Unexpected Things Empty Unexpected Things

Post by Vanessa Wendorf Mon Nov 16, 2015 12:31 am

Vanessa was dressed in her favorite blue jeans and long sleeved deep blue sweater. She needed a day away from work to think about everything that she had weighing down on her. She went into her daughters room and saw that her daughter had three outfits picked out. She giggled and knew that her daughter was going to be a woman who would try to find the right outfits for a few hours. Hearing her giggle Sascha looked over her shoulder with a grin then walked over to hug Nessa's legs.

"Hey sweetie, did you find what you want to wear yet?" She asked her daughter as she hugged her back.

"No, I wanna wear these ones but I know I can't." Sascha said with a sigh as she sat on her bed. "I love these ones."

"Here let me help." Nessa said as she walked over and saw the outfits smiling. They were all a various pink or purple so she came up with a solution. She grabbed the pants from one the shirt from another then grabbed a little sweater from the last one. "Here you can wear a little of all of them. After your done, we can head to Grandma's house since she wants to see you. I'll be gone for a little bit then I'll come back to pick you up ok?"

Sascha nodded then began getting dressed as Nessa walked out of the room to give her privacy.

Nessa walked into the kitchen to grab something drink and sighed softly, she was out of her depth lately. She grabbed the orange juice from the fridge to grab a small glass. She drank it slowly so as to not upset her already unstable stomach.

Hearing her daughter's door open, she emptied the glass and placed in the sink. "Ready sweetheart?" She asked as her daughter walked into the kitchen. Seeing her nod her head, she smiled taking her hand and apparating to her mother's house. Saying good-bye to her daughter she apparated in the area behind the Leaky Cauldron.

She walked in and picked a spot next to the fireplace, she order a small meal just in case her stomach couldn't handle it. She ran a hand through her hair and sighed, she didn't know what she was doing anymore. She was pregnant with her second child and she ran Babbity Rabbity's, she only hoped that she could handle everything that came with it.

Unexpected Things Empty Re: Unexpected Things

Post by Victor Faulkner Mon Nov 16, 2015 5:03 am

After a long day of working and healing people at St. Mungo's, Victor was finally off work for the day another busy day will be upon him tomorrow, but he'll worry about that then. Victor clocked out and went to the locker room and changed, he changed out of his healing robe to his black shirt and blue jeans before putting on his black leather jacket before heading out the door. People say that Victor's attitudes from when he was at work and not at work were completely different, but he didn't think so, maybe more mature when he was at work but he loved what he did. To Victor there was nothing more awarding then saving someone else's life, of course he was a adereline junkie, but he loved helping others and healing others. Although based on Victor's look, he looked to be more of a Auror then a Healer, which he could have been but Victor didn't want it.

Walking out of the hospital, the cold wind hit his face as he walked a couple of blocks down towards the Leaky Cauldron. Walking into the dim lit pub, Victor walked passed the a group of drunks that were falling out of their chairs, Victor shook his head at them. Victor found a table by the fireplace to warm himself up by the fire, it was his stupidity due to him walking here, but he didn't mind it much. Victor ordered him some chicken noodle soup and a tea to warm himself up, Victor didn't drink much, he really didn't like the taste of Firewhiskey or liquor.

Victor's eyes wondered around the place, his eyes fell on a familiar blonde that was sitting not to far from him. He haven't seen her since Hogwarts that he remembers. They were the same age and same year, they had classes together, but he never seen her after they graduated. Although he never told her, but Victor had a crush on Vanessa and liked her during Hogwarts, they were good friends but he didn't think that Vanessa liked him more then a friend. Although a lot of girls liked him and he dated quite a bit of girls, but he did it to get over his crush of her, although it did until he seen her right here and now.

Victor snapped back into reality and sighed to himself as his chicken noodle soup and tea was set down in front of him. "Thanks."said Victor gave her a soft warm smile. Victor ate his chicken noodle before he took a drink of his tea, slowly feeling himself warm up little by little. He took off his jacket and put it on the back of his chair, his eyes wondering to Vanessa wondering if it was really her or not, but he decided to keep to himself until she noticed him if she did. Victor didn't think she liked him while they were at Hogwarts anyways, they were just friends, and that's probably all they'll be anyways.

