What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Liesl's eyebrows raised as she stared at Star. She had to share her Head Girl status with him and he still thought he could get away with mouthing off here? She'd thought he was weird before, but it turned out he was just plain stupid.

"Get out, Alex," she dismissed him.

She did not want him in this room and so he would be obliged to leave, unless he wanted to experience her wrath; she may have seemed calm but Liesl had thought up a couple of choice ways to punish the boy should it turn out he did not wish to accede to his leader's demands. And that was more than likely.

"Does anybody else have anything they wish to say?" she asked pointedly.

Alex didn't move from his spot, as one of his hands was in his pocket gripping his wand. He wasn't one to fight but he has battled many people before. But the reason for his mouthing off, he wanted to see if Liesl would be a good leader. If she went off on every person that acted out of term, then she would lose her followers trust, which was important in a small group like this.

" Well I'm sorry for talking out of term, it won't happen again. But I can't leave, I have orders to be her and I've been scouting out our enemies "

Alex would now see how things would unfold, expecting it to go from bad to worst. He wasn't scared of her, or anyone here. But he should really start making friends within there group, to have a better say in things.

She wanted him to hurt. She wanted to force Georgia to choke him with her bare hands until his face turned blue.

"I don't know where you 'have orders' to be, but it's not here, Alex," she told him, shaking her head slowly.

"I know, because study groups don't usually have enemies."

It ought to have been illegal to be so stupid. The Dark Followers weren't a threat; they were a rag-tag group of children who spent most of their time talking smack. But still, if they ever wanted to become a real threat, they could start with not being so bloody trendy. Something Liesl was going to put a stop to right now.

She cocked her head to the right and plastered a look of faux concern across her features.

"Maybe you should drop by the hospital wing on your way back to the common room," she told him.

Honestly, Alistair hated Aaron for giving him the job of babysitting the toddlers. It was bad enough he had to see them in a classroom situation but worse still was the idea that he might actually have to help them. It wasn’t in Alistair’s nature to be at all helping to those that he was not either loyal to or required to help and though he’d been accepting of the order, he did not really think he would have to join them.

But upon getting wind of their meeting via whatever it was the fools were using, Alistair rose from his desk in his office and left the essays that the blundering excuses for Seventh Years had composed for Professor Lyons over the summer. Needless to say, pleased, he was not.

Still, upon his arrival, Alistair hoped he would find some plucky, over-eager brats that needed to be sat down and taught how to kill and not to be killed. Unfortunately, he was mistaken. No, when he entered he found the children bickering which was incredibly useful.

“Study group?” Alistair feigned ignorance. “Then I must have the wrong room. I was looking for the Dark Followers.”

The look Liesl shot at Alex was triumphant as one of their Professors D'Eath - the one from potions - chose that moment to look in on the group. Now was the perfect moment to demonstrate exactly what she meant.

"Sorry Professor, we're just practicing charms," she shrugged.

"Probably the Dark Followers are having a meeting in here tonight," she suggested. "They really like their stereotypes, like creeping out after curfew when everyone will notice them. Or talking about their secret society so everyone will know it exists and when all their meetings are."

"But Sir, I don't think you really need to worry about them. I think it's a game for most of them and they just want their friends to think they're badass and elite. It's not like they can actually do anything."

She restisted the urge to glare at Alex Star once again. That would just be too much, but hopefully the message was clear to him and everyone else.

She highly doubted she was that late. And even if she was she didn't exactly care anyways. The Dark Followers probably wouldn't be doing anything right now anyways. If it was anything like last year only a few of them were there and there would probably be some stupid dispute between some of them. She honestly didn't care though.

The only reason she was in the group to begin with was because her father expected it of her. Sure she was fond of the Dark Arts and Voldemort and whatnot, but she'd rather not be involved with these people. Only cause Dad wants me too. And it's not like he can trust Nathaniel. she thought.

She hoped that for once her brother wouldn't be a complete idiot and he would bother to show up. Even if he didn't it just showed how untrustworthy he was and their father would probably say something to him. Dani entered the hideout just a few moments after Professor D'Eath and she found herself among basically what she had predicted. Two of them had been having a little fight, which she missed just by a little, and they were doing nothing else.

Franki had pulled it off, remaining under the notice of all of these sharp-eyes Dark Followers who always seemed to be looking for something to criticize. As a girl with so much to be criticized, Franki knew she had to be counting her lucky stars right about now before they decided to stop shining upon her.

Franki liked Liesl, she really did. The girl was something most of the other blood thirsty followers were not - intelligent. And she had really pretty hair. Franki could feel the dissent and felt she had arrived as a crossroads. If she supported Liesl, she could be one of the shining stars if Liesl lasted. But as the young girl had not yet earned the respect of everyone else, Franki may very well be siding herself with the losing side.

She was sick of Malfoy and Loser meaning the same thing.

Alistair entered and she shrunk against the wall, hoping the shadows were enough to hide her from his notice. Yes, she loathed him, but her bravery had only been in the chance to leave the notice of the Potionsmaster. Now, she could not leave- she had only the choice of hiding her fear.

((moving on...))

With Liesl determined not to give away their agenda to a lowly professor, D'Eath had little recourse but to leave.

She looked around the group slowly, then sighed. At least half the people here thought she was too young to be their leader, or at least that they would be a better choice. Most of them hadn't had her life, though. Somehow, a lot of the purebloods at Hogwarts had managed to live relatively ordinary lives despite their parents' transgressions.

Liesl pushed herself onto one of the tables that had been shoved against the back wall.

"I think we need to go back to first principles," she said. "I know you hate muggles, but they can be a useful learning tool. Think about this: muggles can't modify anyone's memory so when they want to keep something secret, they have to do it by not telling anybody. This group is supposed to be a secret society so why does the whole school know its name?"

She looked at each person in turn, just in case someone had an answer to her question. If there was an answer and if someone was gutsy enough to give it, but knowing snakes, they would all wait for someone else to speak up and end up in another uncomfortable silence until Liesl continued with her tirade.

Alex wasn't into hiding like snake, waiting for a perfect chance to strike. Since he was the rather odd one, which he wanted to be in this group. He thought of the issue at hand, even if he didn't hate muggles because his family had used them for business in the new age. But they were very interesting pieces of work, but he could only think that the people within the society talk like they know everything, or even worst gossip spread around like wildfire.

" People just don't know when to keep quiet, Muggles have much more things on the line. They could end up in Jail, lose everything, or even killed if they spill a secret. But we are more stupid at times, thinking things can always be fixed with Magic, which is a weakness at times. All I can say is that most of us don't value this Society enough to care, it's always spread around in gossip in the school and for just a laugh about this little study group along others "

It was his way of seeing this thing, he never spoke to anyone about this group. Because it wasn't worth mentioning to anyone, friend or foe, there was no point as of yet.

Franki did not move from her place hidden from the others, but she felt compelled to speak, for no one wanted to give Star the room to continue speaking. Even Franki could be a team player at times. She glanced around, checking to see if she was in any immediate danger of getting a rebuke and face forward again.

"They don't have the pride. We are proud and want everyone to know who we are, which prevents us from being what we are- we can't do anything because it's all expected. A muggle does something out of need and stays quiet. We always get away with it, so we've bragged, and now we can't do anything."
