Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Studying Empty Studying

Post by Sterling Hart Thu Apr 27, 2017 8:28 pm

Sterling finally found the library. And now she was coming to it every day to study. She found it less packed than the study room, and so it seemed like the ideal place. There was also the strict rule about silence. Talking was absolutely not permitted, not even a whisper. Sterling sat down at one of the empty tables and plopped all she needed to study with onto it.

"Hmm... let's see. A Charms assignment, a Defense Against the Dark Arts essay and a Transfiguration assignment. Seems easy enough," Sterling smiled. She had this in the bag! She took out her Defense Against the Dark Arts scroll first, as that would be the one she enjoyed the least. She would then go on to Transfiguration, and finally to Charms, her favorite subject. Sterling quickly glanced at the essay prompt and a few mediocre ideas flew through her mind. She scribbled them down but decided she needed something that was sure to wow the professor. She brainstormed for a few minutes, but nothing came to mind. She finally resorted to getting ideas from the books in the library. That was another reason why she loved to do her work in the library. The ideas were right there, and they could give your creativity and sudden boost.
