Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Jemma stepped into The Leaky Cauldron. She couldn't remember the last time that she had set foot in that place. This place. She wasn't used to it. She looked around the room. It didn't seem to have changed at all. The wooden beams were there, same as ever. Well if they weren't, the place would have fallen down, so it's a bloody good thing that they are, Jemma thought. She just stood by the doorway for a moment, taking everything in. Until of course, someone wanted to actually enter the pub and she had to unblock the doorway.

She walked over to the bar, thinking she should probably buy something. After all, it would be rude to stay and not to get anything. Scanning the menu, she decided to stick with a butterbeer. It reminded her of her childhood a bit - it was always what everyone drank.

"One butterbeer please," she asked the barman, leaning against the bar. She didn't want to sit at the bar and she knew if she sat down she wouldn't be able to get back up again. She handed over the correct change and took her drink and turned around to face the rest of the room. She spotted an open table across the other side of the room.

Jemma was making her way across the room when she tripped over a chair leg and although she managed to stop herself from falling over; she spilt half of her butterbeer over herself and the floor.

"Shit," automatically came out, "Excuse my language." she then hastily added, in case there were children around. She placed her butterbeer down on the empty table and got out her wand to clear up the mess. Luckily she managed the charm, despite not using it in years. She got up from the floor and checked for any stray butterbeer on her clothes or the floor. Way to make a memorable return to the pub, she thought to herself.
