Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Leaving it all up to fate Empty Leaving it all up to fate

Jake wandered around Diagon Alley having no real place in mind where he wanted to go. He was wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans with black and white converse sneakers. When he had left Hogwarts to go to Diagon Alley he had wanted to buy some new robes, since his had become all torn and tattered. They weren't even presentable anymore. But as he got there he wondered what was the point, besides not getting in trouble for not wearing the robes, for buying them? They were just going to get torn again. He never could keep his clothes looking new for more than a few days, at the most a few months. It was the same with his shoes, they were always torn in only a few weeks of buying them, even as a little kid he always needed new clothes before even his sister needed them.

Either way he bought some robes, two robes to be exact, and was just walking around now. He didn't want to go back to the school yet, but it was boring to just walk around like a lost puppy. He sighed and ran his hand through his hair, making it even more messy than it already was. He hadn't really bothered to comb his hair today, because with his hair he really didn't have to. All he did was run his hands through his hair, put some water on it, and it stayed the way he wanted it.

God, Nikki thought. It had been a very depressing last few days. She's felt like that all that she's done since she came back from her stupid tour was cry her eyes out or hurt someone she loved dearly. She wanted to go out and be with people, but she decided not to be with people she had hurt or cried infront of. Maybe this was time to go out and meet new people.

Nikki was simply wearing skinny leggings that looked like jeans, ugg boots, white singlet, and a black cardigan. She had straightened her hair, but didn't bother with any make up, as she feared that if she saw someone she wanted to be with but couldn't because of what's been happening, she didn't want to waste make up.

She wasn't looking where she was going, just looking at her feet, walking through Diagon Alley. She kept walking, until she bumped into someone head on. This caused her to trip onto her face. Great, Nikki though, just another thing she deserved. She didn't even bother getting up straight away...she just felt like giving up.

Not paying attention to where he was going was something Jake always did for some reason. But he had never run into anyone. That is until now. This time he was walking down Diagon Alley just looking up at the sky and occasionally hearing people curse at him for not looking where he was going, then suddenly he felt himself plummeting to the ground, face first. He managed to catch himself just before he hit the ground, and he pushed himself back up.

Feeling a little dazed he looked down to the ground to find that he had collided with a girl, and that she hadn't yet gotten up.He extended his hand toward her. "I'm so sorry, I should have watched where I was going." he said, rubbing the back of his head with the hand he wasn't extending to the girl. He felt stupid now, since this had never happened to him before.

Nikki rolled over onto her back and saw the guy had extended his arm to help her up. She was suprised, as some people would just get up, roll their eyes at their victim and walk away. Then there were few who stayed to make sure their victim was okay. She smiled weakly and took his hand and got up from the ground and dusted off as much dirt off her clothes as she could, but didn't really care as she looked rather ratty today anyway.

"Um, no, it's my fault, I shouldn't have been staring at my feet," Nikki apologized to the guy. He seemed cute, and was very sweet to her. That made her day somewhat brighter in a way. "I'm sorry," Nikki added. She did dust off a bit more dirt now, because of the guy...maybe because she worried what he was thinking of her, of the way she was dressed.

Jake looked the girl over, making sure she wasn't hurt from the fall. "Are you okay? DId you get hurt?" he asked a little worried. He felt really bad for knocking her over, even though it was unintentional. He ran a hand through his messy hair, trying to smooth it back and smiled kindly at the girl. "Okay, well how about this, It was both our faults." he said, not wanting her to take all the blame, since it was half his fault for not looking where he was going. He wpied himself off a little and lokked back at her.

He could tell she was a nice person and he liked that. "Oh by the way my name is Jake. Jake Collins." he introduced himself. It was the most polite thing to do that he could think of. He smiled again - a wide grin that hardly ever crossed his face. She was a little.. underdressed..(maybe not the term) but she seemed to be dressed better than Jake was.
