Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Cross Games Empty Cross Games

The day was just completely beautiful. It was warm, the snow had melted away, and there wasn't a cloud in sight in the sky. It was some of the best weather he'd seen all year. Too bad he had nothing to do. He was jusy completely alone and bored out of his mind. It was times like these when Jake missed his friends, Callin and Mary. Even when he was annoyed that they wouldn't leave him alone, they would always keep him entertained in one way or another. It was like their best quality, making him and others laugh and entertaining them.

But now they were probably across the world or something. He hadn't seen them since their graduation. Mary and Callin's families had decided to go away somewhere together, while Jake had to stay because he had to look after his younger sister. All because his parents had decided to leave on a trip a few months before the graduation. Mayleen, like usual, had protested that she would he okay on her own, something hard to believe for a fifth year, besides she wasn't of age yet, so she couldn't stay alone no matter how old she thought she was. So the nineteen year old had been left alone with his sister.

That didn't mean he couldn't have some time without her. While she was probably at Hogsmeade with her friends, her older brother had decided to come out to Diagon Alley for a while. It had been a while since he'd been there, so he wanted to see how everything was there. Maybe eat at the Cafe his friend owned. Before that though, he did a little shopping, for new dress robes and such. Even a little something for Mayleen. Then he found himself in front of the cafe Twin Montez, and he remembered that was the name of the cafe his friend now owned. Just as he was about to enter it he heard a voice call his name.

Jake turned around swiftly and was almost thrown down onto the ground by a familiar figure that ran into him, unable to stop in time. He managed to catch himself though, and he looked at the figure questioningly. His face brightened when he saw Callin standing in front of him. "Yo Callin! It's been a while, wherever you been hiding?" he asked his friend. "Oh you know, I've been around. Going places with Mary and our families." he answered Jake. "Oh. She with you?" he asked Callin. "Nah man. We just got back from our trip so she stayed behind with my ma, to help around the house. What have you been up to?" Callin said. "Oh, nothing much. I went back to Hogwarts as the CoMC Professor and Head of Gryffindor after working for the Ministry as a Beast Specialist. Nothing too important." he stated as if it were nothing. "Nothing important? Dude are you kidding, that's totally awesome! You made something of yourself sooner than you expected, that's great." Callin praised him. "Eh, I guess. Let's go inside of this place. Remember Alexis? She owns this place now." he said. Callin nodded and the two went inside.

It was only on rare occasions that Suzannah would be seen in Diagon Alley. That was the place that poor people and criminals shopped. Suz would only be seen shopping at the most expensive, top notch shops around. But she wanted to get away from all of her friends. They were around her so much that she felt suffocated, she never had time to herself anymore. That was why she was seen in, what she thought to be, the scrubs of the Wizarding World. More often than not, Suzannah saw herself to be superior to everyone she came across, excluding her parents, grandparents, and so on. As far as she was concerned, she had no peers, only people who were beneath her. But, if she wanted to make something out of her life, she would have to treat people, almost, as her equals. Suz did not do anything since graduation; she did not have a job, a place of her own, or a husband. To her, if you did not have a husband by the time you were twenty-two, you were doomed to be alone.

Suzannah was eighteen, she still had a while to go, but she wanted to find someone to settle down with for a little while. She was maturing, and had no time for little boys, she wanted a man. Someone who would treat her like the goddess that she was. Suz stopped in her tracks and took out a compact mirror and looked at her reflection. After applying a fresh layer of lip gloss, she looked up at the building she was standing in front of. It was a little cafe, a low-budget one, no doubt. But, Suz needed to sit down and have a drink, her feet were killing her from the huge nude platforms she was wearing. Suzannah walked inside, an apparent look of distaste on her face, and headed for a little empty seat in the middle of the room. As she was walking, she bumped into a tall boy with long, black hair. "Ow!" She said as she fell flat on her rear. "Why don't you walk somewhere instead of standing in the middle of the way?" Suz said, annoyed. As she got to her feet, she realized that the boy she bumped into was the boy she came across at the lake back in school with her friend, Lizzie.

"Oh, it's you. Well, I do apologize for my walking into you, but really you should find a place to sit. There's not much room in this place as it is."

Alexis had done a good job in bringing this place back to like, in Jake's opinion. From what he heard the place looked like before, this was a huge improvement. Something that he hadn't doubted would be possible with Alexis' talent for designing, or re-designing in this case. It was much more lively and bright here now, it matched with the werewolf girl's personality. She was always the type to be happy and smiling, even when her life was actually horrible, when she had some problem that overwhelmed her. Her attitude at school was always enough to make anyone smile, and it seemed like she had no enemies there at all. She was almost the perfect student.

Callin had been talking about the trips his and Mary's families had gone on for a while. But he realized that Jake really wasn't interested, he changed subjects quickly. Just as he was about to say something about a completely new topic, Jake took an unexpected step forward. Callin jolted back, unsure of what had just happened and he gave Jake a questioning look, similar to the one he'd been given when he ran into Jake. They both looked behind him to see what had happened and they saw that a girl had walked into Jake. She seemed familiar, but he couldn't put his finger on who she was. Wow, he forgot things so fast, it wasn't even funny. Suddenly Callin spoke out, "Hey! It's you! That hottie from last year, while we were still at Hogwarts!" Jake stared at Callin, not believing that he had just said that.

He sighed and thought about his comment. Hottie from last year? Callin interrupted his thoughts again. "Where's your other hottie friend? Lizzie I think her name was." he said and that made him remember who Callin was talking about. That day at the lake, when he, Callin, and Mary had met those two girls. Callin had started flirting with Lizzie and was starting to be rude to Mary. Then Mary was jealous of this girl because she thought she was flirting with him. Jake offered the girl his hand to help her up, since he knew Callin wouldn't think to do it. "Hey. Suzannah right?" he asked her. "I suppose we should've found somewhere to sit instead of standing here like idiots, blocking the way." he sighed, giving her reason. "Would you care to join us?" Jake asked just to be polite.
