Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Truth Will Out - Page 2 Empty Re: Truth Will Out

Amelia found it hard not to giggle. It had been a long time since anyone called her babbling cute. She found it annoying but apparently Lance found it cute. The odd things people like about each other.

“You didn’t offend me; you’re just human after all. Your blushing is cute,” she said softly. She didn’t know why she was speaking so quietly but she was. It was just a habit you did in a library. She did find his blushing cute. It made him seem more human. Humans are imperfect and that is the way it should be. If someone is perfect then you have something to be worried about.

Lance only smiled at her for understanding him. Other people would leave him, and well never talk to him again after that. He sighed in relief as she spoke to him about him being human. Then blushed abit more when she said that his blush was cute. No one has ever told him that yet.

He turned his eyes back to her, meeting up with her eyes again. Smiling at her charmingly, she was a very beautiful. Kind, generous, and down to earth.....it was someone that he started to like without knowing. "...Amelia want to go do something? you know hang out together. "

Amelia found his eyes very intriguing and wondered what his personality was like. She had gotten a bit of charming side from him but what else was he like. He seemed like someone she could hang around and like not just tolerate. He didn’t seem like someone who was just going to forget about her existence.

“Sure, why not,” Amelia said smiling. She would never turn down the offer to hang out with new person. She wanted to get to know Lance, he seemed so interesting. She wanted to know more about him and spending time with him was the best way to learn about him.

Lance smiled even brighter as she said yes to his request. He stood up from the table and placed his books in his bag. Where there was endless space because of a charm that he placed on it. He stood on her side of the table, waiting for her to gather her things.

He knew that they had little options, but he wanted to take her outside the library. When a idea came into his head, he knew what they could do. " Then come on, I know what we can do " He extended his hand out to her for her to grasp it. They were heading to the courtyard.

Amelia took his hand without a second thought. She didn’t feel the need to ask where; she kind of wanted to be surprised. A lot could be learned by just going along with it; it was an exciting new adventure. She was excited to be leaving the library.

“Already then, I’m up for it,” said Amelia said jumping up picking up her small messenger bag slinging it over her shoulder. She made a quick glance at the table making sure she didn’t leave anything back. She didn’t seen anything so she turned to face Lance.

Lance felt warm spread through his hands once she grabbed it. She had taken a hold off it rather quickly with little to say. Not even asking where they were going, he wasn't going to tell her even if she asked. He started to make towards the exit of the library, then traveling down the hallway with her.

He took her down many different routes, before they finally made it outside in the courtyard. The whole front of the school was covered in snow and he loved it for the beautiful site this time of year. Walking farther into the snow, letting our shoes make imprints in the soft ground. " Have you ever played in the snow " He said to her with a smile.

Amelia was so confused while fallowing Lance around in strange twists and turn. She had lost her sense of directions so she had no choice but to trust Lance. What was life if you never took risks? Very, very boring that was certain.

“Of course I have, I’ve lived in Highlands until recently,” Amelia stated. She was used to the cold and snow. There was so much snow back in the Macmillan father, where her father was sitting at a fire all alone, she had wished she hadn’t brought that thought to her head. She missed her father but he was so difficult.

Lance nodded to her claim, expecting her to be happy. But she didn't seem that way at this moment at all. He clenched her hand with his own to reassure if anything was wrong. Trying to comfort her and play with her. " Then lets see if you can beat me in a snowball fight "

He said rather with a charming smile, letting go of her hand. Then scooping up a pile of snow into his hands and started to crumble it up into a ball. Watching if Amelia was doing the same, hoping she would enjoy herself.

Amelia looked down at his hand while it was holding hers. It felt so strange but so good and reassuring. It was an odd feeling but she liked it. She was just glad for once she was with someone who didn’t treat her like she weak because of what happened to her siblings. It felt like it had before that all went down this year

“You should know I’m the second youngest of four not including me. Two of them brothers so you better be prepared to be snowed,” she said with a slight laugh as she started to make snowballs. She ignored the fact that her gloves weren’t the best to be using to make snowballs since they kept sticking to the snow.

Lance liked her laugh, it was soft and feel like nothing was wrong. He finished his snow balls and waited for her to finish her own. Because he was a gentlemen, he wouldn't play unfairly just yet that is. " Well I can't wait to be snowed, if you win that is "

He said rather playfully, finishing up his last snowballs and got ready to throw the one in his hand. Gathering that she might be really good, of course he wasn't going to go down without a fight. He tossed the first snow ball at her with a soft throw.
