Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

"Really jonathan? You'd rather practice school work than make out with your girlfriend? You are such a ravenclaw." She smirked and shook her head before pulling her wand out of her jacket pocket..it was mahogany wood, phoenix feather, 10" and relatively flexible. It had ivy engravings going down the handle which formed into a rose at the base. "What do you want to practice?" She asked slightly annoyed. But magic made him happy. Which made her happy.

"What?" Jonathan protested, shrugging his shoulders. "Magic can be just as fun if you put your mind to it!" He couldn't understand why Sierra wouldn't enjoy magic when she was attenting Hogwarts. They both were born with this unique gift, so why not take advantage of it and sharpen their skills? He smirked at Sierra then raised up his wand. "Why don't we try something easy first?" He tapped one of the small teacups on the table with his wand and watched as it began to rise into the air. The levitation charm was an easy 1st year spell, so he could easily cast it with out muttering the words aloud. "See? Nothing too difficult." Jonathan tapped the teapot and consentrated carefully as it went up into the air as well. With a careful twist of his wand, he was able to pour tea into the little tea cup, and with a flick of his wand, the tea cup flew over to Sierra.

“I am aware of just how fun magic can be, Jonathan. Id just rather kiss my boyfriend. But that’s just me.” She said sarcastically and rather snippily. She knew he would be hurt by her attitude and tone. But she didn’t care at the moment. She was hurt by the fact he refused to kiss her for the last two days. She smiled as he poured her a cup of tea and sent it to her all by magic. “Impressive.” She did the same spell and sent a cup of tea over to him. “Im actually rather bored here. Lets head over to Hogsmeade.”

Jonathan sighed and shoved his wand back into his pocket, clearly picking up Sierra's bitter attitude. Was it really that painful for them to do something besides kissing each other all day? Yes, he loved her and her affection very much, but he didn't want that to be all they did. Did Sierra not like magic at all? The idea only raised his suspicious as to why she would even be at this magic school if she didn't like magic to begin with. He took the cup of tea in his hands and took a quick sip of it before placing it down on the table. "Fine," he answered in a calm voice. Jonathan walked out the tea shop ahead of Sierra and started up the path to Hogsmeades. He eventually slowed down slightly so she could catch up, be remained silent for the moment.

Sierra ran up to him and grabbed his hand in hers. "I'm sorry jonathan. I really am. Can you forgive me?" She met his eyes with her green ones. She walked along side him up to hogsmeade and looked into the windows of a few shops. She saw some quills and remembered she needed some new ones. "Jonathan can we go.in here?" She nodded toward the quill and ink shop. Sierra also needed parchment, envelopes and some owl treats for Lyssa, her owl.

Jonathan looked over at Sierra, staring into her eyes with slight hesitation. "Yeah, it's fine," he answered. "Don't worry about it." He forced a smile and held her hand tightly as they went up the path. Jonathan allowed Sierra to lead as they arrived to Hogsmeades since he didn't really know what he would want to do around her anyhow. The place wasn't as huge as Diagon Alley where there were other things to do besides sitting down somewhere and eating. Jonathan looked over at Sierra then shift his gaze to the small supply shop she was just asking about. "Yeah, sure," he said. "Why not?"

"Thanks baby." She held jonathans hand as she walked into the little shop. She gathered the things she needed and purchased them. She smiled at jonathan and rejoined him. "Where to now, cutie?" She nudged his hip with hers and rested her head on his shoulder. She loved being with him. Who cares if they were kissing or not? She just wanted to be with him. She smiled up at him and her eyes sparkled

Jonathan waited outside patiently while Sierra went into the small shop to go purchase whatever it was she needed. It wasn't too long before she came back to rejoin him and they continued walking down the cobble streets of the small village. Jonathan mumbled a low "ow," under his breath when Sierra nudged him. He really needed to get some more muscle. "I'm not too sure to be quite honest," the boy answered. "There's not much else to do around here."

“Im sorry. Did I hurt you?” She heard him mumble under his breath and was worried she may have injured him. Things had been sort of awkward lately between the two of them, what with her wanting to kiss him all the time. She realized relationships worked both ways. You had to give to receive.

“You’re right… At least it’s almost summer break. We will have a bunch of new places to explore together, yeah?” She smiled up at him and gave his hand another soft squeeze. She squeezed it 3 times. Her mother had told her that that meant ‘I love you’.

"No, no, it's fine," he reassured her. Jonathan gave her a nervous smile. How embarassing! Didn't people find it super weird if their boyfriends were weak than them? Aren't boys suppose to be tough? Jonathan narrowed his eyes forward. He didn't like being weak, it always allowed everyone to walk over him. But at least what he lack in strength, he made up in knowledge.

Jonathan followed along Sierra as they continued to wonder around aimlessly. "Yes, I'm sure we will," he answered. Jonathan didn't go much places during the summer, but his dad usually travel around on business during that time. Jonathan wonder after introducing Sierra to him, would he allow them to tag along. The idea brought up something to Jonathan. "If you don't mind me asking, what do you parents do for a living?"