Unexpected Things Empty Re: Unexpected Things

Post by Vanessa Wendorf Wed Nov 18, 2015 5:36 pm

She had been looking around the pub when he walked in, she quickly faced back towards the fire. She knew everything about him and she couldn't believe that today of all days she would bump into him here. Victor was her friend at Hogwarts and they lost contact after she left. She knew why but she didn't know what to say to him now. Her life felt like a mess and she didn't want him to see right through her like he always had a way of doing. Seeing him now though he looked more handsome than he did in school. She knew he probably still had girls falling all over him, she hated that in school and tended to stay away when he was with his girlfriend at the time.

She shook her head at her thoughts since they seemed to just bombard her as soon as she saw him. She took a drink of her orange juice trying to think of things to say to him. She could feel his eyes on her which had her almost grinning at that. So she took a small breath and looked up, seeing him there made her wonder what he had been up to since she lost contact.

"You know Vic it's not nice to stare at people." She said with a grin using her old nickname for him. "Why don't you come over here and join me for lunch. Then you can people stare without them noticing." She grinned more at her last words and motioned for him to come join her.

Unexpected Things Empty Re: Unexpected Things

Post by Victor Faulkner Wed Nov 18, 2015 7:58 pm

Vitor laughed. "Now I know that my theory is correct, I was wondering if it was you, turns out I was right."said Victor. "I see that you're still calling me that Nessa."said Victor referring to his nickname his siblings and his closest friends called him. Victor gotten up and took his chicken noodle soup and tea and headed towards her table before he set his stuff down before sitting across from her. "Been awhile since I saw you, how you been?'Victor asked her taking a bite of his chicken noodle soup.

Victor looked at her for a second, she looked just as beautiful as he remembered her, but seeing her before him made him not able to think clearly. Victor knew that Vanessa was very popular while in Hogwarts, he was the same way as well, the popular Gryffindor daredevil that was a risk taker. Although Victor had girlfriend after girlfriend, his mind was on Vanessa and thinking about her, so his relationship never lasted long. He dated in hopes to get over Vanessa, but he never could no matter how hard he tried, his longest relationship was a year but ended at her cheating on him. He couldn't believe after all these years, he couldn't get over her, he was stuck on her and only her.

Although Victor wondered why she lost contact with him after they graduated from Hogwarts, it was like she dropped off the face of the earth, he wondered where she went and what she did after Hogwarts. Victor went on to become a healer like he always wanted when in Hogwarts, and he loved every minute of it, he always cared about others then himself.

Nessa laughed at his words, "I was a theory huh?" she asked teasingly. "Well half the time you think it's someone you know your usually right about it." She grinned when he heard her use his nickname. "Well at least your nickname is better than mine. Mine sounds like that loch ness monster," She said remembering getting teased for when she was at Hogwarts. She watched him gather his soup and tea to join her at the table. "Yeah it has been a while." She looked made sure she avoided his eyes when she answered his question. "I've been fine. I own the Babbity Rabbity," she said softly. "What have you been up to? How have you been?" She steered the questions towards him smoothly.

"You know your staring again, makes me wonder what going on in that head of yours." She said with a smile. She remembered when they were in Hogwarts that he would stare at her at random times. It never unnerved her but it made her wonder what it would be like to his girlfriend. She didn't start having a crush on him until they were in their fifth year of Hogwarts but she knew that she wouldn't be able to compete with the girls he dated. All of them were much more prettier than her and so she tried to just be his friend. She remembered the bad break up he had with one of the girls he dated. The girl had cheated on him and what he didn't know was she hexed the girl to have hair growing rapidly that she had to go to the Hospital Wing to help her fix it. She never told him that she did it but made it seem like it was one of his ex's that was the cause of it. She made sure that she didn't get found out by anyone since the girl was alone and had her back turned it was hard to see who had did it to her. Of course of one his ex's went along with her being the one that did it and no one was the wiser.

She always wondered what Victor did after he left Hogwarts, she hoped that he became the healer he wanted to be. She knew that he would be a great healer and wanted him to succeed in that manner. She wished that she would have told him how she felt before she left but she was scared to. Then she had met that boy who then vanished without a trace, she felt like she had bad luck when it came to relationships.

