Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

The common room is dimly lit, with flickering torches casting shadows on the stone walls. The sound of music fills the air, coming from a record player set up in one corner of the room. The students are gathered in small groups, chatting and laughing as they enjoy the music and each other's company. Some are lounging on the plush sofas, while others are perched on cushions on the floor.  There was a record player in the corner that had been enchanted to play music without human assistance.
At a separate table, a group of students had gathered a collection of sweets from Honeydukes, along with some treats sent from home by Muggle-borns. Amidst the bustle surrounding him, Alex sat comfortably on a sofa with a smile on his face. This was his favorite place to be, among his peers, though he couldn't help but wish for the company of a beautiful girl by his side.

Mason to be honest wasn't really a person to hang out with in his common room, he avoided the place when he could. He would rather be somewhere else but today he felt like coming here. It had been a long day for sure. He walked into the room and saw there was his fellow house mate. "Oh, hey," he said and collapsed into one of the armchairs in the room. He was just exhausted a bit.

"Hey Cuffe." Alex greeted the seventh-year student who had joined the group. "Where you been?" he asked smirking. Alex had seen him with a sixth-year Hufflepuff in the quidditch pitch the other day. He thought the girls name was Maddie, but he couldn't remember. "What's going on with you and that blonde?" he had to rise his voice to be heard of the others in the room as their conversations grew louder and more students joined. One of the half-bloods had taken over the music and had some muggle song on that Alex didn't recognize. He liked the feel of the music nodding his head to the beat of the tune.

He just nodded his head on his last name being used. "Around," the boy said simply. His business was't really this guys business. When there was questions about Maddie he just sighed. He was already so done. He hated this stupid rumour already. "Nothing is going on. We are friends, neither foes. We don't date. We just get aong at times," he said with a shrug.

Alex couldn't help but smirk as he saw the older boy's reaction. He had clearly hit a nerve, and that only made the situation more interesting.
"You know," Alex said, his tone dripping with insincerity, "I think she's kind of cute. Do you think I'd have a chance with her?" He paused, relishing in the discomfort of the older boy. "I've been looking for someone to mess with," he added, almost as an afterthought.
In reality, Alex had no interest in pursuing a relationship with anyone. But the thought of messing with a girl's head, especially one that the older boy seemed irritated by, was too tempting to resist. He leaned back in his chair, waiting for the older boy's response with a sly grin on his face.

Mason looked at Alex and then was just shrugging his shoulders. Why he should care if he goes to have fun with Maddie. They weren't even really friends. Yes they had got along today and it was weird. They didn't bicker as always. He looked at around the room and then back at Alex.
"Why you ask my premission. I don't own her or so. He isn't mine. Do what you want," he said simply to Alex. There was some annoyance in his voice, without realising it. He did care about Maddie deep down but was too afraid to admit it. "She can be cute but that doesn't mean she isn't annoying."

"Annoying is subjective, not that it matters, I wouldn't have her around for long." Alex chuckled; he really wasn't the type to keep girls around long. It was to work to keep it up. Then something else popped into his head, "Isn't she friends with that sister of your?" the grin on his face growing mischievous in nature, "She's doesn't look half bad either." If the first girl didn't get the reaction Alexander wanted out of Mason the thoughts, he was having about the second were bound to. "What is your type like? Maybe I could get both of them" he chuckled at the thought.

Mason eyed the boy and just looked at him. "Yes true that. Then again you never date anyone seriously. So why I should care about you and Maddie," he said there but when the boy brought his sister in the play. Then something in his eyes chanegd. They went darker for sure. "Don't mess with my sister, or you will regret it, boy," he said and walked a lot closer to the boy. He knew he shouldn't get very angry. "Don't even dare to touch Michelle," he warned the boy there now. He was capable of a lot more than this boy thought he would.

Alex quipped at Mason, "What's the point in a serious relationship?" He waited for Mason's reaction, eager to see how it would play out. The expression on Cuffe's face shifted, and his eyes grew darker as he moved closer to Alex. "And what are you going to do about it if I do?" he asked, towering over him. Alexander puffed out his chest in an attempt to appear bigger and tougher than he really was. “She’d probably like being with me, that is why you're so upset isn’t it.”

Mason looked at the guy and him trying to look taller and tougher didn't work on him. "Are you sure you want to find out?" he asked with smirk and tried to push him towards the wall behind him. "Trying to act like our tought guy are we?" he asked with another smirk. This didn't work on him at all. He knew he some more strength for sure. He knew he can't use it all.
