What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. A sunset is the sun's fiery kiss to the night Empty A sunset is the sun's fiery kiss to the night

There was something magical about walking through the forest at the night.
Sun was almost gone and full moon started to appear in the sky.
Probably it wasn't the best idea ever to come here during the full moon, she heard stories.
Yet, she didn't realize it is the full moon since she saw him and now was too late to go back to home. It wasn't really too late, but she didn't want to go home.
It was beautiful here.

So there she is, walking deeper and deeper in the forest.
Ant then, it was finally night and she heard something in the distance.
"Lumos" she almost whispered letting the light to show her the way.

If there was anyone in the forest around him, and Sebastien O'Sullivan wholeheartedly hoped there wasn't, he was hoping that person didn't mind a bit of nudity, he laughed dryly and started stripping with first indications of upcoming night. He neatly folded his clothes, put it in a plastic bag and put the bag beneath the tree he chose especially for this occasion.

The moon should have already risen if his calculations were correct, but he was still human, a naked man standing in the middle of the woods, people would probably call him lunatic if they could see him now. Interesting how he never thought his knowledge of astronomy would come in handy, although it was his favourite subject in Hogwarts, he always saw astronomy more like a hobby then like a real subject, like something he could use in real life.

That was before he was bitten and became a werewolf. Before tracking moon phases became one of the most important things in his life so he'd always be prepared and be somewhere far from any town and people he might hurt as a canine.

The tingling started in his neck and spread through his spine. Sebastien looked up, at the sky, and sure enough, the moon was there, that meant the pain will come soon, too. The tingling travelled through every bone in his body forcing Sebastien on his knees.

O'Sullivan clenched his teeth as the pain ripped through the body when the tingling evolved into pinching and pulling as his muscles and bones started changing their shape, changing the skeleton and musculature of a man into an animal.

A scream of pain ripped through the woods and Sebastien wondered who's screaming, before realising it was him. It was his last sane thought before the world went black.

The wolf rose from the place where a man was crying in agony only a few moments earlier, it howled, saying hello to his old friend – the moon, stretched itself, the same way he would do after a long sleep, sniffing the ground in the process.

And ran.

You can't tell that Irina is the most sensitive person you will ever meet.
Or the one who care about others more than about herself.
But when she heard someone screaming, she started running toward the sound. That was scream full of pain, agony, and curiosity force her to see what is happening.

Of course, if she was a little bit smarter she would start running in the opposite direction, she would realize what she learned about the full moon and creatures controlled by the moon.
But she obviously wasn't smart enough because she headed for the north because even stupid blonde was able to realize where that scream come from.

Nothing couldn't prepare her for that what she saw only five minutes ago, maybe even less.
"Okay, calm down" she almost whispered but she wasn't sure that creature in front of her would care about her words.
"Werewolf," she said as acknowledge and started running, finally feeling will to live.

Why so soon? :'))

The beast stopped as his ears caught the sound he had never heard before. He bounded forward in confusion, listening to his surroundings, before hearing a sound he was well familiar with – the footsteps. The carnal instinct kicked in, forcing the wolf to follow it. To hunt it.

Despite pitch black surroundings, the animal moved effortlessly through the woods, avoiding trees and jumping over fallen branches with the elegance of a dancer. Moonlight helped him, outlining figures on his way, creating shadows that were swinging because of a cold winter breeze.

The footsteps became louder as the distance between his pray and the wolf got smaller and the wolf barked, forcing his muscles harder, his paws to move faster over the frozen ground.

He could hear owl howling in the distance, a murmur of tree branches colliding with each other, steps of small animals he'd usually hunt if there wasn't any bigger challenge, but his ears were focused on his prey. The animal didn't know what he was hunting, yet he knew it was something big, considering all the noise it caused while running.

A deer, maybe? A large dog?

The wolf didn't care, the act of hunting was more important that the type of the prey. It was a game of sorts.

The game he was going to win.

"Oh my God" that was the last thing she was able to say before fear took control over her body. Adrenaline gave her strength to run faster than ever before. She wondered would she be able to run like this if there isn't werewolf who is preparing to kill her.
She probably wouldn't, but now that isn't the most important thing she needs to worry about.

"Nox" Irina was naive to think that the beast won't be able to find her without light but that could at least help her a little bit. She wasn't planning to make this any easier for that creature.
Irina started to think about everything she learned about werewolves during school. They are all humans, but in this moment, when the full moon is over them, humans in them are hidden somewhere and there is no way to change that.

This beast will kill her. She could try to kill him as well, but she was aware she would never do that, because after all, that is human, woman or man with family and friends, and she is not able to kill someone who is like her. At least most of the time.

She hides behind one big tree. That probably wouldn't help her but she was out of the air and she needed to stop at least for a minute. Irina looked around and for now, it seemed like she escaped. Maybe she is safe now.

The wolf suddenly stopped. The frozen ground made him slip and the animal yelped. The wolf sniffed the air and walked carefully, trying to choose whether to hunt down the prey he still could hear or to find another toy to play with. The logic part of the animal won the debate, and the wolf started following the one he already heard.

Walking slowly through the woods, the wolf sniffed the ground, his ears turning in every direction and listening all the sounds human's ear just could catch. Picking the smell of his prey he hurried in that direction walking towards the tree.

His teeth closed over warm flesh. Hearing a scream that startled him, the wolf reacted instinctively, attacking instead of just scaring the prey so he could hunt it some more like he originally planned.

A howl of another wolf took his attention, and the wolf backed away, turning in that direction, forgetting his prey. Hearing a call of another canine, he howled back and ran away in direction of the sound.
