Pepper was still in awe.

She was finally in Hogwarts, after all those months of sleepless nights tossing and turning dreaming of what it would be like - she finally got here. It was even better than what she expected, and she hadn't thought that was even possible. Every time that she ate in the Great Hall, the floating candles captivated her attention and she had to wolf down her meal so that she wouldn't end up starving in the middle of the night. Fighting the urge to get up and explore the castle in the middle of the night, when it was empty (as she prefers) made sleeping hard enough without adding hunger on top of it.

At the moment, in between admiring Pepper was sitting curled up by the fire in the Ravenclaw common room, reading over one of the books her parents had purchased for her to read over her time at Hogwarts. Naturally it became more interesting than all her textbooks put together, and she had to give it a glance first. It was a book detailing information about wand making, more specifically the history of Ollivander's shop in Diagon Alley. Since she entered that shop for the first time, a rather inexplicable urge to just know how wands work overcame her - and it made her happy her parents remembered enough to buy her this book.

Glad that the common room was blissfully empty, Pepper didn't have to worry about other people interrupting her reading even though secretly she wished someone would. It was amazing here at Hogwarts, but she couldn't help but think that it might be even more amazing if she had some friends to keep her company.

For Tiffany it would be already third year in Hogwarts. She still learn everyday new things about magic and about magical world too. She is muggleborn who didn't know anything about magic until she was 11. She knew she was different but she had no idea why or how but now knows who she is already well. The witch who can use magic.

She still can remember her first year in Hogwarts very well, it was like a yesterday. She did had ao much fun and could learn so much about magic around here now. Even if she was sad thar her parents didn't really suported that who she was now. They didn't likw it but she couldn't change their opinion and still can't.

Tiffany walked into the common room. She had visited the library and got there few books to read. Her parents never didn't bought any good books so she had to barrow them from libraries. She placed books on table with a tumph sound. She sighed since she wanted do it quietly. "Sorry," she addes and took a seat in armchair near fire. She wanted to be warm. She did take her first book. It was about Magic, how it started and so on. It was one of her favorite books and she have read it couple of times.

Pepper had been engrossed within her book about wand making, writing some notes about other books that she could look in the library for later on while she was reading. It was because of this focused attention on her reading that she failed to notice someone coming over to sit close by her, that was until they dropped a stack of books loudly upon a table nearby. The sound of their bindings hitting the wood slapped through the air and made her jolt out of her reading rather harshly.

Immediately her eyes glance to the origin of the sound and see that there is another Ravenclaw, looking to read by the fire with her. Gulping softly, Pepper shifted her position into sitting upright, her legs crossed on the floor, with the book she was reading perched in the well her legs created in front of her. It was remarkably less relaxed than the other position she had been in, with her back leaning against an unoccupied chair, and her legs sprawled akimbo on the floor.

"Its..ah...its quite alright." Pepper whispered softly running a hand nervously through her hair.

Casting her eyes back down to her book, trying desperately to lose herself as she had been lost before in the words on the page, Pepper realised that it was a losing battle. Maybe this would be an opportunity for her to at least attempt to be social, as her parents kept advising her to be. At least she could tell them that she tried.

"What are you reading?" she asked, a little louder than intended, "If you don't mind telling me that is."

Tiffany did kept slowly reading her book there and sometimes looked at the fire and then that other girl. The reading was even boring for her but she didn't say it out. She sighed and still kept reading. She basically knew already what is written there. It happens when you read it too many.

When she heard girl talking she looked at her and smile.  "I'm basically reading book about Magical History or just Magic history," she said there now with a smile. "What about you?" She decided to ask back from her basically the same question. She just was curious. 'Oh, I'm Tiffany," she decided to introduce herself.

Pepper decided that whatever her fellow Ravenclaw appeared to be reading, it was something that she shouldn't look forwards to. It appeared to be very boring if her continued glances away from the pages indicated anything - perhaps she had already read it before? Regardless, Pepper bit her lip slightly and decided it would be acceptable for her to continue reading her book, if this girl was doing the same.

