Welcome to Potter's Army

And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Last Potter's Army Meeting of the Year Empty Last Potter's Army Meeting of the Year

Post by Jaquellene Jack Dyllan Sat Jun 25, 2011 6:57 am

Jack sat in the Hog's Head, at the end of a long row of tables that had been pushed together to form one long table. Hogwarts was closed- after the battle, and the death of Thaor. Jack was fairly sure she had been the last student to leave Hogwarts- she had not seen any other students the day Thaor died. She had said her good byes to the school but there were some people she needed to see.

Jack had been challenged, especially in the past two years,to understand what was good and what was bad. She had met a lot of good people she did not trust, and she had seen good things from bad people. Vice versa, of course, too, but she had been challenged and her faith shaken.

Potter's Army was what kept her rooted, because her need to protect them had given her a sturdier place to stand. She was responsible for them- harm came to them, and it was on her head. She should have taught them better, she should have been watching them, she should have kept them okay..

As far as she knew, no one in Potter's Army had died, which was more than she could even dream for. Undoubtedly, there had been injuries- she had been stabbed, herself. But she knew she could not just leave them, leave things unsaid.. She had to meet with them one last time.

Last Potter's Army Meeting of the Year Empty Re: Last Potter's Army Meeting of the Year

Post by Walter "Xem" Charcovix Sat Jun 25, 2011 7:05 am

As Xemnas was running from the war, all the constant fireworks and such, he had heard of the death of Thaor and the opening of a new day. He also had heard the last potters army meeting was scheduled at Hogsmeade. Today was a hard day, he had to tell Jack why he did such things and he had to ask Sophia an important question. But first would be to deal with Jack. He was the first one there so he immediately approached her. "I'm sorry Jack that I didn't do anything.......I just......didn't wanna get in the way of things. I'd probably make you guys put your attention on me and make you even more injured. I'm not sure if what I did was right or wrong, but if it was bad I am so deeply sorry" Xemnas said sadly. A tear began forming in his eye as he explained how he felt. He was probably just being dramatic but that tear just came out from confusion. He was also sad that Jack was leaving, and he was even more confused at who was gonna be the next leader of potters army.

Last Potter's Army Meeting of the Year Empty Re: Last Potter's Army Meeting of the Year

Post by Miseria Lupin Sat Jun 25, 2011 8:12 am

Thankfully (or maybe not), Miseria wasn't really harmed after the battle, although, all of her bones were aching after the cruciatus curse that she got hit with.
She had heard of Thaors death, but she didn't pity him. No, she didn't hate him like many other Order members or maybe even like Potter's Army members, she didn't even know him.
Miseria doupted that people recognized her in the battle. Only Alexis knew that it was her. Thanks to the wolf telepathy, of course.

She approached three members, and looked at Selwyn, who was warning Jack and Xemnas. "Calm down, boy. You don't know what they're thinking of," she told him with a grin, and then looked at the other two members. So this was "the goodbye"? Only four of them were there. Miseria knew that none of the Potter's Army members died in the battle, but a lot of them probably got several injuries.

Last Potter's Army Meeting of the Year Empty Re: Last Potter's Army Meeting of the Year

After all the chaos that had happened during the battle, Hogwarts was closed now, and she heard that Thaor had died. She wasn't sure whether to pity him or not, she hadn't ever really met him. Hitame also heard that the last Potters Army meeting was being held in Hogsmeade, so that was where she was headed. She wondered who was already there and if everyone was okay. As far as she had heard no one died but she never really believed what she heard, she had to see it for herself.

As she walked in she saw only four other members. It made her worry that no one else was there, but she hoped that they were all actually fine. She looked around at all of them and she immediately lit up when she saw Xemnas. She was glad her brother was there, but upon looking closer at him she saw he was tearing up. Hitame looked at Jack, and she remembered that she was a seventh year, so that meant Jack would be leaving

Last Potter's Army Meeting of the Year Empty Re: Last Potter's Army Meeting of the Year

Xemnas was the first one in and was finishing up his little monologue as others began to troupe in. Jack was thrown off by tears- she could look down at a mangled body part and not bat an eye, but tears utterly confounded Jack. She never knew what to do with or about them. "Xemnas, you did a good thing. You're twelve. We need you alive."

