Hello everyone.
As some of you may, or may not have known one of our members, Nikki Lestrange (also known as Nikki Granger, and IRL Nikki Tongue) passed away recently.
It is a loss that has come as a complete shock to many of us, and it is a loss that will hurt and sadden all of us, particularly those who knew Nikki for the wonderful person she was.
Those of us that were lucky enough to know Nikki as a friend knew her to be a strong, determined young girl who was always willing to give a hand, and a girl who could make friends with almost anyone, a trait which is proving to be more and more valuable in our growing social age.
She suffered from disabilities all her life, but was strong enough to fight them. Unfortunately, without any warning she lost that fight very suddenly in her sleep on the night of Friday the 16th of December, 2011, shocking her friends and family.
Whilst many of you may not have known her for long, or have ever spoken to her outside of PA, I don't think any of us can deny that she was a very enthusiastic and very charismatic member, and she will be sorely missed by all.
The world is a little less bright from its loss Nikki, as are the hearts of all the people you touched in your, unfairly, short life. You will be missed, and we here at Potter's Army were touched to have known you, and to have considered you a member of this site, as well as a friend of this site.
Our deepest sympathies go out to your mother and family during this incredibly hard time.
Rest in peace Nikki, rest in peace.
