What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Cold weather, warm room Empty Cold weather, warm room

Post by Artemis R. Knox Fri Jan 27, 2012 1:25 am

The weather outside was pretty much unbearable, and Danny was seriously not liking having to be stuck in the castle all day because of snow was so high no one could be outside. She was thinking about just sneaking outside and walking out there, but she realized that if she did that there would be a good chance of her getting stuck in the snow outside. But it was just so boring outside and she couldn't stand being alone in the common room right now. She needed to get someone there with her and she didn't know who would want to be with her right now.

She was surely not going to call the two idiots she hung out with, so it had to be someone from her house. A moment of realization passed and she snapped her fingers. Juliet! Of course, her childhood and best friend! She had to be stuck in the castle too, probably even here in the Slytherin Dungeon. Danny jumped off the couch in the common room excitedly and she ran up to the dorms to look for her best friend. She knew no one else would be in the common room at this time, they would be wandering around the castle doing their own things, so she and Juliet would be able to spent some quality time together.

"Jules!" she called when she got into the girl's dormitories. "You in here?" she called again. She stood at the door of the dorms with her hands resting on her hips.

Juliet was sitting on one of the couches waiting for something to to do, hopefully someone would just show up and talk to her. Not that anybody exactly liked her. She had basically no friends and couldn't get over that small fact. It didn't matter to her that she had a lot of money from her parents or that she could just pay people to be her friends. But that didn't exactly make her feel better. She had wished to find more friends, but at least she had Dani. well even though they weren't exactly allowed to be friends they had never grown apart since the day they met, they had onyl grown closer each passing day.

Juliet sighed and reached for the small book on the table in front of her. "damn" she mumbled realizing she had grabbed another's book instead of her own. That meant they had her book. Almost tearing at the thought of someone having all her memories of her father in that book. She had missed him. And life with her mother just hadn't been the same since then. Juliet sighed again and walked to one of the windows and looked out. She hated snow. She thought it should just...melt. All it was good for was people throwing it at her.

Juliet looked back as she heard her name called. "Dani?" She called back, hoping no one heard her, and that it was in fact Danielle. "Danielle, is thatr you?"

Danielle sighed in relief when she heard her friend respond to her call. She walked closer to the girl and smiled at her. "Hey, what're you doing?" she asked casually. She looked around the room and sighed again. "Pretty quiet in here isn't it?" she asked as she looked at Juliet. Even with all that stupid snow outside everyone seemed to be happy and walking all around the school.

Some people might just be outside too! How could they even stand the cold and being knee deep in the snow? If she had to be outside in all that snow, she would probably go crazy. Of course she wasn't stupid enough to go out there with everyone else, she usually preferred to be apart from everyone. She usually thought that all those students were stupid anyways, and if they weren't in her house they would pick on her for being part of the Dark Followers. But they didn't understand that if she had any say in it, Danielle would have chosen not to be part of that group. She would much prefer to be part of Potter's Army, like Juliet or to not even be part of any group. Danielle sighed and sat down on the couch where Juliet had probably been seated, looking up at the girl.

She tilted her head to the side slightly and she noticed that something was wrong with her friend. "What's up? You seem upset." she asked her softly.

Juliet smiled softly, and sadly "yeah, I'm fine, just someone bumped into me in the halls today and switched my book with everything secretive about my life in it with this dumb thing" Juliet grunted angerly as she threw the book across the room. I hate this...I just want my book back!" Juliet growled under her breath and started to tear up. "everything i had of my father was there..." Juliet paused for a second. "hey...do you think there's something weird with that both....Ryo..?" Juliet looked back out the window and saw someone walking.

She smiiled and opened thewindow a little, grabbing a handful of snow then throwing at the walking person. Before they could see who threw it, she slammed the window shut and smiled slyly. "Hey Dani...you wanna go...pranking?" Juliet looked at her friend, still smiling and thought up one name is particular. but then suddenly changed her mind.

Danielle sighed softly and shook her head. She watched as Juliet threw the book across the room and she got up from where she sat to walk toward the book. Danielle picked the book up and flipped through it quickly. "Kinda lame. Everything that's in here, I mean." the girl said pointing down to the book oh her hands. "Jules, if you want it back, let's go get it back. I'll help you." Danielle told her friend and smiled at her. She looked down at the book for a moment until she heard Juliet mention Ryo. "Ryo? Oh you mean that Hufflepuff boy?" she asked. "You mean, you don't know what he is?" Danielle asked, with her eyebrow raised.

The girl saw her friend open the window and throw snow at someone who was walking. She covered her mouth and stiffled a giggle. When she heard Juliet ask if she wantes to go pranking, her eyes immediately brightened. "You know it!" she laughed. "Who do you have in mind?" Danielle crossed her arms over her stomache.

