Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Either is fine, i don't really mind how people nominate themselves.

Oh, and i'll be starting the elections during the update, so get your nominations in before then.

Alrighty then, I nominate Daniel Joshua Cethin. I think he'd be a great minister, since he takes care of Luna and Brienne well enough to show a ton of responsibility.

I think Khaat is good option for minister too though she already has Chief Warlock at Wizengamot s0 in case she gets the minister i (in meaning of Gabrielle) could be chief warlock Very Happy

Is Gabrielle still evil? Was she ever evil, or am I just hallucinating it.

Anyway, I nominate anyone who isn't on the general side of "good"

ROFL! He owns a lot of things, but not the stargate. But he is quite an interesting fellow. BTW, he's Khaat's dad, and Remus Lupin's older brother. Just FYI.

Admins choose the minister themselves. You can't allow members to nominate or else they will nominate the most popular character on the site, which isn't necessarily the right person for the job. Its not realistic either for a regular ministry worker or order member to become minister overnight.

Yeah Selwyn I have ^^

The thing is, if the elections ultimately lead to a good choice for the minister, then I'd be willing to support that. However things on PA don't often work that way, and its possible the members might elect an unrealistic minister like the previous one - who was also elected.