Unexpected Things Empty Re: Unexpected Things

Victor laughed. "Well... you know me, always testing my theory uhtilI know the truth, don't want to look like a idiot!"said Victor.  Victor laughed once again.  "What can I say, I guess I'm just a good guesser, that's how I passed my OWLs and NEWTs by guessing!"said Victor jokingly but playfully. Victor studied his butt off for his exams,  he determined to become a healer if it was the last thing he did.  "Well...better then Nessie like you were called in Hogwarts,  I always beat up the boys who called you that during Hogwarts,  you didn't deserve to be picked on because of your name which I always thought was beautiful and suited you."said Victor.   Victor noticed that she avoided eye contact with him and wondered why, but he shook the feeling off, but he couldn't help but not to wonder why she was avoiding him.   Victor smiled. "Wow...that's great, you always had a thing with kids, they loved you!"said Victor honestly.   Victor paused at her question before answering it.  "I been fine, I'm a healer at St.Mungo's."said Victor.

Victor laughed.  "I'm sorry for staring, but you're just as beautiful as you were in Hogwarts.'said Victor.  Victor shook his head at her second comment.  "You sometimes wouldn't want to see what's in my head, there's some dark and difficult stuff in there."said Victor honestly.  Victor stared at her various times until she caught him staring and he gave her a cheeky smile before he looked away, sometimes when he was partnered with her in potions, he was so close to her that he could smell her and loved how she smelled.   Was it a bit creepy? Yeah maybe, but he always wondered what it'll be like to be her boyfriend, he was sure he'll love her better then any of the guys she was with during their Hogwarts years.  Some to majority of his break ups was because they always thought there was something going on between him and Vanessa, although he swore that there was nothing going on between them, but wished there was the majority of the time.

Victor wanted to tell her how he felt about her, but he was afraid that she didn't feel the same way and it ruined their friendship.  Victor loved Vanessa ever since he could remember,  he started liking her in his third year and thought it was a sillly school boy crush, but his fifth year is when he fell hard for her.   Wow... crazy how you think you get over someone until you see them again, that was how Victor felt now,  all he knew that he needed to tell her how he felt before it was to late.   If she didn't feel the same way he'll be awfully disappointed but he'll move on from her hopefully,  love was a complicated thing at times.

Nessa laughed softly because she did know him and how he always had to be sure it was that person. "Yeah right, I saw you studying your butt off in the Library for those exams. It was funny because you couldn't figure out who kept putting snacks on your desk while you were working. I was laughing so hard I ended up dropping one right on your head." She said laughing at that memory of floating snacks to him while he had been studying. His next words floored her, she looked at him her eyes wide. "You did that? Why? Apart from it suiting me or it being beautiful. Why did you do that?" She asked looking at him with curiosity. She heard his next words about kids and thought about her daughter and the one she was pregnant with now. "Yeah, I..Uh thought it was something that would work well for me." She looked at him when he said he was fine. "What wrong Victor? I'm happy for you being a healer there but there's something wrong. What is it? You can tell me."

Nessa blushed deeply at his words she was at a loss of what to say to that. Finally she said, "Thank you Victor." Her voice was soft and she was still blushing slightly. She moved over to the chair that was closer to his and put her hand on his. "There may be some dark and difficult stuff in your head Victor but I know that there's also light." She said looking at him. "Everyone has a bit of dark and light in them but all that matters is which one is the one you follow. You are a good man Victor and I'm here if you ever need to talk." She leaned forward and kissed his cheek softly. She wanted to be there for him, she hated that she had lost contact with him but with everything that had went on so quickly in her life that she didn't have time to breathe. She knew however that she needed to tell him about her daughter and the baby that was currently growing in her. She was afraid of what he might think of her but she knew she couldn't keep it from him.

Vic laughed. "Ok... Fine you got me, and it was you that kept putting snacks in front of me? I wonder who was putting all my favorite snacks in front of me."said Vic laughing. Vic laughed. "Oh god, I don't think I ever seen the librarian so mad before, chased us out with books attacking us!"said Vic smiling at the memory. If it wasn't for Victor's adventurous and daredevil ways, he probably would've been a Ravenclaw due to his smartness, but he was as smart as a whip. Vic froze in his place at her question, he knew the truth, but he didn't know if he could tell her the truth. Vic shrugged. "I don't know, guess I didn't like to see you teased like that, it made me mad."said Vic only half telling her the truth. Vic smiled. "It suits you very well, almost as much as me being a healer and helping others."said Victor. Victor's hazel eyes looked into hers. "Why did you lose contact with me Nessa? I tried writing you, but I couldn't find you."said Vic looking at her sadly.