Juliet smiled. "i'm not exactly sure." She smiled more and looked at the book once. "what's it about? you know the book?" She looked at her friend again. "and no, i don't know what he is....is he a dark follower like you?" She asked looking back out the window at the boy she saw. "As far as i know he doesn't have any friends for whatever he is." Juliet rolled her eyes and laughed softly. "unless he's like me and nobody really likes him for his family's past." Juliet stuck her hand out the window again and grabbed a handful of snow, then closing the window after pulling her hand in.

"But you know, i doubt it's that, i mean he's kinda popular among the girls so it's not that, maybe it's just the fact he's antisocial." Juliet pondered over the thought and started licking the snow with her tongue casually. "Then again, maybe i don't see him being social...he rarely talks to anyone though, I haven't talked to him yet." She smiled and sighed softly. "Oh well. it doesn't really matter to me, he might be good for pranking?" Juliet looked at her friend hopeful. "Wanna prank him? he's in the nurse."

Danielle smiled at her friend and shook her head. "Looks like it belongs to a Ravenclaw, a younger one by the looks of the book. I think it's a diary." Danielle smirked. She looked at Juliet and shook her head once more. "No, no. He's not a Dark Follower." she said and she took a step toward the girl. "That kid's a vampire." she whispered to Juliet. She didn't know much more about the boy, and she didn't know if she should bother knowing anything more about him.

She laughed a little bit at her comment of him being popular among girls. "You know you're right about that. But the only reason he's so popular with them right now is because he doesn't pay attention to them. Someone told me that a girl from his house, a veela from the looks of it, follows him around because he is the only boy in that entire house who doesn't fall for her." Dani laughed at her comment. She raised her eyebrow at what her friend said and she nodded. "Oh yeah, I would love to make a vampire angry. I wanna see what he does." she smirked, as she threw the book down on the table near them.

Juliet shrugged. "let's go then." She glanced at the book. "Who's book is it anyways? Doesn't even really look like a diary." Juliet continued to eat the snow that was now melting in her palm. "He's a vampire? I didn't think they'd let anyone like him in here. And if a veela follows him, he's in serious trouble. Hm. Maybe i'll stalk him just to scare him a little. But what kind of prank do you have in mind? We cant piss him off too much, he might come after me and suck my blood!"

Juliet Laughed loudly and rolled her eyes. "as if that'll happen though." Juliet rolled her eyes for a second time and looked at the door. "you think whoever has my book is reading it?" Juliet thought a moment and crossed the room in a matter of seconds, she grabbed the book and started to skim through it, "Well from the looks of it, they were following me." Juliet looked up at Dani and gave a confused look in her direction. "Who do you think it is?"

Danielle shrugged looking down at the book. "Dunno. Just some Ravenclaw, I think." she told the other girl. She nodded and sighed. "Yeah, he is. There are a whole bunch of them running around the school." Danielle said softly, waving her hand passingly. "I know right? If she doesn't get him to fall for her soon, she won't ever leave him alone!" the girl laughed. "Oh but you know what else I heard about him? He's in love with a werewolf!" Danielle laughed louder, putting her fingers on her forehead and tilting it back slightly. "Like seriously. How could he fall in love with one of those who he's supposed to hate." she continued to laugh. "Don't worry about it Jules, he won't do anything like that to you." she winked slightly at her friend. "From the looks of it, he doesn't drink the blood of those who are alive." the Slytherin smirked.

The girl brought her hand to her face completely and nodded. "If they were following you, then of course they are reading your book. We have to find the kid that did it!" she exclaimed, extending her arms out to emphasize her worry. Dani bit her lip a little and shrugged at Juliet. "I have no idea who it could be Jules. We have to go based on what we know. But should we do this first or prank that boy, Ryo?" Danielle asked. "Cause I have a pretty good idea on what to do to him." she smiled at Juliet.

Juliet smiled softly, "let's go find them then," she said looking a bit worried. "you know....i never did really understand why we cant be friends....it sucks!" She exclaimed softly. Juliet looked at her friend and sighed. "we prank later, let's go find the little ravenclaw and see why he has my book." Juliet looked kind of disapointed, she really wanted t0 prank the vampire kid, but her friendship and secrets that were in that book were more important.....she really couldn't risk her friendship with Dani. She was her only friend as far as she knew.

"I really hope they didn't read that or...or ill kill them!" She screamed in fury. "its not fair that i work so hard in keeping that book safe and some little loser gets it from me and doesn't give it back as soon as they can....they're soooooo dead" She yelled more. Juliet glanced to the window and wondered who would even think about taking her book.
