We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

The party seemed to be getting more lively, although Hitame didn't exactly notice how many more people were showing up. At this point she didn't even remember why she'd decided to come, Naomi was completely lost from her sight and there was really no point in looking for her now. And even if she did want to go look for her, she highly doubted this man would let her leave just like that.

She lifted her head when she heard her name being called out and she looked to find Sofie coming toward her and the man. She blinked a couple of times before looking at him with a frown and she nodded at Sofie. "Actually he is." she said, looking at the older girl. "You know -" she stopped herself there. That would be a stupid question to ask. Of course she knew who he was, they were both Death Eaters.

But it was strange to her how different the Death Eaters could be. He was so, mean and unruly. And then there was Sofie, who was actually kind. She honestly didn't understand them, and that just confused her more on what she'd been thinking about before.

The music was enough to coax her into forgetfulness, to coax her into believing that all was otherwise well in the world. Lifting her arms into the air, her hips moved with more vigour as she was enveloped by the music and by the heat of the bodies gyrating around her. She took a swig of the beer as she shimmied and swayed, tipping her head to and fro to the music. She spun around a little bit on her tip toes and looked over to see Cliff stumbling over to her. She giggled and thrust the bottle of beer towards him, grinning widely at him, insisting: “Drink!”

She looked at him intently and couldn’t help but smirk a little bit. “Dance!” She encouraged before letting her eyes slide shut and resuming her shimmying to the music. Millie turned around and reopened her eyes to grin widely at Cliff again. “I’m Millie!” She told him, taking back her beer and sending a wink his way.

He was so into the dancing that when she shoved the bottle towards him, his hands missed. He accidentally knocked his hand against her shoulder and the bottle dropped onto his foot, tipping over and spilling the contents. It rolled away and he stopped dancing to watch it roll off the dance floor. He looked back up and swallowed, before laughing nervously. She commanded him to dance and he began dancing wildly, spazzing a bit. "Huh?" he said, in a please-forgive-me tone.

She introduced herself again and his eyebrows collided. With a strained voice of serious confusion, he proclaimed, "But you already said that!"

"Yes! Yes, I mean, that's a perfectly appropriate, answer. Perfectly.. Appropriate."

He said, his face twitching a little at the answer. That definitely wasn't like Cecilia to answer like that. Normal? To hell with that answer. No one has ever answered 'How are you doing?' with 'Oh, I'm Normal.' But Jack pushed it aside. He was just happy to see Cecilia for once in a position other then school. He grabbed her hand delicately, before raising it up to his hand, and kissing it gently.

"It's an honor to be here, Ms. Krum."

Jack said, grinning.

HAWIIAN BEACH PARTY - Page 4 Empty Re: HAWIIAN BEACH PARTY

Post by Gisele Delacour-Quinn Fri Aug 03, 2012 2:30 am

When Gisele had received the invitation in the mail to Cecilia Krum's party her first thought had been absolutely no. She and Cecilia had never gotten along. From Gisele's perspective it seemed they were different on every level - from their view of pureblood society to their personal style to the way they dealt with people and the friends they kept. The two girls had made it perfectly clear to each other over the years of their dislike for one another and how Gisele had even managed to gain an invitation to this gathering was somewhat beyond her. But despite their differences there was one thing that the two girls had in common. They both went to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This meant that they shared peers. Slowly it sunk in for Gisele that going to this party would put her in the middle of a crowd of people she went to school with and had been shamefully out of touch with all summer.

With this in mind she had gotten her parents permission and had been brought to this beach in Hawaii by alongside apperation (16 couldn't come fast enough). As her transporter departed with a crack, Gisele made her way down the sandy slopes to where an already bustling party had begun. There was deafeningly loud music, beer, and bad dancing. Gisele felt more comfortable just at the sight. She braved the crowds, moving her way through them with minimum bumps and bruises, until she got to a cooler where people were handing out beers. She took one greatfully and started looking around for a familiar face to chat with. Saying her polite 'Hellos' as she made her way through the crowd, a flying mane of golden hair caught her attention from the dance floor. Of course. If you found the party, you found Melissa Finnigan.

By the looks of it the party had already taken a toll of Millie's judgement, as she was flailing around to the beat quite aggressively. The sight made Gisele laugh out loud. This was the Millie that she knew and loved.. The one who partied hard and danced the night away without a care left in her mind. Gisele knew every part of who this Millie was, as she had been her constant companion for over five years. This was comfortable and normal.. The only this missing from making it exactly like old times was Gisele herself. And so Gis set down her beer on the nearest open surface she could find (with no intention of going back for it later) and made her way out on to the dance floor. It was immediately hotter here from the radiating heat of moving bodies. It balanced off the cool night air nicely and Gisele was happy to have worn a very.. breathable.. top. She made it to where Millie was dancing with another Gryffindor in their year who Gisele had never directly spoken to, but had always admired for his humor in classes. She heard his last comment as she closed the final steps.

"And she'll say it a couple more times before the night is over, won't you Mill?" Gisele addressed the Gryffindor with a wide smile, her voice shouting to be heard over the music. She leaned in and gave Millie a quick hug (which proved to be difficult with Millie's continued wiggling to the music) and an almost unnoticeable peck on the cheek as she did so. Pulling back she smiled at her friend, feeling more and more alive with the energy of the party every second. You didn't need to be drunk or stoned to feel like doing something stupid just for laughs. "Gisele." she offered her hand for the Gryffindor to shake in greeting.

OOC: Whenever I mean to post short, it comes out long. Humph. But here's the outfit.

HAWIIAN BEACH PARTY - Page 4 Empty Re: HAWIIAN BEACH PARTY

Post by Isadora Malfoy1 Fri Aug 03, 2012 9:40 pm

Parties had always been Isadoras forte so when she received the invite for this one she was first to jump at the opportunity. She needed something to keep her mind off of the fact that the dark forces and death eaters were moving into her home and using it for their bidding. Of course the fact her father had been loosing money for some time had come as quite a shock for the Malfoy children who had still been spending it like there was no tomorrow. It was then with a shake of her head Isadora blocked all of the silly thoughts out of her head and apparated to the party. When she arrived the party was already in full swing and she saw many familiar faces, but none of which she really wanted to talk to. She headed over to the refreshments and grabbed herself a glass of firewhiskey before finding a seat and sitting down.

HAWIIAN BEACH PARTY - Page 4 Empty Re: HAWIIAN BEACH PARTY

Post by Amelia Macmillan Tue Aug 07, 2012 3:57 am

Amelia got out of the water after the creature swam away. She walked over to their bag and rolled out the towel she had brought. She actually felt quite cold after getting out of the water. She had worked herself up so much that she just curled up into a ball almost in tears. She was starting to wish she had stayed home instead of embarrassing herself like that.

“Come on sis, you’re not going to be this way all night, are you? This was your idea,” said Drew.
Amelia didn’t even move her head to glare at him. She hoped he would just leave her alone. She couldn’t believe that she had made such a scene. Drew frowned since he knew that Amelia was embarrassed.

“Melia, no one’s going to remember this tomorrow and I bet no one knows it was you out there,” said Drew. He was only thirteen but he knew how to talk to his sisters. He felt kind of bad that he made her freak out more.

“You better be right,” said Amelia. She knew he was trying to help but he still hadn’t learned that sometimes it is best to just shut it. She started to look around the beach for someone she knew but couldn’t find anyone. It was quite depressing.
