Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

The English weather was too good to pass up. Phaedra picked out a pretty spring dress and threw it on. She didn’t do much to her hair; instead choosing to just brush it and put a few grips in it. She picked up her quilted messenger bag and put a book inside. She left her house and made sure to lock the front door before walking down the steps and heading into London. Her sandals made funny clip-clop noises against the pavement but it wasn’t an unpleasant sound. Phaedra walked to one of the parks near her home and opened the gate. She walked inside and took up residence under one of the apple trees there. She put her bag down and looked up to see a ripe, juicy apple hanging from one of the branches. She clapped her hands and the apple fell from the branch. She caught it and rubbed it against the skirt of her dress before biting into it.

Phaedra took her book out of her bag and opened it from where she had left off. She put the bookmark on the floor beside her feet and bit into the apple again. Her eyes drifted down to the elegantly presented words that were printed onto the paper and she began to read, taking in the information that the author was giving the reader. She’d read the book many times and the name on the spine had long since worn off. She bit some more of the apple and leaned against the tree as her eyes flicked across the pages in the book. The day was perfect. She hadn’t thought in a million years back in Greece that she would have found herself under an apple tree in England within a few weeks. Things like that didn’t happen to her. Although, evidently they did.

Fleur desided to walk throw the park. as she walked she didn't really look where she was going and tirped over a bag that was lain on the ground. then when she saw what had happened she looked at the owner of the bag and said "i am so very sorry."

And so, with one final blow it ended and the street was silent. It was as if nothing had happened. The dead looked like dolls, so perfect and so undamaged. It was as if they had just been deposited there and had yet to have life breathed into them. Tears flooded her eyes and- Phaedra’s reading was cut off when she heard a voice near to her and she looked up to see a woman with blonde hair looking incredibly apologetic. Phaedra put her bookmark inside the book and closed it. She pulled her bag a little closer to her and smiled. “Don’t worry about it.” She said pleasantly although she was secretly wondering why the woman didn’t see the bag. It wasn’t hard to spot – it wasn’t as if it blended in with the grass.

Phaedra put her book back in her bag and studied the woman before her. She figured that the woman must have been a half-Veela. The good looks gave that much away but she’d aged and had long since lost some of the youthful beauty that the Veelas were known for. It wasn’t as if she wasn’t exceptionally beautiful any more but she had aged and matured which changed her features. She definitely didn’t have the regal beauty that she once must have had. Phaedra nodded slowly. “Yes.” She said after a few moments. “Perhaps you should.” She didn’t know if the woman was fishing for compliments or what but she decided to agree with her. At least she could stay out of line of fire that way.

OOC: Umm...could you maybe post a bit more? Just to give me more to work with and could you watch your spelling?

What was the book you where reading?" she asked still not knowing what to say. a few clouds Floated in the sky hiding the sun for a second befor moveing again. casting sadows across peoples faces befor the warmness of the sun disappered as Fleur ran her hand throw her hair a few times

“Phaedra.” She said simply. Obviously it was Fleur Delacour from the Tri-Wizard Tournament of ’95. Plus, the accent sort of gave it away. Phaedra dropped her arms onto her lap and called another apple down to her. She caught it and bit into it before glancing at the woman. “Quite.” She agreed, glancing up at the sky. “Nothing particularly important, a local writer.”
