Breakfast Club Empty Breakfast Club

Post by Brian Sullivan Tue Apr 30, 2013 5:17 am

Brian yawned as he walked into the detention room...... again. He was pretty sure he had gotten away with his little firecracker fiasco in the dungeons, but a few hours after his little talk with that Slytherin girl, in came marching the prefects and the professors. They did not find his revenge story all that intriguing and they did not connect with any of the characters, especially himself, which was weird because he was pretty sure he played himself up as the hero. Which, he was, those Slytherin's deserved it for picking on first years. That's what they get when they mess with Gryffindor, Brian was ruthless, at least in his own head.

He lugged his backpack onto a desk in the back and he plopped himself down. It was just him in the detention room, which wasn't strange, he was there by himself a lot actually. Enough to where the professors who were responsible for giving him detention would often let him leave early or just let him sleep. They really did not care what he did, and as long as he was quiet, they pretty much left him alone.

"Just me tonight then?"

"Nope, one more, be quiet Mr. Sullivan."

"Who is gracing my detention room tonight?"

"Enough Brian."

Brian rolled his eyes and he kept his attention focused on the door. Oh he hoped it was a girl, and not one of those ugly ones, he hoped she was good looking so he could have something to look at for the next hour. Heck, the professor who was watching over him was notorious for falling asleep, he could probably do a little talking and come away with a date or something. He never knew anymore, he just went with it, and he lived in his own little fantasy world where everything went his way all the time.

Henri was fortunate enough to be dressed like a delinquent when she was dragged into detention. It had been a last minute thing. Henri was pretty good at avoiding detention, but she had happened to be caught smoking by the Herbology professor after lunch, and had been informed that "Lucky for you, young lady, there's a detention session today that I'm sure you'll be kind enough to attend later tonight."

Of course Henri would be there. She could not let down her audience. And it was, you know, mandatory.

So she flounced off to detention, waving off the advances of several girls who all wanted some sort of advice or help, or simply wanted to hang out with her. Henri did have this draw to females - or rather, they were drawn to her. Girls loved what was the most destructive to them.

Henri stepped into the room, and looked about, slowly taking off her glasses. "I suppose this is the detention room," she said breathily, drawing attention to her American accent. Her eyes fell upon the other occupant, a boy about her age. Her lips curled into a smile. "Oh, goody. Company."

Brian perked up when he saw the female come into the room, and his attention was multiplied when he heard her American accent, he had only ever spoken to one other American in his life so he was instantly attracted to the girl. He had a thing for accents, American and Australian, so she was instantly put into his cross hairs. She was also in detention, so she was probably not a goody goody, his favorite.

"And good company at that." Brian piped up when she walked into the room. He made sure to obviously glance her over, he was not shy about it, he wanted her to know he was looking. "You're American?" He questioned, rather quietly as she approached, he did not want to get the professor involved. "I am a sucker for American girls. So try not to take advantage of me, alright?"

The boy was giving her a full, open up-down which either meant he was A) Overconfident and sure she would be flattered, B) Stupid and thought she would not notice, or C) Just a big goober anyway. She was curious to find out which. She did not hesitate under his gaze but walked with a studied confidence and took a seat at the desk two seats behind him, which meant he would have to turn around to see her.

She smiled a coy smile at his question and answered in the affirmative. "Born and raised in the U.S. of A." Sounded like a country song.

The boy was practically forking over any power he had for himself and setting it down at her feet. She continued to smile an innocent smile, though a malicious spark had been lighted from within. She leaned forward, trapping her breasts between her arms as she dipped her head. "I wouldn't think of it."

She sat back, beginning to play with a strand of hair. "So," she began, a sense of boredom in her tone. "Why are you in here?"

She knew what she was doing and Brian loved it. Very rarely he got to flirt with girls who would flirt back. They either knew that he was always flirting with anything that moved or they found him to be a bit of an annoying fellow. Either way, this girl seemed to be enjoying it, oh he was going to have fun with her. She sat behind him, and he did not hesitate, he instantly spun around and propped his head up with his hands as she spoke.

"I was accused of throwing in some special fireworks into a Slytherin study hall." He was proud of himself, it showed, but he rarely received any kind of recognition for his work. Most people thought he was immature, but really, it was vengeance. "The fireworks may or may not have had hallucinogenic side effects, I wouldn't know, I didn't stay around to see."

