Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Buying a wand Empty Re: Buying a wand

Sterling walked into Ollivander's wand shop. He already had a wand back from America where he used to attend school, but Ollivander was generally thought to be a better wand maker. He entered and asked shyly, "Can I have an Ash wand with a Unicorn Hair core, 12 inches, that's nice and supple, and it would be best if it was good for defensive spells."

Buying a wand Empty Re: Buying a wand

Daniel walk down the alleyway of the Diagon Alley, and stopped dead on his track as he looked down at his piece of parchment. "A wand" he mummer to himself. Then looked to look at each sign on each shop looking for a wand shop as he walked down the alleyway and caught an old house standing there with the sign saying 'Ollivanders wand shop'. He pushed the door open and walked in slowly looking around the store for a bit then got to the counter putting his parchment into the back of his pocket and cleared his throat. "Excuse me" he called out quietly.

He waited patiently looking around the store for a few moment and jumped as he heard a creak and a thump beside him, there he was the old man was standing staring at him. "Ah. Mr.Valantine, supposed that you are searching for a wand" he smiled looking around walking toward a box on the shelve taking it out of the wall then walked back to Daniel pulling the wand out of the box, handing it over to him. "9 1/2 Phoenix in Ash, rather bendy". Daniel took the wand gently from his hand, it felt good with his hands around it and a red cloud of light surrounded him -- he wore a light blue top and dark blue tight jeans with black sneakers.

Finally when she got up to the counter she rolled her eyes and muttered, " 11 inches, Rosewood with Veela Hair Core, Thin and snappy, Good for charms"