Worrying her lip between her teeth, Pepper stroked the feathers on her owl bookmark as she removed it from her place within her own book. The pages became a welcome distraction from the, admittedly rather small, interaction with the girl sitting across from her. In a way, it was pleasant, not feeling pressured to speak and make conversation interesting as both were busy with other things.

"I uhm, I'm reading a book about wand making." Pepper replied, glancing up from the line she had been reading to make eye contact with the other girl "My parents bought it for me." she added, injecting a little bit of personal information into the conversation for a change.

Smiling, her usual small smile, at Tiffany, Pepper inclined her head in greeting. It was always nice to meet the people of her house, even if they didn't become fast friends - they would still be able to pass the time of day with each other.

"Pleased to meet you Tiffany, I'm Pepper." she replied, with a slightly wider smile.

Tiffany smiled at girl and nodded her head. She haven't read that book yet, about wand making. She haven't found that book yet from the library at all. She sighed when she said that her parents did brought it for her.

"At least you have parents who buy you books like this. I just can boy all book what we need in lessons, nothing else. I'm muggleborn and my parents doesn't like that i'm witch at all. But they still did let me come here," she said there now and she wasn't that happy about it. She really wished that her parents would accept who she is now, not who she isn't. It's been soon already three years.

"It's pleased to meet you too, Pepper," she said there with a smile now. "You are first year right?" she asked then since she haven't seen girl around in previous years at all.

Pepper didn't really want to comment on what Tiffany just told her. She didn't think it was appropriate, for one, to tell someone who you barely knew something so personal and she felt pressured to tell her something personal in return. Of course she knew that, or rather she hoped that, Tiffany had not done this on purpose and so didn't dwell on it too much. Merely inclining her head slightly, Pepper took a moment to think about how she should reply.

"It must be hard, to not have support. I am certain the Professors here will support you, if needed, in place of your parents though." Pepper replied, perhaps a little more formally than required.

Hoping to move away from personal topics, for fear of having to give personal information about herself out, Pepper's eyes shifted back down to the page she was reading a minute or two before. It was one inside of the many chapters about Ollivander.

"Yes I am a first year." Pepper stated with a small smile "What year are you in? I don't think I have seen you in any of my lessons either but....I might have been wrong."

Tiffany didn't mind to talk about it. Basically it was her life and she can'r change it even if she wants. She still gets some support from professors and she herself is filling to learn much herself. She always learns something new. Every day.

"Yeah they do but I don't need that support so much," she said there and sighed. She did get that Pepper didn't really wanna talk about it so she didn't say much.

"I'm already in third year," she said with a smile. "I'm not sure if we have anything together. We don't have her lessons lately per years but here is pods where is students from every year and house basically," she said then with a smile.

Pepper appreciated that Tiffany wasn't going to be talking about things she deemed as personal situations, she didn't know why but something about discussions like that set her on edge. She really wanted to get to know someone first before inquiring about their family situation or something, in case she offended them, or touched a sensitive topic by accident.

"Well I am certain that if you need a fellow student to talk over stuff with, I shall always lend you an ear." she offered shyly "If I'm not here then you will most likely find me in the Library."

Tilting her head to one side, Pepper's lips drew into a small frown. Oh yes she knew very well that all the years were mixed in together, it had given her a heart attack when she had first seen older students in her classroom. She was certain she had walked into the wrong place, but, apparently Hogwarts had a new system.

"I know." she sighed softly "I don't much like it if I'm honest."

Tiffany to be honest didn't like talk much about her family too. But sometimes she said something about them and just later did realizes it. She did take a deep breath, she didn't really wanna even think about her parents that much, they were just some people in her life who she loves no matter what.

"Oh that sounds like goo idea for sure," she said there with a smile. "Same goes for me. But sometimes I tend to be near the lake too if im not in library or here," she added there.

Actually Tiffany at her first lesson did get it too. She isn't really used with it too yet. She really doesn't like it much but she can't complain about it to anyone either.

"To be honest I don't like it much too," she said it out to there now.
