort's power. Thus, it had been an easy deduction on Lena's part, that occlumency would be of some importance in the future. With many a tale of the enemy being twenty steps ahead, it had seemed a natural path to follow to Lena - and Hogwarts' headmaster had obliged, due to Lena's exceptional marks and her determination. Within a year's time, Lena had mastered some essence of the skill. And after two years, occlumency had become second nature.

NOTE: Lena lacks significantly in compassion as a result of her past and present - and simply because of her nature. This aided her in the process of obtaining this ability.

A Detailed History Behind Said Ability:

Metamorphagus:
Damitrius first found out that she had this ability when she was about seven years old. She had been playing around with her older sister Alexis, and they decided to play hide and seek. A simple game to play when there was one person and you knew exactly where to find them. Damitrius knew that Alexis would find her easily if she didn't hide herself somehow. She thought hard about how to hide herself, and she saw her other sister, Lily, walking into their house. She became so focuses on Lily, that before she knew it, she started changing into her form. Then when Alexis found "Lily" in Damitrius' usual hiding spot, she became confused. Damitrius had no idea why she kept calling her Lily, until she saw her reflection in a mirror Alexis gave her.

A Detailed History Behind Said Ability: Excelling his Transfiguration O.W.L in the 5th grade, he wanted to go past his own limits, and convinced his transfiguration teacher to tell him about the basics of animagus transfiguration. It took him a long while just to get the theory part right, but when he passed on to the sixth grade he started training with his teacher's supervision, and when he finished 6th grade he could turn into an Animagus, a Snow Fox.

Ability Desired: Empathy
A Detailed History Behind Said Ability: Kai has always been particularly talented at being able to tell how people will interact, to a scary amount of accuracy. Saying he has a knack for reading people might be a bit of an understatement. Even without empathy, he would have a good sense of when to leave out the truth, or modify it. Empathy, for him, just seems to make it even easier. He isn't quite sure if he was born with it, or inherited it by some chance encounter, but he always thought it was a natural ability everyone had, and never thought to mention it to anyone. It wasn't until he went to Hogwarts that it was identified for him, and he still rarely mentions it, seeing it as one of his own personal secrets that isn't important for most individuals to be aware of. Not to mention, if they did know about it, he'd have to see past their wariness all the time to see the emotions he's more interested in.
