Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Breath of Fresh Air Empty Breath of Fresh Air

St. Mungo's was hell.

That's as nice as Hitame could put it. It was hell, torture, and just about every other horrible thing she could think of. It was so horrible to be in there, and she actually felt like her life was being taken away from her in there. Not just that ... it was like her soul was slowly seeping away from her. She just hated hospitals that much. It was like seeing death and she hated that ... especially since she already knew what it was like to see death ... when her parents were killed as she and Naomi ran away from the men and woman who killed them.

Just remembering that day, and how well and happy it started out, send chills down her back. It just wasn't possible for that to happen, that was what she had thought so many times, but unfortunately for her ... it was possible and it had happened. A sunny summer day, everything is going so well and then ... it turns into a day of darkness and death for her. That just didn't make sense to her ... and then she found out what she was. She wasn't a muggle and neither was her sister. They were witches and not just muggleborns ... like they had been told after they discovered that they had magical powers. They were Purebloods ... that was what had failed to be processed by her mind.

Then she learned about everything that had happened with her biological parents and how she came into the hands of the Higurashi's along with her sister. Now she hated her parents and that was what made everything in St. Mungo's so much worse for her. She heard her dead parent's voices everywhere while she was sick ... and even now that she was better, she still heard their voices. That was proof that she wasn't right in the head anymore ... not that she ever was in the first place. Not since all that happened. Then she thought that she saw her biological parents in St. Mungo's too. But that was impossible, as ex - Death Eaters in hiding, they wouldn't have been able to visit their sick daughter in the hospital, unless they finally grew some and didn't care that they could get caught, as any normal parents would.

She didn't know if they were really there. And frankly she didn't care. She's never cared about them, just like they never cared about her. At least now that she was out of St. Mungo's she could finally get a breath of fresh air and she could get away from all those thoughts and hopefully the voices and hallucinations she kept having in there. And best of all, she wasn't fighting with Naomi over petty things anymore so they were going back to normal.

The two girls walked down Diagon Alley together, taking a look at the things inside a few shops as they did so. So far, there had only been one time that she had heard the voices since she left St. Mungo's a few hours ago. They were strong screams but Naomi had kept her from going into her mind to fight the screams, which usually only made them worse. Thanks to Naomi, they had gone away relatively quickly and they had been able to continue on walking like nothing happened. She was glad she had Naomi, the girl was pretty good at keeping her from falling deeper into the scream filled darkness of the depression she was suffering from.
