Julia's New Home

Julia was sitting in her new bedroom in her incredibly conceited-looking home. Her family decided to move from their smaller home, to a new larger one. Ever since the potato demand rose, the company was bringing in a larger income, now they could afford a gorgeous home like this one. No, it wasn't a home, it was a mansion. A beautiful mansion, that she could only imagine seeing in reality shows when celebrities would give tours of their homes.

There was, however, something missing about the home. And it wasn't the fact that Julia's parents were never there with her, which actually made her feel like it was her own home, but it was someone else to enjoy it with. She knew exactly the people she wanted to share her house with: Sophia, Eli, Jamie, Christy, Zakk, Arthur... Arthur. Her thoughts immediately came to a halt as she said his name internally- at least she was sure it was internally, her day was in such a fog that she couldn't even remember. But she did know that it had been a long time since she even caught a glance at her partner. They were both always so busy, but lately it had been taking a toll on Julia. She missed him dearly and hoped that they would meet again soon.

Julia loved Arthur dearly; he was amazing to her, such a gentleman. He always listened to her babble her usual nonsense, and usually babbled nonsense right back. She was honestly surprised he was lasting so long, after a while, Julia could get annoying. She was glad their flame was still burning strong, because she could never get enough of him. She loved being with him, and was so grateful to say that she was his partner.

Julia looked out her bedroom window, up at the milky twilight, and hoped someone would come to distract her from her daze.

Why was he here? He always seemed to end up in the wrong places around these suburban areas... it just happened - he never knew why, exactly. Always these big houses, heavily decorated with large gardens - the sheer opposite of his Victorian-style flat in London. He lives in Baker Street an he liked it... small, comfy and very.... "londonish"... these mansions and houses never got to him. Strolling around... well, he should have headed back... he only needed to find a good spot for apparating... he looked around and saw a familiar place on a window... it was Julia... He looked at the window, strangely... trying to decipher what she was doing...

Julia was daydreaming about random things, most of them surrounding Arthur, but she stopped when she actually saw Arthur standing outside her house. She shook her head, she must have been daydreaming again, then rubbed her eyes until she realized, that it really was Arthur. How had he gotten there? How did he figure out where she lived? But that didn't matter, he was there, and a smile spread across Julia's face. She rushed downstairs, wearing her pajama shorts and a long sleeved top, to greet him. "Arthur!" She cried out as she made her way across her wet lawn. "Oh my gosh! I've missed you so much!" She jumped on him, hugging him tightly and kissing him fiercely. She definitely missed this. The smell of his skin against hers, the feeling of his soft hair between her fingers, she didn't want to let him go. "Would you like to come in?" She asked, holding his hands with a grin.

This was... pleasant and unexpected, both at the same time. He could not remember if anyone was that happy to see him. He held her and kissed her back. ''Now, isn't this a surprise! We do meet at the strangest places.... weren't you living somewhere else?'', he wondered. He looked at the new house, larger then the one before... and in a completely different spot. ''Well... it is getting dark... it all depends on how long you are planning on... keeping me'', he said, insecurely.

Julia still had her arms wrapped around him, kissing his hands with a grin. "I was living somewhere else, but we moved over the summer" The summer was empty without Arthur, the two hadn't been together since a little after his graduation, leaving the summer with nothing to do. "I missed you too much, did I mention that already? We haven't seen each other in what feels like forever, but you're here now, and everything's better, and I'm so happy!" Julia went on, stopping short when she realized she was babbling, blushing when she did. "Um... well it really depends on how long you want to stay. You can stay for as long as you'd like, my parents aren't home, and they won't be for a while. They're on a business trip." She added. This meant that they could be together for as long as they'd like; the night could never end.

Julia took Arthur's hand and led him in her house, through the large foyer and up to the second story to her bedroom. "This is my room" She said, looking around, "I know: it's overly conceited, just like the rest of the house, but it's cozy" She said, laying on her bed and scooting over so Arthur could sit with her.

Arthur followed her around the House, scanning each part of it as best as he could by just looking at it. Again... it was too big and too modern for his Victorian taste. His Baker Street apartment was truly the opposite.

''It is cozy... but still, as I have said, I think, I prefer Victorian decoration... my apartment is fully Victorian and you have a feeling of being in another time and space when you enter it. It does make it more enjoyable'', he replied. He sat around her, embracing her around the waist. ''And now... the eternal question... do you have something planned? Now that we have the whole house to ourselves'', he said, with a laugh.

Julia watched Arthur as he looked about her house, taking it all in. It certainly could be a lot to handle if you weren't used to it, she was still warming up to her home. The decoration of the house was entirely her mother's idea, she didn't really mind it, as long as she got a say in her bedroom and bathroom. She saw the same bedroom as her own in a magazine and loved it, which is where she got her inspiration. She loved the elegant-modern style, and it looked great.

"I'm sure your house is cozier than mine; speaking of which, I still have never been to your apartment, I'll have to visit soon" said Julia. "Well that depends... what did you have in mind?" she giggled, putting her arms atop of Arthur's and kissing his neck. She could already tell that it was going to be a great night. "We can do anything, no one's stopping us" She smiled.

Earth's sunsets were something beautiful, even for a demon like him. He had the habit, even then, to just sit, or fly in this case, and watch what happens during the sunset. All those colors, the scenery, the reflection of it all - it was just a rather pleasant sight to see.

Currently, he was flying above a small suburban town, looking at the Houses and scanning for the prey he had enjoyed the most. Surely there had to be some group, or pair, of children he could watch or explore. And communicate with. Most of the time he ignored the task he had been given, doing his missions purely for his own pleasure, giving brief and misty reports to the Chief. Being a loner, even amongst the freaks he had landed, had its advantages and he was the one to use them.

He descended a little and scanned through the windows. Soon, he discovered a pair. The boy noticed him. Amazement! He looked around and landed, making the flames that had been crated disappear. He decreased his size and approached the door. He knocked on them!

He kissed Julia back, enjoying her touches, her gentle skin and her kisses. It was a truly pleasurable moment. But then, what was that on the window. He stretched his long and thin neck, mimicking a turtle, and observed a hooded figure flying in front of Julia's window. It had horns and wings. Now, what was that? An illusion, a prank? Its eyes narrowed, as if he was smiling, and then want further down. Was he gone? A knock! ''I think there's someone at the door! And I would be careful! Do you want me to do? I think it is something we should try and evade'', he said.

Julia smiled against Arthur's skin, enjoying every moment of this, remembering how much she missed it. Soon enough, she noticed Arthur's eyes narrowed toward her window, he seemed, worried? She couldn't tell his emotions, as he seemed to be covering them up. She quickly glanced over at where he was looking and saw nothing, but she was sure she saw a quick flash of something red, though she was sure it was only her imagination. She let it go and wrapped her arms around Arthur again, but stopped once she heard something coming from downstairs, it sounded like a knock on the front door. Julia swallowed hard and looked at him, "Um... well, I just won't answer the door, then" She said, "It will probably leave after a while"
