Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Trying to study Empty Trying to study

Post by Daniel Madison Mon Feb 25, 2013 11:28 pm

Carly had a big test coming up in her charms class. She tried to find a quiet place to study, but couldn't. The common room was to noisy, the Great Hall was noisy, and the study room had too many people in it. She was just to picky for her own good. Soon she decided to go to the Library where not many people were. She walked slowly to the brown wooden table and gently laid her books on it. She finally started to study when some boys walked in the room and pointed at her. It was not hard to see that it upset Carly a little.

Trying to study Empty Re: Trying to study

Grumbling and complaining was the new normal for Hayden Yaxley as he wandered around the Hogwarts castle looking for something to occupy his time between classes which were even more boring that normal. Yet again he ended up in the Library pretending to read a book as he really watched the other occupants of the room. Not far from where he sat was a blonde headed girl who seemed like she was trying to study and in the door way to the corridor stood a group of guys Hayden was quite acquainted with. Normally he would be part of their group being a jerk face and pointing at the girl laughing with them trying to look cool and impress them. He set down the book and studied the look on the girls face, and not liking what he saw at this moment he stood up and walked over to his so called friends. "Hey," he said, "I know she's a Huffer but leave her alone."

Trying to study Empty Re: Trying to study

Carly listened intently as the boy stood up for her. She didn't want anybody to help her, especially this boy. This boy looked like a rich kid whose mom still picked out his clothes. Quietly, she stood up and went to get another book. As she approached the tall bookshelf she couldn't reach the book she needed. Again, she got teased by another group of teenage boys. She got pushed to the floor and began to cry. Her shyness took over and she looked to the ground almost to where she could be in direct eyesight with their shoes. Not knowing what might happen next, she tried to make herself look smaller. She did this to try to avoid any hits she may receive.

Hayden rolled his eyes as more kids started to pick on this girl. He walked over to where she sat on the floor and helped her up. "Which book did you want?" he asked glaring at the boys who had knocked her over. After getting the book she had been reaching for he took her by the elbow and led her away from the boys and towards the other side of the library. "Sure i know girls don't like being stood up for but I wasn't going to watch them be like towards you." He led her to a table where he allowed her to sit once again.
