Deep thoughts can be dangerous at times.

Maura had a lot on her mind lately,  but then again what wasn't on her mind these days?  From Quidditch practice to preparing for N.E.W.T.s  her mind was running constantly.  She needed a break and stop thinking about things, but it was impossible for her to do lately and it was starting to become annoying.   Although she didn't like that she was thinking too much, she didn't mind thinking about a certain boy,  just thinking about him made her blush and smile.   They were good friends and rather close, but not a couple like most of her friends were now days.


Her mind still thinking about a certain boy, she shook her head heading towards the kitchen to get something to eat seeing how she missed dinner.  Yeah... she knew she had to stop doing that and it wasn't good for her, but sometimes she gets so busy she just forgets.  Humming softly to herself,  she headed towards the painting of the fruit before tickling the pear as it giggled as she giggled in return.  She didn't know why but no matter how many times she came down here for snacks or whatever,  the pear giggle always made her giggle cause it was contagious in her opinion.  Opening the door she walked in smiling at the house elves greeting them before asking if she could have something to eat seeing how she missed dinner.

It wasn't long before she had a plate of mac and cheese with chicken and mash potatoes.    "Oh wow thank you,  a sandwich or so would've been just fine."  Honestly she wasn't a picky person,  she would've made the sandwich herself for that matter as well.  Taking her seat, she dogged  into her chicken her stomach finally satisfied it now gotten some food.

Maddison had been neglecting her meals lately, often losing track of time while out with Mason or hiding away in her dorm room. She knew she needed to break this unhealthy habit. After getting ready for bed in a pair of comfortable pajama pants and an old t-shirt, she slipped on some fuzzy slippers and made her way to the cellar area. Walking down the hall, she approached a painting of a bowl of fruit that concealed the entrance to the kitchens. With a quick tick, the painting swung open.

As she entered the kitchen, Maddison began to greet the busy house elves with a hesitant "He--" before her eyes fell upon Maura. Her forced smile quickly faded, replaced by a more genuine expression of surprise. "Oh, hey Maura," she said, stepping over to stand beside her fellow student. "Did you skip dinner too?" she asked.
