who is this old Sophia that you speak of?

Sophia was walking aimless around the crowded street of London finding something to do with her time. She really wasn't in the mood to fight or duel anyone at the moment it was to hot to do anything like that. As she came upon the Leaky Cauldron she smirked to herself before pushing open the door. As the bell tinkled above her head she groaned and rolled her eyes before she walked up to the bar. "Hello Sophia, a butterbeer I assume as always?"the bartender asked her smiling. "No not today, a firewhiskey if you please."said Sophia her eyes cold and dull unlike they usually were. "Tough day?"the bartender asked as he gotten her a firewhiskey and handed it to her. "Nah... just wanted something different, to show my new personality."said Sophia smirking.

As she piad for her firewhiskey she looked around for a place to sit around the dim light pub. As she finally seen a spot she headed over towards it and took a seat as a girl glared at her. "I was going to sit here."the girl spat at her. Glaring at the girl Sophia's hair and eyes turned red in anger. "Well I got here first, so if you don't want any trouble and the life suck out of you I suggest that you leave!"said Sophia coldly. As the girl glared at her Sophia hissed at her which made the girl leave which caused Sophia to laugh her cold laugh.

Noticing she left her firewhiskey behind Sophia grabbed it and put it beside her glass of firewhiskey that she already had. "Aw... pity I scared the poor daylights out of her oh well, more firewhiskey for me!"said Sophia smirking as she took a drink of her firewhiskey. Alot of people around the pub knew that this wasn't the real Sophia for they knew how she acted. Although Sophia liked her new self for she was more strong and powerful which she wasn't with her so called 'old' self.

For the first time in a while, Hitame decided to go somewhere without her sister. She wasn't sure what Naomi had planned to do that day, but Hitame just needed some time alone. She needed to think about things, and she needed to try and forget a specific thing that only caused her more pain every time she remembered it. It was hard to forget something like that, especially since she always remembered her parent's deaths now, because of what Barker had done to her.

She could barely even sleep anymore. Her mind was haunted by images of what happened when she and Naomi were only six years old and that they were so fresh in her mind was horrible for her. After being sick in St. Mungo's for a while she also kept hearing the screams of her mother at night, and sometimes during the day when she was around people. She'd actually broken down in public once because of the screams. That wasn't normal, but then again, nothing about Hitame was normal anymore.

The brunette girl soon found herself at the Leaky Cauldron and she stood in front of the door for a few moments before she actually entered it. She barely even noticed the bell tinkling above her head as she entered and she sighed. As soon as she entered her eyes surveyed the dim pub and her gaze fell upon someone familiar. Her eyes seemed to light up, but that was pretty much the only change in her facial expression from the sadness written all over her face. She walked up to the table where the person was and she said softly, "Soph?" questioningly as she noticed that there was something somewhat different about Sophia.

As she seen a young girl standing in front of her table Sophia's cold eyes looked at her and smirked as she seen who it was. "Ah... Hitame, my dear young friend come sit with me."said Sophia. As a waiter came back Sophia motioned him over. "I'll have another firewhiskey and a butterbeer for my friend here."said Sophia. "Ma'am you already have a firewhiskey in front of you why don't you finish that one before you get another."said the waiter. Sophia glared at him with her cold black eyes as her eyes and hair turned red once again.

"Just get me another firewhiskey before I curse you so hard you'll be crying to your mommy, but you don't want that right?"Sophia asked him smirking. As the waiter nodded he wrote down the order before hurrying off leaving Sophia to laugh a cold laugh. "Works every time."said Sophia as her eyes and her hair went back to a black color like they were before she gotten mad. Sophia was sure that Hitame would ask what was wrong with her but she didn't care. Alot of people have and she simply told them she changed but for the better.

Sophia doesn't even remember how her former self was, all she knew that Alistair told her she was weak. Not really knowing Sophia believed Alistair and beleived everything that Alistair told her. To be honest, he was right she did feel powerful and strong like she could take on the world. Sophia liked her new personality for she gotten what she wanted most of the time and she scared people who weren't scared of her.

Hitame nodded slowly as Sophia told her to sit with her. The way she said it was unusual for her and that made Hitame a bit uncomfortable. She made it seem like she didn't notice anything and she just kept her gaze down to the table as Sophia called over a waiter. Her tone to the waiter made her look up at the older girl with widened eyes. That was definitely not like the Sophia she knew. What happened? Why was she suddenly acting the way she was now?

