What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Ice Cream, Cookies and Sibling Bonding Time Empty Ice Cream, Cookies and Sibling Bonding Time

Curfew had passed a few hours prior and Eli was starting to get hungry. He left the comfort of the Slytherin common room and walked up the steps to the grand staircase. He continued on his way and stopped outside the portrait that would let him into the kitchens. Eli reached up and lightly tickled the pear. The portrait door of kitchens swung open and Elijah stepped inside. He pulled it closed behind him and walked further into the kitchen. A house elf ran over to him and Nachash hissed at it before slithering across the floor to inspect the food another elf was laying out for her. “Just some leftovers please.” Eli said, moving to sit at one of the tables. The house elf nodded and disappeared but returned quickly with some soup and buttered bread. Eli thanked the elf and tucked into his supper, eager to fill himself up.

Ice Cream, Cookies and Sibling Bonding Time Empty Re: Ice Cream, Cookies and Sibling Bonding Time

It was beginning to get late, and Cecilia was beginning to get the "midnight-snack emptiness" in her stomach. She decided to head down to the kitchens to get something yummy to eat. It seemed to take forever to get from the Ravenclaw Tower and all the way down to the Dungeons, but it would be worth it. As Cecilia approached the Kitchens portrait, she lightly rubbed her finger on the pear and stepped inside, closing the door behind her as she headed inside. Cecilia looked around and spotted her brother, Elijah. She wasn't surprised to find him eating at such a time, he always did have a big appetite. She stepped over to his table and smirked at him "Eating again?" She giggled and sat down across from him. A house elf quickly came to her, and asked what she wanted, "Just the usual, please" She smiled to him as he walked off and returned with chocolate ice cream- her favorite.

Eli looked up upon hearing the sound of the portrait swinging open and his eyebrow shot up in amusement when he saw his sister step inside. Nachash slithered onto the table and Eli broke a bit of bread off of his roll and dipped it into the soup. He held it out for the snake and she took it without complaint. He then chose to address his sister. “Again? You make it sound like I eat often.”

Cecilia stroked Nachash's smooth skin as she ate, putting another spoonful of ice cream in her mouth. As soon as she swallowed it she lifted her eyes to her brother. "Well, you do" She giggled. He didn't actually eat very often, but when he did, he could eat a meal the size of a horse- not literally of course. Cecilia looked around the room watching the house elves clean up the mess from the supper, as she scarfed down more ice cream. She spooned up a small amount of ice cream and held it out to Nachash, but she refused and ate more bread. "Hm, she usually likes ice cream" Cecilia grinned.

Eli rolled his eyes and dunked some more bread into the soup. He wasn't too hungry which was probably why he didn't demand a three course meal but he'd no doubt take something back to the common room with him. He just wanted that full feeling which he didn't often get. "Has she written at all?" Eli asked, referring to their mother who probably cared more about the little moles that she found unflattering than she did about them. Eli ran his hand down Nachash's back and she hissed before slithering over to curl up in his lap. "She's been feeling off lately." he said thoughtfully.

Cecilia thought about the most recent letter her mother had written as she ate more ice cream. Her mother actually had written pretty recently, but her letters were all so pointless, but she enjoyed reading them. "Yes, she did, about a week ago, I think" She remembered. This letter was actually somewhat normal. She asked how we were doing, and that she and their father were doing fine, and also some other random things. Cecilia watched Nachash as she slithered to Elijah. "Is she alright?" She asked, hoping the snake wasn't getting ill.

"Did she say anything interesting?" Eli asked, setting his soup to the side for Nachash to finish off. He doubted very highly that the woman wanted to know what Cecilia’s school life was like. Then again, she'd stopped writing to him after his last letter when he called her wench and then after that it was silence; like a calm before a storm almost. Eli idly began to stroke Nachash again and looked at the snake that was lapping up the soup like a dog. "I don't know." he admitted with a shrug. "She's been far too quiet lately."

"Surprisingly no, she actually asked how we were doing. Stuff that is completely abnormal for her." Cecilia responded, finishing off her ice cream. Her mother never usually asked about Eli, but it sounded like she was softening up and finally beginning to care about them, and not so much of herself. Cecilia looked over to Nachash, who was finishing up Eli's soup. "Hopefully she isn't getting sick" She worried.

"She's after something then." Eli said bluntly, not even stopping to think for one second that their mother might actually mean well. It was unlikely and he would have rather slit his throat than believe that the woman had a kind bone in her body. "Nachash will be fine." he said off-handly. "I hope." he added as an afterthought.
