NEWT Lesson One

Professor Tiquelle had been making sure everything was ready for her first lesson back. She had been away for a couple of lessons the previous term, and was determined to make up for it and make sure that this term everything went a lot more smoothly.

Giving one last glance around the room, before she decided that she was ready. She went to open the door. There were still ten minutes before her lesson was due to begin, but some people might be early. She lived in hope. Divination was never one of the more popular subjects, but she quite liked a smaller class. It was a nicer learning environment, she felt, plus it meant that she got to know her students an awful lot better.

Professor Tiquelle then returned to her desk, to wait for her students to arrive. On the chalkboard behind her, she had magically drawn a palm with various lines marked on it and labelled them with letters as a starter activity to get her students thinking about Divination and see how much they knew about Palmistry.

Julia walked up the Divination tower for her first class. When she walked in, she noticed that she was the first student there. "Hello, Professor" She said, smiling as she found a seat in the front and sat down.

Mariana was out of her breath as usual after climbing 9 floors from the dungeons. "Good morning Professor Tiquelle." she said with hardly understandable voice as she sat on one of the pink pillows to catch her breath.

Roxanne entered the first divination class, hoping she wasn't late. As far as she knew, she wasn't sure if she had any seer skills at all. Anyways, she was still interested in Divination. "Good Morning professor," she said politely.

Professor Tiquelle saw her first three students arrive. All girls. That's...interesting. "Good morning, girls. Welcome to a new term of Divination. Whilst waiting for everyone else to arrive, see if you know any of the lines on the palm." she greeted and instructed the girls, waving her wand towards the board to indicate it.

Rose walked into the divinations calssroom and smiled warmly at Professor Tiquelle. "Good day Professor Tiquelle, I hope your well."said Rose smiling as she took her seat. As she gotten her stuff out for class she looked at the board and notice it was palm reading and smiled for she read about palm reading. As she got out a piece of parchment she started working on what was on the board looking up every now and then reading the lines. As she was doing her paper it looked like this.

B Is The Head Line-Life Line Connection
C..Is The Destiny Line
D.The heart line.
