Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Depressed as Normal Empty Depressed as Normal

Post by Alder Ingram Tue Jul 31, 2012 1:02 am

Alder walked about a hot forest, moping and frowning as usual. What was the point of being happy when you have nothing to be happy for? He wanted nothing to do with anyone. EVER. Alder usually apparated to places where he wouldn't usually find anyone that he had to look at. The sight of something living disgusted him completely, but when needed, he could mask it. But never for too long.

He took a sip of water from a metal bottle he had been carrying with him. Once he put it away and looked up, there was a girl there, a young one. He rolled his eyes and scoffed.

Alexis hated being the forest right now. It was so muggy and uncomfortable, even for a werewolf. Of course she wasn't in her wolf form right now, since it was day and the full moon had passed. But her hunger for blood just grew even more and she needed a victim, even if she just killed the person with her wand. Her killing instincts had grown much more now, whether she was in her wolf or human form.

She heard someone approaching and turned her head in that direction. She saw a guy, one who she recognized vaguely as being a Death Eater and she only stared at him with narrowed, lifeless eyes. Everything about her was just so different now, and even she wasn't so clear as to what happened to her.

Alder just stood there as he stared at her. "Are you done, weirdo? Or are we to continue this until one of us blinks?" he asked aggressively. He stood there with his hands in his pockets and waiting for a response. Alder vaguely recognized her from the Death Eaters. He hated all of them anyway so there was no problem with being cold with her.

Alder was friendly with no one. Nothing. Never.

His words only succeeded in making Alexis even more angry than she already was. She gave him a sort of evil glare and scoffed at him ."You have no right to call me a 'weirdo'. At least I try to interact with the others and don't just sit there like a mute idiot." she spat at him. If he wanted to go off insulting her, then she would insult him right back, and she was pretty sure her insults would hurt him more than anything he could say to her.

"I don't have time to be wasting on something like you." she said with a face of disgust. Her wand hand started to itch as she felt the urge to grab her wand, in case he tried anything. Slowly she reached for it, but she didn't do anything with it, just grip it tightly. Just in case.

Alder scoffed. "If you were trying to interact with me, why were you staring me down?" he simply asked. If one was to interact with the other, they would usually say something instead of having a staring contest. It was strange. She was strange also. "Obviously you have time to be walking about in a forest in the scorching heat. But as you said, time's not to be wasted on something like me," Alder said and he walked off without another word.

He was not going to argue with her all day. It was too hot and her breath was only going to make it hotter.