He glanced back at the professor who was nose deep in his book, sweet, they were home free. He would be out before they knew it. He could probably convince the girl to sneak out with him if he did. "What about you?"

Her evil heart was concocting a very mean thing indeed, and yet her expression showed only the blooming cheeks of a young school girl. Obviously, her get-up looked anything but innocent, but her eyes played it off well. That was her biggest weapon. Since her eyes were naturally devoid of real emotion, she was never betrayed by them. She could fabricate whatever she wished for those around her.

"Fireworks?" she repeated, her voice light and giggly, as though she were very impressed with his accomplishment. She did like anything to do with fire, in truth, and still had plans to set the Herbology Greenhouses on fire as she had done at her last school. "That's sooo cool."

He asked about her and she guessed he was assuming it had to do with tardiness or something along that thread. She giggled and put a hand to her mouth, moving it to say, "I killed a second year. I'm not in trouble because they thought it was accidental." She giggled again, as though she had just admitted she had a crush or something. But there was no laughter to imply that she was kidding or lying.

The poor kid.

Wow she was eating it all up, this was too easy, she was giggling and enjoying the reasons he was in detention. He had this one in the bag, and they had just met, either she was really slutty or really stupid. Either way, it worked in his favor. "If you think that is cool you should see some of the stuff I have planned. Much bigger than fireworks in the study rooms." Lie.

She said she killed a second year, his smile vanished and turned to a look of confusion, that was obviously untrue. "You wouldn't lie to me, now, would you?" Obviously she was, but he wondered what she really did, he could not peg the girl. She seemed interested in him but he could not tell if it was real or fake, but he went with his gut and the better option, it had to be real.

"You don't seem like the murderous type, more of a adventurous fun type, which happens to be my favorite. So really, what did you do? Skip a class, call another girl a whore for stealing your boyfriend, or were you the whore who stole the boyfriend?"

He was thrown, but he was not ready to believe that a giggly fourth year willing to give him a look at her cleavage was capable of any sort of real malice. She shook her head, smiling earnestly. "I wouldn't lie. I believe lying is the worst sin. It's very wrong - I'm always very, very honest." She smiled.

Oh boy, his words irritated her. She didn't mind being called a whore if someone knew she had the actions to back it up. He didn't know anything about her though. And to think sipping a class was all, or that she would be the type of girl to be cheated on. No. Who would pass all this up?

She giggled and waved a hand, beginning as though she were telling the story if a quaint coincidence. "No, it was funny. But the girl was really irritating me, so I pushed her down a staircase. There wasn't anyone in the paintings at the time, so I told them she tripped and I got in trouble for not reporting it immediately."

Brian was a sucker for good looks, and even more of a sucker for a girl that would pay him any attention, but he just knew she was lying. He would have heard about something like that if it did happen. But he wondered why it was she was lying, did she do something foolish to get put into detention, he did not know and he probably wouldn't know because she seemed to want to hide it.

Either way, he did not want to lose this girls interest, so he went along with it. "I don't have a problem with sinners, in fact, I kind of like to sin every now and again." He was referring to sexual sinning, of course, what else would he be talking about? The trials and tribulations of a fifteen year old boy were that of legend.

"Remind me to never annoy you." He did not believe her, but he also really didn't care what she did, the fact was she was there now. "So you push people down the stairs cause they annoy you, you're from America, and you enjoy pranks. So when do we go out for some fun?"

She imagined he was still hoping she was lying, but she also felt that, if she kept up this psychopath act, he may actually believe she was a murderer. Which would be golden, because it was really obvious that he was hoping to get in her pants, and nothing frustrated a guy more then wanting to hook up with a girl that was obviously too crazy to really be worth the risk.

And Henri liked to think she redefined crazy.

She smiled. "That's wonderful. My ex couldn't stand the heat. It's nice to see a guy who can." She let out a sigh. "He dumped me after the stair incident. Just because it was his sister. Now he's swearing revenge or something - Slytherins, am I right?" She chuckled and shook her head.

So when do we go out for some fun? She pondered it a second and glanced at the professor. "Mmmm... Now!" she said, and she stood up and ran out of the room, leaving the boy to escape from the professor.
