Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Tired and Depressed... Empty Tired and Depressed...

Post by Anabelle Mulciber Mon Apr 25, 2011 12:12 am

Hitame walked up to the Owlery, like she had been doing for about a week or two. It was the only place where she could usually be alone. The owls always seemed to welcome her there, as if she was one of them. It seemed weird to her, she fit in more with animals than with humans now.

Ever since Xemnas got hurt, she had been getting into more, unnecessary trouble. She had so much pressure on her and it she was beginning to become more and more depressed with each passing day. No one understood what she was going through, and the worst part of it all, was that she had to hide it from her little sister to protect her from what was going on.

Hitame always hated lying to Naomi, but she had been doing it her whole life. Hiding the fact that their parents were Death Eaters, and when she and Xemnas found out they were related she hid that from Naomi as well. When she finally told her, Hitame had burst into tears and she couldn't stop crying.

Now she was in the Owlery, looking out at the horizon, thinking about everything that had happened in such a short amount of time, tears coming to her eyes. She tried to hold back the tears, but they had begun to roll down her face, and she couldn't stop it. So she stood there looking out, silently weeping.

The owlery was the most horrid of places, but if you wanted to send a message to someone in a different house, it was really the only option, Calixta found. Trying not to gag as she breathed though her mouth, she climbed the MILLION steps to where the owls roosted and looked around for one to deliver a message to Ravenclaw tower.

When she noticed the weirdest thing. What was that ickle doing?

"You there!" she called. "Child-thing. Get away from there, before you fall off the edge."

The chances of the ickle falling off were minuscule, but Calixta liked the feeling of superiority she got from telling people off.

Hitame turned around, her face showing no emotion. "I'm NOT a child- thing." she spat. The girl seemed older than her, not that she cared. She didn't care about most things anymore, not even her own family. Xem had chosen that he wanted to stop caring about her, Naomi and even Sora. So why should she care about him?

"It'd be a good thing if I fell off the edge." she said flatly. But she had to take care of Naomi so she could let anything happen to her. She still had tears flowing down her cheeks, but she ignored them.

She looked away from the girl not wanting to say anything else, for she feared she would try to pick a fight with the girl. Fighting had never been Hitame's thing, but lately it seemed that was all she got into.

Calixta pulled a face.

"The angst!" she cried mockingly. "Oh Merlin, the angst! It's killing me!"

Calixta would have fallen to the floor in a dramatic demonstration of exactly how the angst was killing her, but the floor of the owlery wasn't exactly clean, so that was out of the question.

Oh well, poor what's-her-name missed out on a quality show.

Still she hated it when ickles started going on about how terrible their lives were. FOR SERIOUS? They were, like, twelve or something. Your life could not fall apart before you were at least thirteen. It was scientifically proven.

Of course, once you did hit the bit one-three, it was hormones galore and everything went to hell. Nobody could tell you that better than Calixta Montague. Her parents were still trying to set her up on dates with the Rosier twins. EW.

"Okay, ickle," she petted the girl companionably on the shoulder. "Hows about you tell Auntie Calix exactly what's so terrible about life at the most prestigious magical school in the entire world?"

Hitame looked out the window of the Owlery and sighed. "Don't call me an ickle." she said softly, slapping the girl's hand off of her shoulder. She wasn't in the mood to deal with the girl's arrogance. By how she spoke Hitame assumed the girl was a Slytherin.

She moved away from the girl and instinctively reached for her wand, which was in her cloak. She disliked Slytherins, not just because of the house rivalry, but because they thought they were better than everyone else.

Ever encounter she had with a Slytherin, always led to a fight, which is one reason why Hitame didn't go outside of the Gryffindor common room much anymore. She knew that if she went out, she would have a fight with someone. Most likely a Slytherin, and she didn't want to get into trouble because of them.
