Name: Nymeria Evanesco
Age: 19 (according to app she'll be 20 soon)
Ability Desired: Astral Projection
Level Desired: Intermediate
Family History: She got it from her mother's side of family, her mother, her grandfather and her grandfather's mother had the same ability and they passed it to Nymeria.
Training: Nymeria was one of few student sin Beauxbatons who inherited the ability of astral projection. She inherited it from her mother who got it from her father, and before  her grandfather astral projection was observed only twice more in their family tree, once in 1254. when witch named Maora had it, and the other time when some wizard named Josif had it, but it's not known with certainty because he died young in muggle WWI.
As soon as her divination professor got a letter from her grandfather in which he told him she inherited his ability, the professor make her promise him she'll go to meetings of groups of students who had the same ability every Saturday at six pm. On that meetings his professor was teaching them how to develop and use it. Nymeria at first hated the meetings. She was the only second yeard student among them, the others were older, three of them were 16, two of them were 14, and one of them was 15.
Their professor belived they'll faster develop their ability if they start practicing at an early age. They needed to listen narrative of historical events related to astral projection first, then he told them how to do it and he did it himself, and then  they were left alone at the mercy of trying to repeat what he did. Unsuccessfully.
They could leave in the early morning, when he judges that they were trying hard enough. Among other things, they could not tell anyone for training, which was one of the main reasons why they took place at night. Their headmistress considered that is the only way to keep their privacy, but they are willing to practice at high noon if that would give them extra couple hours of sleep  that they were denied. Anyway, none of them managed to move even a nose out of their body so they shouldn't need to be worry that they will be seen. Nymeria slowly became angry, hated the training more and more, she did not know where they got all this crazy idea that they can do it, and then, at her fifth year – she did it. She was one at the latest among them, it took her three years of training but she succed at the end.
The moment she left her body she felt featherweight, free and unusual. It ended too soon. She managed to stay only for about twenty seconds before she returned back into her body. But she know how to do it, and with help of her techer they all managed to stay about 20 minutes outside of ther bodies.  Although she knew she isn't an advanced yet, she is sure she'll make it. Once.
Brief RP: It's just one usual day, birds are flying, sun is shining, and she must learn about stupid goblin rebellions in the library instead of entertaining outdoors. Maybe if she.. No, librarian will notice her and she'll end up in hospital because they thought she fainted, again. First time it was funny and they didn't suspect anything, but even if she convince them to accidentally fainted three times, it would be a little harder to make that a seventh time, they would send a latter to her dad, and he would know that she doesn't faints. maybe he would even said to them what's she doing, and they would put her in sentence till the end of her schooling, and when she returns home for holidays her father would put her in a sentence, again. If they caught her, her life will end. But, what's life without a little risk? She glanced at a librarian only to see if she's still sleeping at her desk. She is. Wonderful. Nym closed her eyes imagining how her body is only paper which needs to torn apart to get out. It was easy, at one moment she was still squeezing her eyes, and then she step out of herself. Nymeria glanced toward herself, and seen her body sitting on a chair with books in her hands,it looks like she is sleeping. Nym smiled and passed through the wall.


And she's in training for animagus, so she isn't one, yet.

Nymeria, you've applied for some complicated skills here, but she hasn't had any formal training at any of them. Thats a problem for me--for all of them. She needs some sort of formal training at all of them in order to have intermediate skills. Without that, she won't be more than a beginner at any of them. Please add that she was formally trained during her school years for the abilities you have requested.

Further--she simply is too young to be advanced at telepathy. She can be intermediate--if she's trained, but if we make her advanced, at her young age, she'd be overpowered, and we honestly do try to keep characters balanced. When a player has a character with too much power, it often creates problems for other players. So, yeah, we have to dial her down a little.

Can you define formal training, please, so I can fix it accordingly? Oh, and I changed telepathy to intersomething (can't remember that word nowise, sry), and memory manipulation to beginner, but I haven't changed "Training" part yet, for astral projection because timeline is described, and until I don't find out what's formal training I don't know what to add.

she needs to have worked on those skills in school--in classes, with her professors. not just on her own.

Can she learn it with someone adult at home (for example astral projection with her grandfather who had the same ability because its inherited), or that must be professors because it is not likely that professor will learn student how to read others thoughts (it's more likely in Durmstrang than Beauxbatons), among others the professor's thoughts too, but if that can be some other worker (librarian, professor's assistant etc.) at school it's seems more possible he/she would do it.

not true. remember, harry learned legilimens directly from snape. he just had to learn it before Dumbledore had intended that for him. its not enough for her to just learn it at home---not for the skill level you want for her. some of those skills, like astral projection and telepathy might well be taught in divination class--where many of the skills of the seer's trade are taught. memory manipulation might be there too or in a dada class since it would be used as a weapon of some sort.

Occlumency. Anyway I edited it, left only astral projection and training for animagus. I hope it's okay now.  

its fine. however, remember, I didn't say she couldn't have the other abilities--I only asked that the history be changed so that she had some school training in those subjects.

but I will add the astral projection.

Training: He studied under his father who works with an Animagus so has seen how it should be done.
Brief RP:
John stood with the teacher after several Months of trying he found his focus to change back and forth. John stood facing his father he knew he'd have do it in front of a professor and here was his chance.

"Okay lets try again." He told him and John nodded. He stood shirtless and with just shorts on. Closing his eyes he focused picturing running threw the forest on four paws his ears twitch at every sound it picked up as the wind blew threw the leaves around him.

Slowly he felt his bones twist and shift inside him at first it had hurt him to change now he just fell to his knees as slowly he found himself shift into a gray wolf, his body contorted  as his body changed to that of a wolf, a single stripe of black ran down his back and over one eye as he lay breathing hard now looking up at his father who moved to kneel in front of him.

"That was the easy part John, now shift back to human form." He said John stayed laid for a moment among the leaves on the forest floor as he cough his breath he knew he had do it. He relaxed his body and thought of his human form, once again he felt the bones twist and shift he fought hard to focus on his human self and not the pain he felt as the bones and skin once more shifted and twisted into human shape. Soon he lay breathing hard in front of his father once more in form as human form as he was now wrapped in a blanket

john,  it is not realistic that he would be intermediate in animagus abilities.  i'm not sure how he would learn that from steven b/c steven is not an animagus.  steven is half veela. i'm really confused.

edit: he might be a beginner at nonverbal magic. but no more than that.

question....are you asking him to speak to snakes or some other animal? which animal do you want?
