Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

James Wake raised his hand. It helped to come from a family of werewolves.
"A Werewolf is a genetic anomaly with a magical basis. They are a presence not usually appreciated. Under the conditions of a perfect full moon, any given werewolf will experience a transformation, involuntarily in most circumstances. This werewolf will not be in full possession of their conscious mind unless they drink a certain potion. Without any such limitation, the werewolf's wild nature will overtake their body, and they will fail to recognize friend, family or foe. Instead, an intense hunger will overtake them, usually for food."

This was James intended answer, but he did not say it aloud.

''You can answer it Mr. Wake. Haven't I told you that you can answer without waiting for acceptance? Silly child.'', Wilson said, entering the classroom and seeing James' hand in the air. ''My dear Gabrielle, we meet again. I presume that they have been successful with the Boggarts. The Werewolves shall not be more difficult since, sadly, we do not have a living example.'', he said.

''Again, I repeat, you can stay until class ends, if you wish, but be sure to give them one last statement before you leave. And yes, good luck to you in the future, you will need it, I am sure.'', Wilson said.

Gabrielle looked as Wilson walked inside the classroom. She knew it would happen so she was prepared. "Very good mister Wake that would be 5 points for Rawenclaw." she said before she turned to Wilson. "Hello Wilson. At least i am glad you are replacing me not someone without slightest idea about this subject.Anyway notes and grades are all in my office i mean your office so serve yourself." she said as she turned to the students,

"I assume you all know this is Professor Wilson and he is your new Defence against the dark arts teacher from now on." she said as she took her robe and turned to Wilson for the last time. "I appriciate your offer Wilson, but i have dementors to deal with on the entrance and hopefully we'll meet eachother again one day." she said as she slightly bowed and left towards the stairs.