The girl waited until the waiter left before she looked at Sophia with what was believed to be something like fear. But at the same time it was like curiosity filled her eyes. "Soph?" she asked. "Why are you acting like that? It isn't like you." she said softly. Something told her that the Sophia she knew and loved was gone, and she really hoped that feeling was wrong. Although the proof was right in front of her. The Sophia she knew would never have acted that way toward the waiter. She wasn't mean like that, she just wasn't.

Please let me be wrong. she thought. Her memories of her adoptive parents came up and that began to cloud her mind again. She didn't know what to do with these memories anymore. It wasn't like she could just forget them, well maybe she could but she wasn't powerful enough to make herself forget those things. She didn't know what she was supposed to do, but she tried hard to keep her focus on Sophia. She was what mattered right now, not herself.

Sophia looked at Hitame with her cold eyes. "Acting like what Hitame? this is me!"said Sophia calmly. As Hitame said that it wasn't her her eyes turned red in anger. "Why does everyone keep saying this isn't me, what they haven't seen the stronger more powerful side of me?"Sophia asked angrily. "Well... I tell you what Hitame, I think I like this new me for I'm more stronger and powerful."said Sophia happily. "Alistair was right, the old me was weak and pathetic."said Sophia disgusted. "Hitame I feel so strong and powerful like I can do anything."said Sophia.

"The feeling is so unreal Hitame, it's like a brand new world has opened to me that I nevered seen."said Sophia. As she chugged down her firewhiskey she poored her another glass of it. Reading Hitame's thoughts Sophia smirked at her. "No need to be scared of me Hitame, I'm still the same Sophia you know only different."said Sophia looking at her with her cold black eyes. "Why does everyone wish for the old me? I don't even recall this so called 'old' Sophia that you speak of."said Sophia.

As the waiter put a bottle of firewhiskey nervously in front of her Sophia laughed her cold laugh and looked at the waiter. "Get out of my sight, the sight of you is making me sick!"said Sophia as the waiter set Hitame's butterbeeer down on the table and took off. "Ugh... stupid bloody idiot!"Sophia muttered as she took another drink of her firewhiskwey. Thinking of curses to do on him Sophia giggled to herself and continued drinking her firewhiskey.

When Sophia's eyes turned red with anger, Hitame felt her eyes widen. "It isn't you. Soph what happened?" she asked her. As she mentioned someone named Alistair, Hitame tilted her head to the side. "Alistair? Who's Alistair?" she asked softly, sounding obviously confused. "You weren't weak or pathetic! You were a good person, what's wrong with that? I looked up to you, Naomi looked up to you because you were such a good person." she suddenly exclaimed.

When she said that there was no need to be scared of her, she knew that Sophia had read her mind and she winced. "That's the problem." she said softly. "This new you is the problem. I want the Sophia I knew back." she said, tears welling up in her eyes. This was something she always said she wouldn't do, she was never going to cry. She'd even promised it, to bad she couldn't keep the promise.

The way she treated the waiter made the tears spill over her eyes and they began to roll down her cheeks. Though she quickly wiped them away. She stared at the butterbeer in front of her and didn't even move to try and touch it. She watched Sophia drink the firewhiskey and she just really couldn't believe that Sophia had acted the way she did toward the waiter. "What happened?" she said softly.

Trying to recall what happened to her Sophia started thinking back to where she was at St. Mungo's and smirked. "Ah... yes now I remember, I was at St. Mungo's and I was assigned to heal Alistair D'Eath from a potion explosion and from there he convinced me to become evil for it was better."said Sophia softly. "Although he waved his wand over me and muttered a couple of words."said Sophia. Sophia laughed her cold laugh when she said the 'old' Sophia wasn't weak or pathetic. "Let me take a guess at this so called 'old' me was suppose to be."said Sophia pausing for a minute to take a drink of her firewhiskey. "A goody two shoes with a heart of gold that would never harm a fly?"Sophia asked her smirking.

