Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

A little bit of fresh air Empty A little bit of fresh air

Hitame had gotten bored of sitting in the Gryffindor common room and she had decided that she should go outside for a bit of fresh air. She grabbed her bag, some writing materials, and she left the common room. As she walked down to the path to the lake, Hitame was joined by her sister Naomi. "Where ya goin'?" Naomi asked her sister. "To the lake, where else?" Hitame answered her a little harshly. "I was only asking, geez." her sister said crossing her arms over her stomache. "I'm sorry Naomi. You know how I am sometimes." she said softly. "Yeah. Especially after everything happened." Naomi pointed out. "Yeah." Hitame said simply and they didn't talk the rest of the way to the lake.

When they got there Hitame and Naomi sat down under their usual tree and Naomi immediately took out her sketch pad. Hitame took out a notebook and began to write down lyrics for a new song she was writing. "You already have an idea for another song?" Naomi asked a little surprised. Hitame nodded and looked up from the notebook. "Yeah, I've been getting alot of inspiration lately." Hitame said with a smile. Naomi smiled and threw her arms around her sister's neck, causing them to fall over. "It's good to have you back." Naomi whipsered softly. Hitame laughed and hugged her sister back. "It's good to be back." she answered, as if she had been gone for a long time. Which she had been basically. Ever since her brother's accident and finding out that her parents were actually alive Hitame had been so depressed and she hadn't wanted to talk to anyone, no one at all. Of course Naomi didn't know that their parents were alive, only Hitame did. She thought that Hitame had been depressed because of their brother.

Hitame sighed and sat up after Naomi let go of her. She closed her eyes and felt the wind run past her, making her long dark hair gently flow up and run down her back and over her shoulders neatly. Hitame liked to let the air run through her hair, that was mostly why she liked to wear her hair down.

The stairs were to much. She couldn't take it anymore. People stared at her like they knew something was wrong with her, but couldn't put a finger on it. After putting up with the library, and her common room, a study room, and even an empty classroom, she got fed up and left the school, heading out onto the grounds with her bag slung over her shoulder, her scarf still tied securely around her neck, an odd accessory, seeing as it was freaking hot outside. The last day of heat before fall took over completely, and Rise was outside. She didn't like going outside, seeing as it kept reminding her of the Forbidden Forest, which was where she would spend her first full moon while at school in. It scared her, thinking of walking in there willingly before the transformation, knowing she would be so close to other people who even under the wolfsbane potion were still a danger to the werewolf. Rise didn't know how to act about it, and it scared her greatly.

Rise sat down heavily under a tree, staring at her feet, and then looking up at the lake. The Giant Squid was lazing in the warmer water towards the top of the lake, and was waving it's tentacles around in the air, cooling itself off as it let itself get warmer at the same time. Rise smiled slightly at the sight, and then looked up at the tree. It was her favorite tree, near the water, but not near enough that many people sat under it. Most people chose either further back to be away from the water, or closer to be nearer it, this one was right where no one wanted to sit, and she loved it. Rise carefully pulled out a book and decided to do some light reading, knowing that it would be beneficial to herself if she got some work done while she was in such a flighty mood. She hated feeling like this, but with the full moon coming up.. it scared her, and she knew she needed to be well rested and caught up with homework, which she had gotten in advance from many of her teachers, so she could take a couple of days away from school in order to rest up after her long nights outside.

A little bit of fresh air Empty Re: A little bit of fresh air

A sound came from Naomi's throat. A sound that Hitame had only heard once before when their parents were alive. It was a sound on happiness, a sound only Naomi could make. Hitame opened her eyes and looked over at Naomi, wondering why the sound was coming out now. She had not one idea why the sound was coming out now, after so long of it being gone. A smile crept onto Hitame's mouth, and she looked at the lake now. She didn't see Naomi look at her for a moment, and then look back down at her sketchpad, drawing the scenery near Hitame. She closed her eyes again, and let the wind run through her hair again.

She opened her eyes again, alerted by the sound of someone's feet moving on the grass. The Gryffindor turned her head a little to look at the person walking on the grass. Her eyes landed on a girl, who seemed older than her, wearing a... scarf? Hitame thought it weird for someone to be wearing a scarf when it was so hot outside, and her first thought was that the girl was hiding something. It was the only reason she could place on the fact that she was wearing a scarf. The young girl's eyes followed the older girl to the spot where she sat down close to the lake. Fearing that the girl would look back at them, Hitame's head immediately ducked down and she stared at the book in her lap, forgetting what she was writing. Feeling it was safe again, Hitame looked back up at the girl, feeling there was something different about her.

It was something that she had felt before, but it was somewhat different. She had only felt this once before. With her sixth year vampire friend. She felt there was something different about him, but she had been afraid to ask him directly, so she just worked around it, until he told her what he was. It wasn't a big surprise to her, and he saw that, and he knew that she would understand him because she understood what it was like to be picked on and bullied. Hitame continued to look at the girl, and now even Naomi was looking at her. "Why don't we go talk to her?" Naomi asked. "No, we don't know who... or what she is." Hitame told her sister. "What she is? What are you talking about?" Naomi asked, confused. "She's not human I can tell." Hitame stated simply. "And if anyone is going to talk to her, it's me... alone." she told Naomi. Naomi stared at her, and shrugged, as she usally did when Hitame said she would be doing something alone.
