Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

"I probably will, " Khaat said quietly. "I'm just more concerned that I gather up as many of these stones as I can and take away the fuel supply for this thing. And these two stones are the biggest ones I've found yet. It reminds me of how some muggles hoard food in case of a bad storm. I think he was preparing himself for all kinds of power in case he needed it. I intend to strip him of every ounce that he could gain quickly. Then I'll probably destroy the whole works."

"Maybe though you could let me have the quartz one just in-case i find a day where i lose my power and i need a refill surely you know that after a hundred years or so theres a great chance i will lose my magic" he said quietly feeling the power in the crystal.

"I'm not doing anything with them for now. I'm sure they were probably all charged with about as much dark magic as they could hold years and years ago.' Khaat put them in her bag safely. I wish I knew what was in that scroll that Matt found. Part of me wonders if it is the incantation to power up the stuff I found."

Jess Potter wrote:Jess looked concernedly at Matt and shook his head. "No, i think you should stay with us," he said after a pause. "If people not respecting you is an issue, well maybe you should act a bit more serious," he said, "I used to have the same problem," he told Matt. "But then i became a grumpy bastard, and people started listening to me. I think you need to prove yourself, and then people will realise the potential you have," Jess told him. "and besides, i need you to tell the others what it is you've found, because, to be honest, i wouldn't have the foggiest," he said, smiling, trying to lighten the mood a bit, before turning and noticing Darren, Mari and Ne'os had joined them now. "Hey guys," he said with nod, looking at them. "Find anything interesting?" he asked them

Matt nodded his head and pulled out the scroll following Jess. Jess was a good friend, just after all that's happened. It would take a lot to get the respect he deserved. People just never listened to him. He had his wand in one hand and the scroll in the other. Jess, I think I should read the scroll. he said quietly to him. Just in case its cursed or something... he added.

(I'll just burst in, as always XD)

''Lestrange, sure, go ahead! But please, cast some barrier charm so that the others can survive'', Wilson said ironically. ''You know, we do have a perfectly good specialist in dark arts here somewhere, why not call him?'', he asked raising his shoulders in general ignorance, although the sarcasm was more than obvious. ''It is probably not the Horcrux itself, even Voldemort is not so imaginative, but if it is cursed, it probably contains some hints. Now, where is that Dark Arts specialist when you need him?'', he said looking around.

OoC:I do that to sometimes James xD
Matt was not a where he was speaking so loudly. He stood next to Jess with the scroll in his hand still. I will James...soon enough. he said. He was very lucky his aunt had told him all these stories. Not to mention he would follow Jess's advice. He would become a cranky old bastard and see how it works.

"Um...is there a chance there could be an incantation in that scroll, Matt? If so, I think I know what it affects, maybe. Maybe it affects the alchemic little gizmo I found in the house. I hid it elsewhere already so Majere would not confiscate it."

Jess looked curiously at matt and thought for a second, maybe this is something he could do to make matt feel more appreciated and respected. It truly did go against his good will, but he turned to Wilson. "Shut up," he said, having not forgotten his actions in the Riddle House. "Matt, i'm going to leave it up to you, in my opinion, you shouldn't, but i think you should decide for yourself." he said, trying to stress the 'I wouldn't,' part, but also stressing the 'It's up to you," part

Matt looked at Jess and then the scroll. Jess, if this kills me. Promise you'll tell Sophia to look for Emmy he said sadly. He backed up and put his wand on the ground. He lifted the scroll up and untied it, as he untied it. It began to shine very brightly, engulfing him in light. He felt something weird over power him something...good. He began to be lifted in the air, the light was receeding. His face was showing, he had his eyes closed and a very plain look on his face. He felt a burning sensation all around him, it was pain...then nothing. He fell to the ground with a thud, he was struggling to get up. A little help!?! he said gruffly.
