Brief RP:
Luke was getting irritated he wasn’t getting a confession. He didn’t have all day. He needed this confession to close these case. He wanted to go home to his family and just get the report done with. There were so many budget cuts. He was dealing with Australia’s biggest twit criminal. He was sick of games. He stared down the criminal. Flashes of images. He had to focus on the scene he needed. Once he gotten the information he had. He felt a familiar pressure. He smirked, maybe this guy wasn’t as big as a twit as he thought. He took all his focus into blocking the criminal. He knew even if he forgot what he had just discovered he had the criminal right where he wanted him. He just tried to use leglimency against an officer while under arrest. They would at least be able to jail him for that.

Family History: Mary comes from a line of seers, some recognised whilst others not.Her Grandmother (Maddison Mist) was a notable seer and believed to have been 'trained' under Cassandra Trelawny. Of course Maddison's notability and fame never reached the heights that Trelawny's did but none the less she was good enough to have her own store in Diagon Alley where people used to venture to for a tea and tea leaf reading or a consult with the crystal ball. Mary's Mother, however, didn't show any signs of being a seer and so Maddison was slightly disappointed with her daughters lack of ability, meaning that when Mary showed signs out being a seer she took her under her wing.
Training: Mary has had no training so to speak owing to the fact it is something that she has no control over although she has had training her entire life in the field of Divinations. Her Grandmother opened a shop in Disgon Alley where people could go for a coffee and some sort of reading, whether it be a consult with the crystal ball or tea leaf reading. Mary practically grew up in the shop and when she had her first premonition and forsawn the eradication of an entire family, bar the Mother, her Grandmother kept her under her thumb knowing her granddaughter would have what it takes to be an accomplished seer and one day take over the family business. Upon leaving Hogwarts Mary continued to work in the family business of fortune telling and although not recognised to the extent her Grandmother was people who used to visit the store for a reading from Mary's Grandma still remained regular customers aware of her true ability as a seer seeing as so many are frauds. Of course she has now decided to leave this role behind and teach at Hogwarts.
Brief RP:
The lights faded as Mary's vision went in and out of focus. A humming sound gradually filled her ears until... Silence. Mary was empty, her mind blank while her body appeared rigid and her eye buldged in the candlelight that cast a somewhat spooky status to her face.
Speaking clearly but monotonous words began to jab from her mouth:
An old enemy passes by, she will enter into the house without a knocking or ringing of a bell. Intrusion will overcome the surprise and a relic rivalry will be revived once more.
For a moment Mary stirred as her face softened, returning to the round bubble it usually was. Her throat felt horsh and her fingers were still trembling. She knew, she didn't know what she'd forsawn but Mary was aware that she had predicted. The amount of times that the seer has made a prophecy and been greeted by a confused, frightened face and trembling fingers. She knew she made one and the thought that-

No Mary, there's no need to get upset. She thought to herself as a lump gathered in the back of her throat, which in turn caused her lip to tremble and... Once again Mary was in tears as she always was whenever she'd predicted. It wasn't that she hated the feeling afterwards, nor the way the person witnessing gave her an are-you-mad look but the fact she couldn't remember. She could never remember. Oh, and the fact that her eyeliner had now run wasn't helping matters as she caught sight of her reflection.

Family History:
The females of her mother's line have been able to speak with some form of insect for as long as any of them can remember. Her mother can communicate with honeybees, while her grandmother could speak to wasps.
Training:
As a young girl, Marie had a habit of running after any insect she saw and attempting to talk to it. It wasn't until she was fifteen, and had long ago given up chasing bugs, that she first understood a butterfly. Marie had been delighted that she had indeed gotten the ability, despite butterfly communication being far less useful than her great-grandmother's ability to speak with spiders. The girl had run to her mother right away, and spent the next few years honing her talent to perfection.  
Brief RP: Marie smiled as she walked through the gardens of her family home in France. It was a sunny day in mid-April, and the sun reflected almost blindingly off of the petals of the bright flowers. The witch let out a contented sigh, thoroughly enjoying the fresh air.
 
Gracefully seating herself down on a conveniently located bench, Marie closed her eyes and just enjoyed the rays of sun soaking into her skin. It had been a long winter. When the woman's eyes finally fluttered open, she couldn't help but smile. A small blue butterfly had landed upon her arm without Marie even noticing its presence. It wasn't a magical variety, so it probably wouldn't be intelligent enough for her to have a full conversation with, but Marie tried all the same.
 
"Greetings," Marie communicated, being carefully not to scare the creature off.
 
"Flowers. Nectar. Colors," the little butterfly appeared to respond. Or at least, that was all Marie understood of it. It was a pity that she wasn't able to converse properly with non-magical butterflies, but their brains really were no larger than a speck, so it wasn't exactly surprising.

RJ,  I have no issues accepting Mary as a seer, but she is a bit overpowered, I'm thinking. Just a bit. Trelawny was revered b/c of her famous and accurate predictions/prophesies about Voldemort.  Can you bring that down a bit, please?