Selwyn was being cheeky as usual but it made Jack grin to see him there. Had Selwyn been a traitor or whatever, there would have been evidence in the battle. From what she had heard, he had done his best to fight off Death Eaters and werewolves alike, and had hurt himself in the process. He had proved himself. "I'm glad to see you here, Selwyn."

Miseria and Hitame trouped in next, neither of them speaking to Jack. Jack could tell everyone was looking a little lost so she said, "Sit down, we'll wait for more to arrive." She glanced over at the bartender. "Five butterbeers please." She pulled out her moneybag and took out the correct amount, exchanging it for the mugs of frothy delight he brought. She slid the mugs to every respective person and continued to wait for people to arrive.

Last Potter's Army Meeting of the Year Empty Re: Last Potter's Army Meeting of the Year

Post by Louis Weasley1 Sat Jun 25, 2011 7:09 pm

Louis had stiches on his head, and a his eye color had gone from brown to light brown.
He had heard about the death of Thaor, Louis had once battled Thaor, and it didn't come out bad except his girlfriend Lucy ending up in the hospital.

Louis went on his way to Hogs Head, where he knew Jack was, he wanted to talk to her, she would probably kill him, he didn't know if news got out about Louis and Lucius fighting. He had been under the imperious curse had nearly killed Lucy.

He saw Hitame, Slewyn, Jack, and Xemnas.

He had heard their conversation.

"Hey guys." Louis had come out of the blue, sitting next to his friends. Jack would leave, and next year, Louis.

Last Potter's Army Meeting of the Year Empty Re: Last Potter's Army Meeting of the Year

Post by Baldric Pierson Sun Jun 26, 2011 8:29 pm

Hogsmeade was quiet, quieter than Sevastian could ever remember it being. As he walked up the dusty cobble road, the tension in the air became palpable and Sevastian looked about himself. Everywhere, he could see examples of the battle that had occurred up at the castle. Rather selfishly, Sevastian had gone willingly with his cousins who had specifically gone to fetch Elijah and Cecilia.

The fact that they’d come across him had purely happened by chance. If it wasn’t for the fact that he’d been lingering in the clock tower, weighing up his options, then Javier would never have found him.

Sevastian wasn’t sure what he’d missed but he knew that his absence had proven to have been an act of cowardice on his part. He’d gone with them though, with his figurative tail between his legs. It had been an act of self-preservation – selfishness in its most basic of forms.

And now, Sevastian had the gall to return for the last Potter’s Army meeting of the year.

How typical of a Krum.

Pushing open the door to the Hogs Head, Sevastian ducked inside. He turned and closed the door behind him, not willing himself to look at those who had fought just yet. He lingered for a moment or two before hesitantly turning to look at those there.

They all bore signs of the battle. Sevastian merely had a graze on his knee from where he’d stumbled the day before the battle and a bruise on his wrist from where Javier had dragged him down the stairs of the clock tower.

Sevastian made his way over to the crowd and nibbled on his bottom lip. He wrung his hands together before beginning to fiddle with a piece of loose stitching on the strap of his bag. He lifted his head and licked his lips before fixing his eyes on the group.

“H-how is everyone?”

Last Potter's Army Meeting of the Year Empty Re: Last Potter's Army Meeting of the Year

Post by Jaquellene Jack Dyllan Mon Jun 27, 2011 12:20 am

Jack typically judged how she did things on whether or not she was doing the right thing or the wrong thing, the brave thing or the cowardly thing. But when it came to Potter's Army, she could not think like that. She could not put her own morals in these kids and she could not force them to be as foolhardily brave as she was at times- that was just bordering on idiocy.

Jack judged these kids on the smart things they did- not saying they had to be smart, but she had been hoping if she could get anything ingrained in them, it would be common sense. Jack was only alive because of a few instances when she had been prompted to walk away- she had almost died because she did not have that skill down perfectly.

She had told the Order only NEWTs would fight- this had been a minor lie because she had told PA she would do nothing to control them. She could not make choices for them the rest of their lives, it was up to them. Of course, she would bark orders, but it was up to them to obey. Personally, she would rather everyone under 16 stayed in the castle- even some of the 16 year olds, she did not trust to duel.

Point being, Jack was not being too judgmental after the battle. They were all alive so they had all done something right, she supposed. She was not here to rehash the battle. Instead, she smiled at Louis and Sevastian and said, "Come on in and sit down. Bartender, two more please?" She dropped the coins on the table and he brought them Butterbeers. "I just want to wait a bit longer, see if anyone else is coming."
