Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

End of the Day - Page 3 Empty Re: End of the Day

Post by Guest Wed Jul 10, 2013 9:51 pm

Mavis' eyes rounded and saddened as Molly began to move the items and the bin away from her in an orderly fashion. 'No. Molly. Trust me. We can get the house elves to help!' The mucky girl began, 'MOLLY QUICK COME WITH ME!' Mavis screamed thrusting herself up from the floorboards - still holding the rotten stink pellet. 'Lets go and look in the common room where we can put the decorations!'

Waddling over Mavis sat besides Molly on the bed ready to go into more detail about her decorating idea. MEOW!! The Gryffindor had sat on the cat's tail, causing it to shriek and wither, scratching the bedding in an empty to escape. However it was no use, Mavis' behind was too big to set free from. 'We could even use our bedding to make like curtains on the roof!' Mavis continued, not even noticing she was causing incredible pain to a poor cat. 'Then the tissue and tampons can dangle from them!'

End of the Day - Page 3 Empty Re: End of the Day

Molly stared at Mavis, not knowing what to think. This girl was absolutely insane, she thought. Part of her just wanted to let Mavis go to the common room and leave her in peace. It didn't seem right though, Molly sort of felt sorry for her. Mavis just seemed to want to be liked, but went about it in completely the wrong way.

It was then Mavis sat on Tarla. Well, only her tail, but it was enough to anger Molly. She loved her cat as much as she did her family and she couldn't bare to see it in pain like that.

"MAVIS! You're sitting on Tarla! Get off of her! Look how upset you're making her!" Molly's voiced was raised as she stared at Mavis.

The decorating ideas had completely vanished from her mind, Tarla being the only thing on her mind. Poor Tarla, Molly thought, vowing to get her some treat for having to put up with Mavis sitting on her. Then she thought she also deserved a treat, for having to put up with Mavis. The girl could be a bit of a pain sometimes.

Molly tried to push Mavis off of Tarla's tail, and ease it out. Pulling the tail could only lead to broken bones, which wouldn't be good. They could be fixed, but Molly didn't want to have to take Tarla to the Nurse, in case it was discovered she was half kneazle, since students were only really supposed to have cats at school.

End of the Day - Page 3 Empty Re: End of the Day

Mavis was suddenly interrupted by Molly screaming about her cat. Looking around behind her Mavis noticed a furry creature attempting to set free from her behind. 'Oh No!' Mavis cried in unison with Tarla's meows as she lept up from the bed releasing the cat, who shot right into Molly's arms.

'I'm so sorry little kitty!' Mavis whispered in a goofy voice, hopping, on her good leg, a step closer to Molly. Mavis reached out her hand to stroke the cat but poor Tarla began to turn her face away and shake in fear.

'Let me help Molly I'm good with animals!' Mavis cried clutching the cat from Molly's grasp, who then began to meow again and wither about in the chubby girls arms. It was true, compared to every other area of magic the one thing Mavis was actually okay at was care of magical creatures. She wasn't fantastic but good enough to pass the subject.

End of the Day - Page 3 Empty Re: End of the Day

[[OOC: One day, I will be faster at replying to threads. One day when this isn't my only thread on PA... Sorry!]]

Tarla flew into Molly's arms and away from Mavis. Molly wrapped herself around her pet, as if to shield it from Mavis. She was at least satisfied to see Mavis seemed to be upset about hurting Tarla. If she didn't...well, Molly would have had a lot to say if she didn't!

"You've done enough damage already." Molly simply said. She wasn't trying to be mean to Mavis, but as Tarla was currently still afraid and looked like she was trying to avoid looking at Mavis, she thought it best not to encourage Mavis over.

As always, though, Mavis needed no encouragement. She tried to prize Tarla from Molly's arms, Tarla not being too impressed with the ordeal, attempted to claw at Mavis' arms. Tarla didn't want to be away from her owner, well at least she didn't seem to want to be anywhere near Mavis.

"Tarla needs some time away from you, to forget. It's not going to happen in an instant. She's a really intelligent cat." Molly told Mavis, very proud of her cat, though not wanting to give away that she wasn't exactly all cat...

End of the Day - Page 3 Empty Re: End of the Day

Mavis hadn't been listening to what Molly was saying she was too busy trying to fight the escaping Tarla from her grasp and was completely blocking out the sound when. Meowww!! The cat scratched Mavis fingers advisement in her squirm.
'Ouch!' Mavis squealed dropping Tarla who pelted out of the open door to escape Mavis - knocking her crutch over leaving the girl to plummet noisely to the ground once again rubbing her scratched fingers.

'Tally is a mean old cat!' Mavis cried not even realising thatshe had gotten her name wrong and not realised it was her who provoked such as wild escape method for Tarla. Usually Mavis didn't see the bad in animals, she had once had a pet tarantullar as a young girl and loved all sorts of creatures no matter how big or small but the shock of such a brutal act when Mavis was - or when Mavis thought - she was being so kind had caused to become irrational, not that she ever was rational.

'Do you think I should decorate the dormitory with the used tissues and tampons to try and call a friendship?' She asked Molly dumbly in an attempt to recover from the mistake she'd made.

Molly glared at Mavis. Nobody insulted Tarla and got away with it.
"Her name is TARLA." she said, getting annoyed "And she isn't a mean cat. She just doesn't like people sitting on her tail and annoying her." Molly justified, her opinion of Mavis going down the drain. Anyone who didn't like Tarla automatically became horrible in her mind.

Molly couldn't believe Mavis still wanted to decorate the dormitory. Well, it wouldn't be very decorative if she used tampons and such, but Molly still couldn't believe Mavis didn't understand...well, basic hygiene!

"Mavis, no. Nobody wants to look at tampons and stuff, it is disgusting." Molly sounded exasperated by now. "Things are in the bin for a reason. Leave them there. If you want to decorate go make some paper chains or something. Something more normal." she suggested, trying to get rid of Mavis. Maybe Mavis would go get some paper and work on stuff in the common room, then Molly could go and track down Tarla. Tarla would need a treat after all that had gone on, Molly thought.