"I'm just telling you the truth Nessa, you are very beautiful, but you always been beautiful to me."said Vic honestly. Vic looked down and felt a shock run through him as she touched his hand, damn she was making it hard for him to tell her the truth, he wanted to so bad. Vic looked at her and smiled. "You always see good in others when they can't see it themselves, that's one thing that I love about you "said Vic. He lost all control when she kissed his cheek, he wanted nothing more then to kiss her right there and then. "I love you Nessa, I have since my fifth year at Hogwarts."said Vic as his eyes widened at what he told her. 'Crap! Can't believe I told her, but I feel so much better now!' Vic thought to himself.

Unexpected Things Empty Re: Unexpected Things

Nessa laughed at his words, "Yeah. Well you never brought anything and you spent hours in there so I made sure you had something. I was very sneaky at it," She said grinning at him. "I'm just glad that it wasn't the frosted cupcake I had put in front of you the day before. I think I can still feel the books when I think about those days." She grinned remembering all the memories she had of him. He was always there for her and she now knew that he would always protect her. "Well I didn't get teased after that I guess because no one ever called me that name again." She said softly. "Yes being a healer and helping others does suit you really well Victor." She grinned then sighed at his next question. "Well after school I helped my mom out and then I had met someone. That didn't last long, I...I." She cleared her throat trying to get it out. She was scared of what he would think of her. "I got pregnant, the guy I met lied about everything about himself. I don't know where he is and he doesn't know about Sascha." She looked down at the table tears forming in her eyes.

She blushed more at his words but she knew that he meant them. He always meant what he said to her and it made her happy when he meant those things. She smiled back at him when he said she always saw the good in people. "Well people have a way of making it hard on themselves to see the good in themselves." When he said that it was one of the things he loved about her she looked at him curiously. Her heart stopped when he confessed that he loved her. She looked at him in disbelief but at the same time she felt a flutter in her heart, "You love me?" She asked looking at him, her hand gripping his a little harder but not enough to hurt. She thought about all the times that she had gotten angry at his ex's who tried to spread rumors about him. Then everything he did to help her, she looked at him and realized that she might possibly be in love with him as well. He was all she thought about for several years, she didn't want to disrupt his life with the complications of her own. "Why didn't you tell me? Well of course I can't blame you I've had a crush on you since fifth year, you were always so handsome. I didn't think that I could ever compete with the girls that you dated." She said softly moving her eyes down again.

Unexpected Things Empty Re: Unexpected Things

Post by Victor Faulkner Thu Nov 19, 2015 2:18 am

Vic laughed but knew that was the the truth, he spent hours studying for his OWLs and NEWTs, but he always studied and made high narks when he was in Hogwarts. Vic was told often that he probably would have made a good Ravenclaw, but he didn't see himself as a Ravenclaw no natter how smart he was. He remembered when Nessa asked him if was sure if he wasn't sorted into the wrong house, he laughed and told her no, he was a Gryffindor at heart, which he truly was.

Vic laughed. "Yeah good thing it was only a sandwich if I remembered, and why did you do that? I know that you wanted to help, but you were the only one who was able to sneak in there without me knowing and give me snacks."said Vic. Vic laughed. "I think I got the worse end if it, I tried protecting you from most of them."said Vic. "That's because I beat up whoever called you that, they didn't dare calk you that, not in front of me and Kace."said Victor. "Thanks Nessa, but you know me,I always put others before myself."said Victor. He loved helping people,he loved it probably more then doing crazy and wild things. There was anger in Victor's eyes, he didn't understand why someone would leave someone as beautiful, nice and sweet as Nessa was it didn't make sense to him. "You have a daughter, how old is she? I would like to meet her."said Victor. "I'm sorry he left Nessa, he didn't know what he had."said Vic hugging her.

Vic seen her blushing and smiled, he always thought that she looked cute and adorable when she blushed, especially when she tried hiding her face from him. "With all the stuff that happened this past few years, it's hard to find happiness, and when you do it's sucked out like a dementor sucking out a human soul."said Vic sighing. Vic nodded. "Yes Nessa I do, if you don't feel the same way I understand, just had to get off my chest."said Vic. "You thought I was handsome? Wow... I had no idea, I guess never realized that you did, thought you seen me ad a friend."said Vic. Vic put his hand gently under her chin making her look up at him. "None of those girls compared to you, that's why my relationship never lasted because they think there was something going on between us, and no matter how much I denied it I wished there was."said Vic.