Sophia's eyes turned red when she said that the new her was a problem. "You have no idea the power that I have now Hitame, I never felt like this before."said Sophia glaring at her with her red eyes. When she said she wanted the old Sophia back Sophia shok her head. "I'm sorry Hitame, the 'old' Sophia is dead and gone so get use to it."said Sophia smirking. "The new and stronger Sophia has arrived and she's taking over!"said Sophia laughing her cold laugh.

As she seen Hitame crying she started feeling guilty that she made her cry for a minute. "Don't cry Hit, everything will be ok I promise I'm fighting it!"said Sophia as she shook her head and laughed her cold laugh. "Aw... there, there Hitame at lease you heard from the 'old' Sophia before I destroy her forever."said Sophia. "So goody good and so caring it's pathetic!"said Sophia disgusted.

"Sophia only hurt someone when she had too. Not for fun!" Hitame began to shout after she heard the old Sophia for a moment. "I know she's still in there and I want to get her back!" she said. Sophia's red eyes caused some fear to stir inside her but she wasn't going to let that stop her. She glared at Sophia with determination in her eyes. "I know she isn't gone. You wont be able to destroy her like you want! I know Sophia is strong enough to fight against you!" she said.

She clutched her hands into fist as she heard her last comment and she looked down. "She isn't pathetic!" Hitame screamed out, her tears falling down her cheeks. "The pathetic one is this new Sophia! You have to pray on the weaknesses and fears of others to make yourself seem stronger! That's why I know Sophia will be able to break free from whatever spell she's under and she'll get rid of you!" she screamed, causing a few people to look at her and Sophia.

At this point, Hitame had gotten up and she stood with her head facing the floor. "I'll help her ..." she said softly. "I'll help her come back. I'll find a way to get her back and I'll make sure she stays! I won't let you keep control over her!" the girl cried, looking at Sophia with her tear filled eyes. "I won't let you stay ..." she said softly.

For a minute, the 'old' Sophia came back for a minute with tears in her eyes she smiled warmly at Hitame. "Don't worry Hitame, I'll be back in no time don't worry I'm a fighter."said Sophia softly. "Ugh... will you go away and leave me the hell alone?" the evil Sophia asked the 'old' one. "Never, I won't let you take over I will fight this spell I have on me if it's the last thing I do!"said the 'old' Sophia. As the evil Sophia took over she rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Ugh... I need a way to get rid of her, she's really starting to get annoying breaking through me!"said the evil Sophia.

The evil Sophia looked at Hitame and rolled her eyes. "Oh please Hitame, your just a little thirteen year old girl what are you going to do to me?"the evil Sophia asked laughing her cold laugh. "The only person that would probably be able to take me down is probably Arabella, but if she knows."said the evil Sophia smirking. Hearing Hitame rant about the old Sophia she rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Oh for the love of god, will you shut up?" the evil Sophia asked her. "God your so annyoing, I don't see what the old Sophia seen in you."said evil Sophia.

"You know, I could fix all your problems Hitame and mkae you forget everything that has happened to you."said the evil Sophia smirking. "Maybe just maybe you'll shut up and stop being so annoying!"said the evil Sophia. Getting her wand at out she pointed it at Hitame and smirked. "Obliviate!"

"Then if Arabella is the only one who can stop you, I'll tell her!" she screamed. "I'll get Arabella to bring the old Sophia back!" she continued. She knew that she wasn't strong enough to do any real harm to Sophia, but if she could find her sister and tell her everything that she'd just learned that happened to Sophia, then maybe she could get her back. She didn't know if it would work, but it was worth a shot.

Hitame looked at evil Sophia angrily when she said she was annoying and she didn't see what the old Sophia saw in her. She wasn't mad about the fact that she called her annoying, she'd been called that many times by a lot of people. It just hurt that she was hearing that from Sophia, No! That isn't Sophia! her mind called out to her. She shook her head and looked at Sophia again, a little bit confused as to what she meant by making her forget everything that had happened to her.

Her hand gripped her wand when she saw Sophia move for hers. But she remembered that she couldn't use magic outside of Hogwarts. And Sophia was so much stronger than her, there was no way she would be able to defend herself. She'd debated too long and before she knew it, Sophia had sent a spell her way. Obliviate ... that's, that's as far as she got before the spell made contact with her and she was sent flying a few inches back. She landed on the floor on her back, her eyes shut tightly not wanting to open as the memories that had been haunting her since she was little and her other memories slowly began to disappear.
