Jess nodded and put his hand out for Matt to get up. He'd thought something like that would happen, clearly that scroll had emanated with power, and he had experience with scrolls and other similar magical items, yes, he'd thought that might happen. "Are you alright?" he asked, patting him on the back and looking at him curiously to see if anything was wrong

Yeah I'm fine, I just feel different. he said. The scroll was still floating, Matt reached for it and felt a burning sensation as he got closer. He quickly grabbed it and it stopped glowing. What the hell was that? he asked looking at the scroll. Mkay....I think I know what this is.... he said. Disregard my other comment... he said.

Jess looked at matt curiously, but shrugged. "Ok," he said, taking his word for it. "So, what did happen?" he asked curiously, wondering what the effects of the scroll were. "Feel any different? Seeing strange marks on the walls?" he asked curiously

No but...I do see an arrow....on that rock over there... he said curiosly. He looked at the scroll, he saw glowing words. Jess, can you see words on the scroll? he asked showing him the scroll. He was wondering why all this was happening to him. Maybe his life, wasn't falling apart....

Jess looked at the scroll and frowned. "I can, but it's in another language... another script as well," he said, frowning even more, he'd never seen anything like that before. He looked to his left and saw the rock, there was indeed an arrow on it, looking around he saw where it'd come from, just above was an angel holding a bow, with no arrow.

Its weird, cause...I can read it. he said looking at Jess. He looked around a bit trying to see if he could see anything different now. Jess! Theres an incantation on it! He said he walked over to his wand and picked it up. Let me read the text and then I'll try the spell... he said.

Khaat decided to follow where the angel seemed to be looking and directing her arrow, wondering if perhaps she was pointing at something. She calculated it the best she could and started to search that area, wondering if there was something there for her to find, something their new information was trying to reveal.

"Do you think that its wise to be doing dark magic when lets be honest you do not even have as much experience as i would?" he asked walking up to them. he rolled up his sleeves his dark mark showing it was fully filled in. Ne'Os quickly glanced up at the clouds again hoping it wouldnt rain.
