My Castle Is Bigger Than Yours

So like, everyone said Hogwarts was sooooo cool. So awe inspiring. So HUGE.

Christian begged to differ. It wasn't that much bigger than his house.

"I just don't get why it's supposed to be so impressive," he said to a nearby student.

Yooooo. Welcome to the game of the day. There is literally no point to this thread, except for your character to convince Christian why Hogwarts is awesome. They can hang around, or just pass by. I don't expect anything more than a line or two (though you can certainly post more if you like!) just bypass that filter by hitting the preview button when you post.

Goose was still trying to figure out how he felt about Christian Thorfinn. For the most part, he liked him. The two could study together relatively successfully, and the times they had partnered up in class, they had done so without friction.

But sometimes.

At first, Goose wasn’t sure what the other first year was referring too. He glanced up from his meal and followed the other boy’s gaze curiously before he realized – did he mean the whole of Hogwarts?

“It’s probably not trying to impress you,” Goose pointed out, stabbing a sausage with his fork and lifting it to his mouth. Once he swallowed, he said, “I don’t know how many enchanted ceilings and disappearing rooms you’ve encountered… the ones here are my first, personally.”

"I guess so," Christian agreed.

There wouldn't be much point in the school trying to impress him.  His brother was still going to rule it with an iron fist be the Deputy Headmaster, regardless of whether Christian thought it was amazing or not.  And it wasn't like his parents were going to send him to Beauxbatons.

"We couldn't have an enchanted ceiling," he pointed out. "Too many muggles."

Of course, Goose didn't know where Christian was from, or that there were too many muggles around to make a magical ceiling practical.

"We have a waterfall into the moat, though. I mean, if you can call it a moat, it's more like a lake."
