Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Keith walked into class, still amazed that nothing had stopped him from simply walking in. Usually something bad happened, a misfired spell, or one of the older kids getting a little pushy. But today, nothing at all had happened on the walk from the Ravenclaw tower to his DADA class. "Hello professor," He said, grinning slightly as he took his seat.

Gabrielle looked as the first student arrived at the class. "Good morning Mister Nicholas.I guess that is 20 points for Rawenclaw for being on time.We still have a couple of minutes so you can sit and wait." she said liking this new way of doing things.

Alice walked into the classroom and walked to a desk in the front of the classroom. She sat down.Alice looked around and saw one student sitting down. Alice took out a quill, a piece of parchment, an ink bottle, and her wand. She set the ink bottle on the corner of her desk and her wand at the top of the desk. She sat promptly and waited for other students to arrive. "Hello, Professor."

Zack worries to the class room, He wasn't late but if he didn't run he could get late. Zack enters the class room door a little tired of that run but he can manage to say "Greetings Professor" before sitting down. While resting he took out the necessary things to write some notes.

"Good morning, professor," James said as he walked in. He politely waved to Keith Nicholas, and sat down in a chair along the back row. The more he attended the class, the less he cared about it. He did not bother studying the material within the textbook- indeed, one of his favorite pass times was annotating the book, and correcting every little thing about it.

"Good morning, professor," Miseria said when she soundlessly entered the classroom and walked to the middle row, again there where she was used to sit. She took out her book, wand, parchment and quill, placing all of them on the table corner, and pushed her blue hair away. Defence against the dark arts was one of her favourite subjects and though, she couldn't show up her intelligence when there was ravenclaw student around, she made just an appearance here in class and try to earn housepoints.

She looked at the blackboard and suddenly she started to laugh quietly. Werewolfs. Intersting how are they going to study her? Or what kind of myths they will talk about her kinds?

Gabrielle looked as more students came on time. "Good morning to you too.Let me see now.60 points for gryffindor another 20 for Rawenclaw and 20 for Huffelpuff for being here on time." she said hoping she didn't miss anyone out. "First news from this class is that i won't be taking any more notes from now on.Surely on pleasure of some." she announced and got up with her wand left on the desk.

"Since now on Defence Against the Dark Arts we've been learning about defensive spells.Today we are going to do some magical creatures which also applies for the Dark Arts. Now can anyone tell me definition of a Boggart?" she asked scanning through the classroom.

Alice raised her hand. "A boggart is a shape-shifter. It can change into anything that we fear the most." Alice waited for the teacher to praise her. She smiled at the teacher.
